Immorality ko, stupidity ni.

Did Arsenal stop Barca from signing them up to professional deals?
the labour laws in spain don't allow 16 yr olds to sign professional deals. wenger is the last person to be demanding respect when he behaves like a thief in the night. beating the loopholes to steal teenagers in spain must stop. barcelona had to force arsenal to court to get a nominal compensation for cesc in 2003 and for merida few years ago.

True, but Alan Smith also made a rushed return from injury in 06/07 before he was dropped from d team to allow a full and proper return to his peak. It was obvious SAF was only trying his best to give Fletcher a chance of making d squad for d CL final after he missed out in 09. He can be sentimental like that.
alan smith broke his leg. . . .fletcher had a stomach bug or something. nothing to do with with limbs or having to learn to walk or run. he was also on the bench at wembley. in ma opinion, he was fit for that final. sir giggs should have stayed on the bench for fletcher.

With this type of voodoo mathematics even all the Qatar money will not save that silly club.

Ok we value Hleb at £30m. You poached, as usual, Hleb from us. Add the remaining change to the price and you owe us £60m+ to sign Cesc. grin

Now get out of this thread before I flog you out with peppered koboko. tongue
poached hleb? hleb had a contract before he was signed by barcelona. . . .same with henry, sylvinho and other arsenal players that moved to catalonia. cesc and merida had no contracts when wenger persuaded their parents to let the kids move to england. . . . .that is the immorality barcelona's mayor was highlighting.

Your argument fails when you try to generalize. Religion itself is not the problem in Nigeria  . . . . neither is it part of the issue. It is however, being used, like so many other things, as a tool to sow discord, by those in power.

Voting an atheist will not change the situation because the core problem is the general mentality that persists. We are some of the most educated in the world, yet by far the dumbest considering we have what so many others will kill for yet we do nothing tangible with it all.
the truth and nothing but the truth. . . .

the problem in nigeria has nothing to do with religion. the problem is with the people themselves. if you put a nigerian pastor/islamic cleric or a juju priest in power, the problems will not go away. maybe if we take greed, indiscipline, irresponsibility, dishonesty and selfish interests out of the country then there might be a glimmer of hope. as it is, the country is pure fuckery!

Cesc Fábregas Has Been 'kidnapped' By Arsenal, Says Catalan Mayor
The situation that Cesc Fábregas finds himself in at Arsenal is akin to a "kidnapping" and the London club should allow him to return to Barcelona, the mayor of his home town was quoted as saying on Friday.

Fábregas, 24, has made no secret of his wish to return one day to the club he left as a 16-year-old in 2003 but has stopped short of publicly demanding a transfer.

"We want him to come right away, he is experiencing a kidnapping," Estanislau Fors i Garcia, the mayor of the Catalan town Arenys de Mar where Fábregas grew up, was quoted as saying in the Barcelona-based daily newspaper Sport.

"If the English are so honourable they should behave properly," he added. "He [the Arsenal coach Arsène Wenger] has to stop clowning around because it's disorienting for all of us."

Barcelona failed in their attempt re-sign Fábregas in the summer of 2010, and look increasingly likely to do so again this year, having already had two bids rejected by Arsenal.

We can't play one striker as Chicarito can't lead the line,Berba will drop into the space  that Wesley will be in and rooney will be wasted there  besides Wesley likes to play in the number 10 role but so does Rooney. Utd could play a 4-3-3 with Rooney as the lone striker but even then Rooney will try and drop off. So he could get in Sneijder's way.
we can play one striker. . . . .chicharito can sit on the bench! he's a much better player as a sub when the opposing defenders are knackered. rooney/berba to lead the line as wesley stays behind them and flanked by valencia and nani.

Sneijder is also quite injury prone. To spend 35M for a player that's played an average of 22 league matches over the past 3 seasons is a huge gamble.
injury prone? i will take him ahead of most midfielders with his injuries. he's an asset to have. he sprays passes like no other. one of the best midfielders in europe who took many defences to the cleaners in 2010 for club and country. brazilians will not forget him in a while.

