Ibinabo hit and killed an individual who wasn't crossing any road. The person she killed didn't fling himself in front of her car. The person was a sane individual with responsibilities and a family.

Ibinabo 'drove' her 'drive' and killed him. It was either she couldn't drive properly, she made a mistake with the controls of her vehicle or that vehicle was not road worthy. Whichever one it was, in saner climes she would have been jailed.

Everyone heard about it yet nothing was done, she even went out the next week uploading smiling selfies as if it was her Phantom twin that murdered that person. Nobody talks about her issue anymore now except the grieving family and her own lawyers who smiled to the bank.

See Koffi, just for kicking he is in jail. Now tell me why someone without fear will loot 1kobo in that country?


If we go on like this Nigeria will not hold up much longer. I fear for our kids yet unborn.

That's messed up because I actually bought the ram because of an application I use which required it. I have never reformatted this pc since I got it 2 years ago and now because of new RAM I have to wipe it clean?

I just upgraded my Ram from 3gig to 4gig but my system does not want to utilize the new RAM. The PC has 2 RAM slots and i put 2gig RAM in each slot. What could be the solution to this issue?

How many LTE network providers are in Nigeria? Let's compare to that of Kenya first before asking the rationale behind their marketing strategy

I was travelling yesterday, from Owo to Ilesha. Just leaving Ogbese towards akure airport, an oncoimg car while trying to dodge a large crater on the road suddenly left its lane and faced the vehicle in front of mine. It was a tight call,the car ahead immediately swerved off the road and in a split moment reaction i braked and swerved only to find i had lost my steering control with the car skidding off into the bush. Being a car equipped with ABS, i would expect to still have some steering control while hard braking. But alas i saw my self rushing through the bush only a small ditch stopped the car. I felt guilty my ABS light has been on, and i hadnt bothered about rectifying it. Luckily no serious damage was done to the car, just scratches to my clean paint .I intend to fix all before travelling any long distance with this car again.
Please house whats they first step ? This is ONDO state not lag. Its difficult finding any Kazeem that knows what an ABS is. I am in Owo presently, any advice or recommendation woul be appreciated.

Car is a 2004 Kia Optima Ex 2.4l i4.

Can you imagine that i called them up this morning and a call centre assistant informed me (after allegedly cross checking the info available to him) that the promo was wrong. He told me that it was only valid for 7 days against the 14 days i saw on the advert and that the same USSD code is correct.

I told him the code is not working for me and i am seeing an advertised validity of 14days, but he wont believe me. He started asking many unnecessary questions like what plan i am on e.t.c . He said i should load extra N500 and opt for the N1000 plan which gives 300MB and N3,500 to call all networks valid for 14 days if the validity was my issue . . . imagine! that i should play 'baba-ijebu' on their network again oh! after the last USSD code didnt work?

He then told me that if the USSD code was giving me an eror i could still send a message to activate the same promo on my sim. The code i was given was to send 'V300' to 131 FOR THE SAME ADVERT OH (minus 7 days validity as it was a mistake from their part). Okay na, i then sent the message after i hung up and literally DIED of RAGE. See the screenshot below to see what the robbers gave me and took my N500 (after advertizing thrash)

long story short . . . MTN are thieves and have confused fellows handling their adverts and promos. I just called customer care again to complain but got another random guy, i was so livid i cussed the guy and hung up.

I don port go AIRTEL for now, at least these ones no dey lie lie anyhow

I was working late into the night and my internet data got exhausted. I needed to finish what i was working on so i started looking for an alternative.

I had an etisalat and mtn sim, i since etisalat was not too strong in my area i decided to instead look towards renewing my MTN data subscription. As i was checking my call credit balance i once again saw a promo which MTN had been offering which i earlier ignored. Since i only had to save the work and upload to my dropbox i opted for their advertised promo. I called up a friend at this unholy hour and he sent me some airtime.

I loaded the required N500 and then proceeded to activate my MTN awoof bundle but alas, MTN reminded me that their own things dey usually get 'K' leg. The darned USSD code will not even work at all . . . i mean, this is something they had been advertising for weeks.

Now i am stuck and will go to bed angry. Tomorrow morning any MTN call centre agent i call up and abuse should forgive me.

This thread will be about sharing our reasons for choosing a department in high school, the factors and people that aided your choice of course of study even though you ended up not practising it.

