nice post @otitokoro1, your post is very commendable, sorry if am going to comment like a CAC protege but recently the commission has really improved in service delivery, the journey of ICT is a process not an event, take for instance Name availability that takes close to 7days before now takes a time frame of 24-48 hours. Registration of Business Name and Limited Liability Company takes like 14days unlike the #Months and done only in Abuja days. I will count your post as a clarion call for improvement its commendable to have constructive criticism like this to awaken the giants in them. Shalom |
Talking from experience...... I really wish this 48hrs thing is possible, the good-sad news is that CAC is improving in terms of service delivery but 48hrs registration is still in their ICT "pipeline" |
Getting your company registered, requires some basic steps, first a name search is conducted to check the availability of the name, this where most people miss it they intend to use common names but even if you like a name and you feel it is very common you can add another distinctive word and the name most likely sails through. We can help you secure that name |
It takes 24-48hours to conduct a name search, earlier before now it takes close to 7days. The commission is improving everyday, and am sure very soon name search will be incorporated in ACCREDITED AGENT website that can link up with CAC server to search and approval a name at a click as it is done in developed countries like UK |

Everyone is talking about Ebony Oshunrinde aka WondaGurl who produced Jay-Z’s cocky album track, “Crown.” Well why not, the 16-year-old is among the big name collaborators on Jay-Z’s “Magna Carta Holy Grail” and her life has changed forever. “Just people calling me, texting me and tweeting me all the time. My phone was just blowing up,” she said in an interview. The Canadian born producer claims she’s been working on music and creating beats since she was nine-years-old. According to reports, WondaGurl caught the attention of superstar producer and Drake’s friend, Boi 1da, who took her under his wing and helped her win the 2012 Battle of the Beatmakers competition. That was her first major recognition and has worked on tracks for SonReal & Rich Kidd, Ryan Leslie, and got a big placement on a Travi$ Scott track called “Uptown.” The fame is not getting to her head though, thanks to her parents who have insisted the 11th grade graduate completes her high-school studies before she makes any really big plans. “I have to focus on school because if I don’t my mom takes my computer away.” “Magna Carta Holy Grail” was released July 4, through a special promotion, to millions of Samsung Galaxy phone owners for free and its official released is tomorrow Sunday, July 7. The Huffington Post reports: It was her work on “Uptown” that caught Hov’s ear and he snapped up the hazy, loping trap beat that WondaGurl programmed for “Crown,” which sits alongside production by Scott, The-Dream, Boi 1da, Pharell Williams, Hit-Boy, Mike WiLL, and her first hero, Timbaland, among others. “I made a beat and sent it to Travi$ Scott and he said he was gonna do some stuff with it,” Oshunrinde recalls. “A few days later he texted me and said he was about to change my life but he wouldn’t tell me what he was talking about. Then he called me and told me I was officially on Jay-Z’s album.” Oshunrinde says that, as a fan of Jay-Z and the people involved on the record, the placement means a lot to her. She had no real intention when making the beat; she had a sample for Sizzla’s “Solid As A Rock” and applied it to her aesthetic, which she describes as “trap/hip-hop-type beats but, like, hard.” “A lot of people are making trap and it’s,like a little bit of that with real hip-hop mixed into one beat,” she elaborates. Has she spent much time listening to the much-discussed production on “Yeezus” by Kanye West? Does she look up to him, as an artist and producer? “It’s really different; I like it though,” she says. “As a producer yes, but not so much as an artist. I want to work with him, though,” WondaGurl catches herself. All of this stems from a childhood spent watching YouTube videos of Timbaland working in the studio. In fact, Oshunrinde says her entire musical education derives from watching YouTube and just trying things out on keyboards and computers supplied by her aunt and other family members, who have been very supportive of her dreams (“I want to win a Grammy,” she says in a matter-of-fact way). Good but the best is you should buy through reputable real estate firms or buy in an estate which also has flexible payment plan as an advantage or better still you can involve a neutral person that will just make enquiries about the property in disguise |
Nice trend, but is N30/kg not too small, also read that by 2014 FG plans to phase-out pure water. |
I always feel bad, when I hear stories of companies registered and their share capital is below 1,000,000 share capital. To worsen some situation some agents has price tags for some share capital like 100,000-200,000=N XX,Bleep, 200, 000-500,000= N XX, Bleep Please always insist on minimum of 1,000,000 share capital from any Registration Agent. 1. It costs the same to register below 1,000,000 and 1,000,000 2. You will have to pay way extra money to increase it to 1,000,000 share capital any time you wish 3. You will pay double to increase to status of a big company i.e 2,000,000 share capital which would have cost less if your company is on 1,000,000 share capital status. 4. Some firm might insists your company is on 1,000,000 share capital status to bid for a contract Shalom |

