SAMBARRY: God forbid evil.ile olorogun=ogba were . have you heard that yoruba proverb before? A polygamous home is synonymous to a psychiatric camp where they dump psychotic peeps
maybe polygamous homes where crazy people are shackled together. i have seen plenty of polygamous homes way better than monogamous ones.

SAMBARRY: you better respect yasef around me and talk to me like a gentleman and not like a tout .thank you. smiley

SailorXY: what do you mean by regress?
play him in CM & saying he's regressed? even van Gaal won't dare think in such line.
he had a back injury carrying Man United alone last season, flying down the wings! and some month's later he won't make it? please!
back injury carrying who? after the sunderland game where he shone, what else did he do? he lost us the carling cup at old trafford playing like a castrated deer.

see how far sterling has progressed, see januzaj still playing like a schoolboy. he won't make it. everyone just wants him to but he won't. let's bet on this.

play 4-3-3 with Januzaj & di Maria either side of Falcao, and come back here let's analyze his impact after just 3 games
you would play januzaj in 4-3-3? grin cheesy

ElFenomeno1: I feel Costa is going to blank this week. I have a funny feeling.
you may be right.....
it's a big gamble though. if you are right, you get the differentials, but if you are wrong & he gets a hatrick, you would be 300 steps backwards.

look at it tho...
they play villa who they have beaten 7-0, 8-0, and other ridiculous cricket scores in the past. chelsea are at home in their comfort zone. the likelihood of him not scoring is thinner than the skin of my teeth.

Ujujoan: A single, jobless, uneducated 30yo probably would.
you have lost touch with reality.
a married woman with a job at 30 would still jump at the offer. where were you when a scammer took 7,000 nigerians to dreamland by promising he would take them to canada? grin

A 19 year old has all the time and limitless opportunities ahead of her. At 30 she could be married with kids, working as a doctor in the US, not SA ooooh.
with the poverty level described by the OP, she's likelier to have ended up with a wooden stall selling tomtom, kolanut, boiled eggs & benson & hedges cigarettes. time & limitless opportunities ahead of her?

your second name must be josephine grin

Ujujoan: I would if I could. But common sense dictates here.
I don't think the young girl would have chosen this if she had a choice in the matter. I could be wrong dou, because children of now a days sef.
even if she's 30 years of age, she would still jump at the offer. university tuition for free, free accommodation, free food, etc ......all in South Africa?

you gotta be kidding me....
Family › Re: Your Perspective On This Family Issue by coogar: 11:23am On Sep 27, 2014
Toby77: Not true.

I know the girl in question, her dad, her mom and the pastor. it's not lies. I have said what I know so far
of course you know her.....
the question is - do you have speshul feelings for this babe? does your heart echo for her?

think carefully before answering my questions. cheesy

Ujujoan: Now who is making assumptions? huh
which assumption?
the risk of getting pregnant is the same back home and in SA. her reproductive system is the same home or abroad.
Family › Re: Your Perspective On This Family Issue by coogar: 11:20am On Sep 27, 2014
Ujujoan: It doesn't matter if he had a hidden interest in the lady. I will frown at such an arrangement too.

Now the girl is with the man, they are at his mercy. He could decide to back out of his promise to provide university education and they really can't do anything about it.

What if the girl gets pregnant now?

Its just too much of a gamble, and I'm honestly surprised you guys see nothing wrong in it.

Forcing a girl into marrying a man over 2ce her age in the name of poverty. Na wah.
would her vagïna be sealed up if she had stayed back in her parent's house? the risk of getting pregnant is the same either in naija or SA but she's better off with the man in SA rather than a JAMB lesson teacher who would knock her up & disappear into thin air.
Family › Re: Your Perspective On This Family Issue by coogar: 11:18am On Sep 27, 2014
Ujujoan: You assume he doesn't have the full details?
Or could you point out where he mentioned that?
he's not related to the family, neither is he the pastor? what could he possibly know about the case rather than the hearsay of other envious members of the church?

I remember him saying how the family prayed and got permission from God. I doubt he would have missed a marital arrangement if that ever came up
by now, you should learn to separate the wheat from the chaff. all that is just to sugar-coat the story. the koko of the story is that the OP is pained his crush is now living with another man far away in SA. grin
Family › Re: Your Perspective On This Family Issue by coogar: 11:12am On Sep 27, 2014
Ujujoan: So you admit then that this 'arrangement' is not a no string attached charity?
i am arguing based on even if it's a highly stringed attached charity, there's nothing morally or ethically wrong with it.