For me, I grew up being very organised and always wanted to be able to account for whatever I had and plan for what I needed. In junior secondary I did very well in all subjects save for Music (those musical notes were like rocket science). I remember enjoying my shorthand, Introductory Technology drawing, my fine art designs and sketching a skeleton in Integrated Science.  So, in a way I was well to do on every side. Subtly, I  had settled within me to study Physiology for the awe of the workings of the human body, the ecosystem and other living organisms I learnt from Integrated Science. Till the nightmare of balancing equation and all those chemical shii came up. I had 2 of my teachers explain the topics to me but to no avail.

I knew not understanding chemical components was gonna be trouble for me in Chemistry so I settled for Commercial dept when it was time to choose. I wasn't completely happy about this decision. Meanwhile, my clique of friends all went to science department. At the beginning of 3rd term I had made up my mind to switch to Sciences and discussed with my mum to come speak with the school management. I went ahead to collect notes of the prior terms from my closest friend (of blessed memory) in Science dept so I can catch up with what they had done.

Well, he influenced me to come his house. Unknowing to me that he had told his elder sister who was a chartered accountant to advise me to remain in commercial department and be my best there. The set up worked and I had a counsel of my life and that was the last day I ever pondered on being a science student.

Unfortunately, He died at the end of that term. I finished high and studied accounting at the university. Today, I practice as an accountant and I love every bit of it.

So... who's next, let's hear your story. 

Since I was small I like money. I already said to everyone who would ask that I wanted to be a Banker.

I went straight to commercial class and aced it. I wrote poly jamb, jamb and aced it. Got admission on merit to study accounts and poly and banking at uni. I chose banking. And it was good.


Fast forward to 3rd year, I was a computer nerd. I learnt computers stuff from here and there so fast within my undergraduate days, I was questioning myself by my final year if I might have chosen a wrong career path. It made me lose some focus in studies But all the same I pushed on.

Now I've made up my mind to study further and return to get a degree in ICT. Hopefully an advanced degree because I have my own practical experience plus the zeal to learn



It's a wonderful thing when someone discovers his/her talent at a young age. Parents and teachers are supposed to be the ones monitoring to see if they can spot them in children on time too. With focus if they build on it that child will be great no doubt.



Look at people who achieve major stuff in modern computer technologies I the world today, many did their magic before hitting their 30's. It's happening because they started very early.


Over 80% of schools in Nigeria don't have a standard computer lab/room, children with affinity to developing thunderstorms on computers can't shine if they don't go to the right schools.

It's not that I hate Toyota brands, it's just that I've not been erotically drawn to any before (both suv and sedan) maybe except for the 05/06 avalon ONLY. I don't like past or future designs of that model.


I mean, there are cars that as you see their front coming you would just like to turn your head and look at when the zoom past you. Apart from that particular avalon model year I don't bother twisting my neck for any Toyota.

What is this again? Why always complaining of those cars getting robbed? Is it unusual? It's something that is bound to happen giving the condition of our citizenry


Ask anybody who car to buy as first car. . . Ask which is easy to maintain . . . Ask which consumes lowest fuel ever. ..

Nigerians like Toyota, so why won't the robbers like it better? Don't you know Nigerian car thieves don't like to export their market?


Till we accept to try other alternative brands more often I see that those cars will still be hot cake to those crooks. That's why I can never buy any of them no matter what.

That, plus they look too 'just there' for my taste. I never fantasized about any camry or corolla brand in my life. I prefer a golf4 to camry 2.2 and golf 5 to spider 07-11. If the corolla isn't XRS I won't even see it if I'm standing in front of it (no matter the year). Toyota is not even trying with the way they are designing the new models.

What about EOD? is there an android system for this Accord model? How much is it please?

When I was in jss2 I had a friend who was living near me and we went to the same school together.

After much persuasion my friends mom decided to send down a ps1 for him from USA. She send 3 games, rayman3, resident evil directors cut and final Fantasy 7

My friend was angry, who no football? What is final Fantasy? We tried the game and it looked like crap, we wondered at the waste (3 whole cds) that could have been other games. My friends mom won't send anything till the following year for him so no hope of new games

We used 3 months to finish rayman, sweet game

Used around 3 months for the resident evil

We didn't think of touching that final Fantasy, not until my friends elder sis started playing it. I would come around and be drawn to the thing. I mean it actually looked 'somehow' from the rayman and other adventure games I knew then

That girl played it for 1 week and we took over the save from her lol we made it a rule that nobody would play the game except the 3 of us were together. THE GAME WAS TOO SWEET I found myself staying late at their home more often and I took the occasional scolding boldly with a smile


Then I would come to school and wait till break to go and find my friend for the latest gist on clouds adventures. That time when tifa died my friends sis actually cried. . . It was epic


I love to play a remake of final Fantasy 7, it's my best game of all time till date. I've played many games but none made me feel as FFIV did