The ruling African National Congress (ANC) has rejected a request for US President Barack Obama to address both houses of Parliament when he visits South Africa later this month, the party disclosed on Friday. The request was put forward by the opposition Democratic Alliance (DA) to National Assembly Speaker Max Sisulu and Chairman of the National Council of Provinces Mninwa Mahlangu. The DA requests that the two houses of Parliament convene a special joint-sitting to allow Mr Obama to address lawmakers on his official visit. The ANC described the DA request as nothing but "a cynical publicity stunt." The request is "logically flawed," ANC chief whip Mathole Motshekga said. "It is important to note that in terms of international protocols, Parliament cannot invite a foreign head of state to address it. President Obama is visiting this country as the guest of the South African Government, and not as a guest of Parliament, " Mr Motshekga said. The addressing of joint sittings of Parliament occurs only as a result of a joint arrangement between the host head of state and their visiting counterpart, said Mr Motshekga. "The program of his visit therefore is determined jointly by the two governments. Parliament may therefore not hijack him, as suggested by the DA's request," Mr Motshekga said. President Obama's week-long African tour of Senegal, South Africa and Tanzania will run from June 26 to July 3, his first to Africa in his second term. |
Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola on Wednesday inaugurated the first cable bridge in the country, which will link Lekki and Ikoyi areas of the state. He said the late President Umar Yar’Adua played a crucial role in the realisation of the project. The governor said the late President’s disposition as a statesman rather than politician, accelerated the completion of the bridge. He said, “He (Yar’Adua) was in my view, the first builder of this bridge. When the design of the bridge was completed and shown to me, it was obvious that four properties would have to give way at the Ikoyi end. Two of them belonged to the Federal Government and were subjects of litigation between the state and the federal.” The governor said despite apprehension by his cabinet that the project would be scuttled by the government at the centre, he entertained no fear as he approached the late President.” He said, “When I showed him the design in his office in Abuja and told him what we wanted from him, he simply picked up his intercom and invited the then Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Alhaji Yayale Ahmed to join the meeting. “He told the SGF, ‘There is this bridge in conception by the Lagos State Government. It will affect some properties over which we have a dispute with the state government in court, please without prejudice to the outcome of the case, please release the two properties to them. Our political difference cannot stand in the way of our peoples’ development.’ That was President Yar’Adua as a statesman, not a politician. This was the same President who released our seized fund.” Fashola, who commended Ahmed for implementing the late President’s decision on the properties, also thanked those who voluntarily removed their properties to pave the way for the construction of the bridge. The governor said motorists, who wanted to use the bridge would pay some fees, depending on the category of the vehicles. He added that commercial motorcycles also known as okada; commercial tricycles, trailers and commercial buses would not be allowed on the bridge. He explained that with the construction of the bridge, traffic bottleneck often experienced in the area would be eliminated, adding that travel times would be greatly reduced. Fashola, who said his administration was committed to making transport easier in the state, added that construction of other bridges was ongoing in the state. On the amount to be paid by the motorists, Fashola said, “Users will have to pay a toll each way as follows: Class I saloon car, N250; Mini Vans, SUV and Light Pick Up; N300; non- Commercial buses with maximum seat of 26 persons, N400; motorcycle of 200CC, N100.” http://www.punchng.com/news/how-yaradua-made-link-bridge-possible-fashola/ |

Local government chairmen in Kogi state, should have a bigger feel of the grassroots that they administer, if they to be seen to be effective. That’s the candid view of Kogi state governor, Idris Wada, who says he won’t want to see the council bosses visiting Lokoja the state capital or the governor’s office at every given opportunity. Wada said that he expects the chairman to make a plan for every quarter on what their intentions are and that there will be a monthly meeting to see what their challenges and problems are, concerning the plan. The meeting will also evaluate their progress based on the plan which are drawn up as the development agenda for their various local governments. http://www.channelstv.com/home/2013/05/20/kogi-governor-bars-lg-chairmen-from-visiting-his-office/ |