So why the whole secrecyhuh
which secrecy? have you heard the other side of the coin? an OP who doesn't know the full details came to write based on his limited understanding of an issue & you are already eating it line hook & sinker?

how did the OP know his way to the girl's facebook page if he's not interested in the girl himself? cheesy grin

PS; completely ignoring your need for irrevant analogies. I'm sure Omatala and her family will be happy to be left out of this. cheesy
why should they be?
she was 17/18 when they married her off & her parents weren't poor. they felt she was old enough to marry.

nigeria is just a shyte country where children can never grow in the view of their parents. i am sure someone like you clocked 35 before you were allowed to move out of your parents house.
Family › Re: Your Perspective On This Family Issue by coogar: 11:05am On Sep 27, 2014
Ujujoan: So the end justifies the means ehhuh

If the parents are so sure they are doing the right thing, why lie and hide behind a bogus story?

Anyway, to each his own.
the OP does not have the full details - he's just telling it from his own POV. he could be wrong.

then again, after reading the OP's post - i sense a conflict of interest. he's most likely interested in the girl only to hear his crush has been shipped off to south africa by a nigerian business man. cheesy
Family › Re: Your Perspective On This Family Issue by coogar: 11:02am On Sep 27, 2014
Ujujoan: As far as the man is not a blood relative, it just doesn't sound right.

I find it difficult to believe that the man couldn't find a relative to use as a domestic help if that's what he really wanted. Sounds to me like an arranged marriage or something of that nature.

While that is not legally wrong, it is morally and ethically wrong. Kind of like selling your child to he highest bidder in the name of poverty.

Adult or not, I'm not about to send off my 19yo to live with a 40yo single man. Never!!!

Typical of Nigerians. Hiding behind religion to perpetuate evil. Won't be surprised if they have collected bride price on the poor girls head. Talk about desperate measures.
how's this different from omotola jalade getting married at 18? did omotola marry her age-mate or her parents sold her to the highest bidder?

you people just open your mouth like there's a hot cocoyam there. in saner climes, a 19-year old girl will not even be in her parents house anymore. she would be by herself making her own decisions.

Flight ticket
Work visa

Employee in his own business
Accommodation, feeding and bills

You are unmarried. Both of you roll together. You are are mentor. And she's with you for 5 years. Coupled with that you are about 20 years older, brov...... Look at it now

She can't possibly refuse anything the man says. It's Yes Sir. Besides since the parents agree am sure that will make her like it plus the man is rich and will take care of her.

How can she possibly choose freely? grin grin grin grin grin

Am I the only one seeing all these grin grin grin grin or is everybody playing devil's advocate grin
even if that is the case, what's morally wrong with it? are they related? the man is 40, babe is 19. i believe she is old enough to take decisions herself. many girls younger than her ran away from home when they were presented with an arrangement they weren't comfortable with.

i see nothing wrong in what this man has done even if he's got an ulterior motive to marry her later. he could as well have paid her brideprice & whisk her away to south africa altogether. the next time her family sees her, she would be more exposed, more educated and with the potential to help her younger siblings who are still stuck in her parent's house.

liar!!!
rooney didn't score a goal from open play that season until the new year. fire wetin immediately? was that not the season berbatov won the golden boot & rooney was reduced to a passenger?

Is it only RVP who played world cup semi final? Some players played in the final and they arent complaining. RVP has been complaining since last season. The other time he said too much work is unhealthy. He si getting lazy.
RVP had no preseason.
rooney has played 5-6 more games than RVP, he should be in a better shape than RVP by logic.....

elampiro: Mata scored twice this season.

Man United vs Swansea: Mata and Rooney on for 90 mins. Rooney 8.3, Mata 6.7
rooney assisted, mata didn't!