He's 27 so there's no resale value.
you could say the same for torres, berbatov, etc when they were bought by their respective clubs. united aren't small timers like arsenal. who cares about resale value? must we sell sneijder to make profit? why can't sneijder retire at old trafford like van der sar?

His name is also difficult to spell. Very annoying name
duh! he's dutch plus i have more difficulty spelling chamakh than sneijder!

Playing two strikers with sneidjer behind will be possible only if we sell Carrick for a more physical defensive central midfielder.besides i don't see Fergie playing two out and out wingers at aa time.there is the huge possiblity that he will play one line hugging winger and another who will tuck in most of the time (Park,Giggs).so there we will not be crowded out in the middle with two upfront and Wesley in the middle.
united can go about it this way. . . .

------de gea-----
raf--rio---vida---evra
-------carrick--------
valencia-------young
-------sneijder--------
----rooney-----berba/chicharito

my problem is that for 35 mil and 190 pounds a week, you need to build your team around that player and it feels like Veron part 2 all over again.
the presence is Carrick and Rooney in the first 11 make it look like a bridge too far.
carrick will play as a defensive midfielder and rooney can pair berba/chicharito up in the attack.

against big teams,

--------------back five--------------
------fletcher-------carrick---------
valencia-----sneijder-------nani--
-------roon/berba/chicharito------

i think we need wesley sneijder more than any other midfielder we are running after. modric is limited and nasri is a tad lazy!

de rossi is perfect and if we can get a position for sneijder, he will be perfect as well. midfielders can be very old and still perform - giggs, scholes, xavi, lampard, gerrard, etc. i hope we get wesley sneijder - i just dunno where he would play cos getting him would mean the end of fergie's adored 4-4-2 formation.

I think why some Nigerians behave like this is because they've been so brutalized by the whole Nigerian experience that somewhere along the line they've lost that thing that, to a large extent seperates we humans from other animals: empathy.

The guys that killed that guy are so hardened and cold-hearted that they'll probably forget about the whole thing the next day. They've been left devoid of compassion from the frustration; hunger; joblessness and lack of love that comes with being the wretched poor in Nigeria. They probably never had a hug growing up, and were never told how special and loved they are.

That's what growing up poor in Nigeria can do to you, if the necessary nuturing and love is absent. Unless you're one of the very few that get a lucky break, it's a sad situation from the cradle to the grave. sad

May the soul of the brother killed rest in peace.
and this was what angered me when i saw the video clip.

i saw a bunch of heartless, murderous bunch of miscreants taking advantage of a defenceless man. yes, these men are frustrated, angry, hopeless, jobless, etc but their anger should be directed to the politicians not to a man like them who felt crime pays. if our people channel their negative energy to fight the pot-bellied politicians stealing billions meant for them in the country, nigeria would have been revolutionized like egypt, tunisia, etc. nigerians are so barbaric to the point of murdering scapegoats on the streets is their only way to de-stress!

Good day to you Mr.
Sounds like something my 4 year old would say. Ke ke ke ke
it's your lack of common sense that is the issue here. polygamy and cheating are all the same thing. a man who marries a first wife and goes after the second has cheated. it is not until a man sleeps with another woman that constitutes to cheating. it does not matter if his intention is to marry the second woman. the process of chasing after her itself is cheating(on his first wife). if you cannot get that into your head, then get a broom and sweep a warehouse!

I have told you I was using what you wrote, now you see how silly it sounds. .If a man wants to marry a second wife, why would he bother cheating with her when he is going to marry her anyway? It does not make sense.

Men in monogamous relationships cheat more the men in polygamous relationships. .I even doubt they cheat because I have never heard of one case where a man with 2 wives will cheat when he can just go ask for her hand in marriage. I don't want to sound naive to say polygynous men don't cheat but you just cannot compare Polygamy to cheating it just don't work out. .
for fucks sake, stop arguing because you like the colour of your prints. the moment a married man starts chasing after another woman, he has cheated. whether he eventually marries her is irrelevant. he has cheated on his first wife by going after the second one. that is my point. so men who marry more than a wife are as bad as the ones who bust their nuts secretly. they have all betrayed their first wives!!!

Coogar, speak what you know  .Women in polygamous relationships do know what they are getting themsleves in and only a few are forced into it.

Many women accept it because it is part of their culture. It is stupid to compare cheating aka adultery to polygamy.

I am sure if you ask anyone on here if they have been affected by the polygamous family they will tell you "no" because it has not affected them physically or psychologically. Fine, there are fights and arguments between the women and children but in the end they are all one family because they are bound by the laws of marriage.
You do not make sense, abeg if you believe that men sleep with the second wife first before marrying na yor own. In the end, is he not going to marry the second wife?

This guy is too daft. This must be kobojunkie. Very senseless stuff up there. Polygamy is not an arrangement without an understanding? Then what is it? I assure you, your brain is leaking. Hence your inability to rationalize common definitions. If your conscience is pricking you, so it hsould because cheating by either spouse is wrong and should not be glorified.
you are a tool! what has conscience gotta do with this? i am not married and i don't hail from a polygamous setting. i am just telling a dullard like you that polygamous men cheated before they brought the other wives in. if you have any iota of common sense in your head, this shouldn't be too ambiguous to decipher but then with your low iq, i don't expect you to process information that quickly. it will probably take a full month before you understand my point.

The effects are not worth it to your children. You children are your legacy and foot print in this world. It should not be you giving them spiritual, emotional and mental issues. I can assure you that children who see their parents or grandparents jumping from one room to another do not find it grotesque because it is non of their business. Comparing polygamy and cheating is not the right route to go because the children do know that their Father or in some cases mother is married to these women/men and they do not grow up thinking they can sleep with any woman. They very well know the father married these women and as 2mch wrote is an arrangement with understandings between the 2 to 4 wives or how many wives are included and children.
the fact is their father has cheated or kept an extramarital affair before having the chutzpah to bring the lady in question home. men don't just meet women on the street and marry them on the spot. a whole lot of sexual activities must have happened before the man brings his concubine home to marry her. did i even say marriage? in nigeria, there's no marriage after the first wife. . . . .it's just a simple issue of the man bringing his family members to cajole the wife to chill out and create a little space for the new woman to perch.

You sound like kobojunkie, arguing just for the sake of it. The fact remains Polygamy is an arrangement with a certain understanding. Having a family outside of your own family which was joined by God and under religious law is a betrayal of trust to everything you stand for. It shows weakness, poor judgement and lack of foresight. It also shows heavy immaturity. You have been faced with a thread about the other side. And how children of a cheating spouse truly feel. I showed you this and you deviated to polygamy. Is your brain leaking?
not at all, my brain is not leaking but i can bet me life spermflakes occupy the space your braincells should be.

polygamy is not an arrangement with a certain understanding. it is forced on the women in that household. having a family outside is a betrayal of trust and everything a man stands for just like bringing home a second, third, fourth and fifth wife. as at the time the man married his first wife, they signed "for better for worse" and in nigeria, the subsequent wives in that household are not even legally bounded to their husband.

mostly it's always a case of the man keeping an affair for x number of years outside his home and then deciding to bring the wife home after she has been knocked or some other related issues. . . .so it's still the same betrayal, same lack of trust, same dishonesty, same shyte!
i don't see the difference between a standard polygamous setting and a man busting his nut secretly, you simpleton!!!

A polygamous home is cheating to you? The people in a polygamous home are aware of the arrangement.
what arrangement? i ask. . . . .it's the same ish - the kid in the link you provided couldn't stand his dad with another woman. kids raised in a polygamous setting grew up seeing their dads with different women. dad hopping from one bedroom to another is even more grotesque. my point is. . . .t.i.a.(this is africa). . . .such things are so normal, without it happening life would be abnormal.

And most of the people i know that come out of polygamous homes have horror stories. Right now all you think about is feeding your libido at the expense of your children's future and happiness. Does that make any sense to you? I know i dont want the same for mine. Why spend so much money on another person, when the money can be invested in your children's future. there must be more than 400,000 members of this forum from a polygamous house - not all of them have written such about their fathers so it means polygamy worked for some. and what makes you think a compact nuclear family does not have it's own issues too? why spend so much money on another person? you want to advise a full-grown adult how to spend his own money? grin