Man United vs Sunderland. Mata scored and was only able to get a rating of 7.1, Rooney without any major activity was close to him at 6.5.
how do you know rooney didn't have any major activity? what about his headless chicken runs? recovering balls deep into united's half? his set-piece taking nko? at least, he creates chances from setplays. whoscored told you they record over 2,000 actions on the pitch so you are only just assuming within the limitation of your understanding.

how come mata rated higher on the day he scored? grin

These are the only two times they have both played 90 mins. Rooney had 14.8, Mata 13.8. grin. Mata is the scm of rthe century. grin grin grin grin cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy
mata is rooney's father in creativity. he has topped the assist charts in his limited time in the league. he has topped the charts for created chances in his limited time in england.

rooney - no golden boot, never topped the assist chart, never been known to be special at anything apart from eating quarter pounder burgers, drinking beer like a lunatic & fücking 80 year old grandmothers.

rooney is a disgrace to the red shirt.

elampiro: You have brought another dubious chat again. I have told you that chances per game tells nothing. Baines and other set piece takers get their stats from there. RVP is in your chat. was he a creator?
Anyway, I leave that for another day.
what have i been telling you since? RVP creates as many as he scores? why do you think i have been saying he's even better than rooney in the hole.

go to whoscored & see his creativity stats in 11/12 season. he scored goals & assisted plenty of goals. the stats are not far-fetched.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 12:12am On Sep 27, 2014
elampiro: Fa fa fa fowl:

A player can be on for 90 mins plus added time and still get rated below '6.0'. Whereas another can come in ten mins to go and get rated 7.0
show us one example!
since you have refused to follow logic then i better just expose you as a soccer illiterate then.

show us an example where a substitute came on to the pitch without doing anything meaningful like goals/assists/throughballs/key pass or chance created & he scored higher than another useless player of equal weight in the game.

Mata is a scam. Mourinho is a guru, he got it spot on. Gaal will soon realize this too. grin
chelsea's best player for 2 seasons?
mata won UCL in his first season, won europa in the second season. they sold mata & chelsea finished trophyless under mourinho. grin cheesy

mourinho is a rëtard!

elampiro: * Rooney won two or three MOTM Last season on whoscored even when he was substituted.

* James Wilson was rated 8.0 vs West Ham.

Mata is a complete scam.
because rooney had scored goals or assisted plenty before the substitution. why won't he win the MOTM when the people he left on the pitch couldn't subdue what he had done before coming off?

can you not follow a simple logic?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 12:00am On Sep 27, 2014
elampiro: How did James Wilson win whoscored MOTM against West Ham when he played only 64 minutes last season? How does Bale win MOTM when he plays only 60 mins?
because they score goals or assists....
which is beside the point. the point is if player A does exactly as player B on the pitch but player A came off earlier than B then B would naturally get rated higher.

it's simple logic - a player that spent more time on the pitch would complete more passes, more dribbles, etc than the one that came off.

This was the same reason you gave for Kagawa's poor form in Madrid until I corrected you.
corrected who?
you have never corrected me on this forum. i even introduced you to whoscored & opta. the records are there for you to see so stop punching above your station.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 11:48pm On Sep 26, 2014
elampiro: When Rooney scored and asssisted against QPR, you did not bring any argument. You did not blame RVP for missed chances since the season started. We lost you brought an argument against Rooney. Even though RVP was our worst player on the day.

Carry on.

Whoscred season rating as of today:
Rooney 7.25
RVP 6.89
Mata 6.8

This is despite Rooney having an 'e'.
Ayagayagayagayo he, ayagayagayagayo
whoscored statistics are shït - everything they do is per game instead of per minutes.

rooney has completed 90 minutes in all the league games we have played, mata & RVP have been used as subs or come off as subs. the rating would be skewed towards a player that stayed more on the pitch.

how can you not see this? rooney plays 90 mins & completes 60 passes. RVP comes off after 60 mins & completes 40 passes.

whoscored would rate RVP - 40 per game & rooney - 60 per game when it's obvious one of them spent more minutes on the pitch to complete more passes.

the best statistical site is the one i am using and EPLindex. whoscored is outdated with their per game metrics. elampawa, no one is buying your cooked up stats.

RVP & mata>>>>>>> rooney

Shirley07: Mata isn't a creator though, he's a second striker.
I don't even know why both of you are arguing about Rooney and Mata, both players aint worth it.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 11:38pm On Sep 26, 2014
elampiro: Mata in the hole in EPL= Chelsea 6th.
Mata left Chelsea, Chelsea commanding.
chelsea is different from man utd. stop comparing apples & oranges. chelsea had no RVP, rooney, de gea or carrick.

however, mata & rooney at united have the same team mates, manager, tactics, etc. mata's last showing in the hole got us an emphatic victory with a clean sheet. rooney's last showing in the hole got us thoroughly beaten by a newly promoted side.

what is rooney defending?

Mata arrived United, left us worse last season. This season, his biscuit bone football continues. Mata should go and play in Malta league.
he has posted better stats than rooney.

rooney is finished!
