SailorXY: as far as I'm concerned, the defeat falls smack on Ayila's laps for her selfishness. ball dey enter net jeje, you still dey pursue am why? are you a defender?? SMH!like i said, no football brain. everyone of them wants to be the heroine. "na me score am" mentality killed the falconets. pauline breman took the ball from our defender. she ran the ball into the box but she was selfless. she saw a teammate standing free & in a better position to score. she didn't try to be a heroine, she did what an intelligent player would do by passing the ball. elampiro: Let me remind you first that Oshoala redeemed her self at the end as you always argue for CR7. If not for the stupidity of Ayila, she actually won the tournament for Nigeria.you are buttressing my point! 7 goals, golden ball winner, sexiest yänsh, cutest bòobs - they are all individual awards. the biggest prize is the team award - the cup. we failed to get that! germany played like a team - we played like a bunch of individuals meeting in a local park for the first time. team work will always overshadow individual effort. |
elampiro: * You see, that's life. Our keeper has been our worst player until last night. Now you saw one match and you think she's the only sensible player.she was the best player in our team on the day it mattered the most! it was the final - nothing matters like yesterday's game. it's the day no one should have been selfish or trying to claim any glory. football is a team work. * Germany and USA are powers of women football. When you play them, you have to think deep to try and do something different. It's like an EPL team having to come to Old Trafford in 2008. We aren't I same level in women football, so their game was expected to be more organized than ours.the german side i saw struggled throughout the regulation time. if the falconets had made the right decisions in critical moments of the game, beating them 5-0 wouldn't be an exaggeration. falconets controlled the game for 90 minutes - we lost the initiative when they scored in the 8 mins into the extra time. * Our girls were tired in extra time. The reason they could cross well as you observed. The coach didn't help them in the energy aspect. They ran too much in the first half.they weren't tired, they were just stüpid. crossing the ball is more convenient than exerting force to shoot at a difficult angle. the germans were tired too but they never lacked their discipline in the danger areas of the pitch. Asisat Oshoala was easily the most intelligent player of the tournament. Her football brain was the best. Don't take one match in isolation.there was no evidence of her outstanding football brain last night. she played like a donkey. yes, she's got pace, power, aggression but there was no panache. she had a chance in the first half of extra time - instead of crossing the ball to a teammate, she attempted a shot on target & kicked the ball into the ground. she's got no football brain! |
elampiro: So you can buy Vidal for £70m?vidal is the best box to box midfielder in the world. di maria isn't the best winger in the world. i will pay £80m for vidal if i were ed woodward. he's the missing link in our team. |
elampiro: ^elampawa, this is not the time for sentiments. the falconets were better than the germans, they lost because they had no common sense & no discipline. their mental strength was non-existent. after germany scored, we barely tested their goalkeeper, we just faded off. if our girls had done what pauline bremer did when she robbed abasi of the ball, we would have beaten them 4-0. don't try to be a hero from a difficult angle. get the ball to the bye-line & cross it. chances are there can be an own goal sef. we failed to do that each time with everyone taking stüpid shots from an impossible angle. the girls lacked discipline - everyone of them. only our goalkeeper gets her full credits. she made some outstanding saves. with all the skills possessed by oshoala & ayila, they lacked the football brain to match it. they deserved to lose. |
r231: Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini = £64.1m vs Angel Di Maria £63.9mi would take the former - the latter is a luxury buy. if it's mata + fellaini vs vidal @ £70m then i would take vidal. |
the falconets were so frustrating. to think i sacrificed my bed to watch that shower of shyte still irks me. thank feck today's a bank holiday. it's like a team of 2 decent players & 8 phil joneses......... no stealth, no panache, no common sense. it's standard rule.....when a striker runs the ball to the bye-line, she should cross the ball into the danger area. i cannot count the number of times oshola & the horse looking chic got the ball to the bye-line & failed to cross it. their play was useless. the germans were not as skilful but they understood the basic stuff in football & i wasn't surprised when they scored their goal by doing what the falconets failed to do with the number of times they got the ball to the bye-line. the most painful part were the short corners when time was almost up. worthless players, i hope they get detained at kuje prison when they return. |
babygirlfl: This is not a problem with women only. This is a problem with society. We practice master slave relationship in almost every sector. Boss to staff, government to the people being governed, pastor to members, husband to wife, madam to house girl, lecturer to student. civil servant to civilians and the list goes on. There is constant abuse of position and leadership in our society. We as a society need to change the way we think.women are the chief abusers of children. their hormonal nature makes them a ticking time-bomb. a woman is ready to vent her frustrations of menstrual cramps on anyone working under her. i hope the woman that did that to her maid gets the ALUU treatment. |
AirborneLacer: Spot the incoherence.elampiro needs deliverance..... his arguments are always zigzagged. on one hand he says there are more marquee transfers to come in the midfield & it doesn't matter who we get first. on the other hand, he's still saying if the marquee transfers don't come in the area where we need them the most, the di maria money is still well-spent. how can the 2 statements coexist? |
elampiro: No. He will add to our attacking bite.so if we don't get vidal or any midfielder, you would still think spending £60m on a winger is money well spent? ![]() |
elampiro: You talk of opportunity cost when there are scarce resources.so if the resources are scarce, why go for the second priority? If we didn't snap Di Maria fast, City would have bought him. Vidal deal is on. Di Maria isn't stopping that.city's transfer spend has been capped by FFP. they could never have bought di maria. bone story. ok - this is the ish. if we don't get vidal or a quality midfielder, would you agree this di maria deal is brainless? |
elampiro: Vidal is independent of Di Maria.you don't have enough wisdom! there's what you call priorities - you no do economics & opportunity cost? the one that you need the most should come first - period!!!! we need a world class midfielder the most & that should be our primary concern. di maria won't help the team go forward. he's a winger, he needs the ball from the centre of the pitch to cause havoc! |
elampiro: Watch out. We will get most of it. We sell the highest num$ber of shirts world wide or same as Madrid. Rooney use to sell highest, then RVP in 2012/13. Di Maria will boost it again now.RVP still outsold rooney last season sef! i agree di maria would sell shirts but i would rather have vidal in the team now than di maria. |
Oghos1: Spambot why me?only elampiro would advise a homeless man on the streets to spend $3,000 gift he just got on a pair of shoes. his homelessness would be sorted another day - the shoes is more important than having a roof. |
elampiro: They won a trophy.against which team? so zonal marking helped arsenal win a trophy? what about the sodömy they got in all the grounds of the top teams they faced. even moyes beat arsenal via set play. then losses like 0-6 at chelsea, 3-6 at city or was it liverpool? they conceded almost 30 goals against top teams. |
elampiro: And they had their best season in almost a decade.by finishing 4th? oh yeah - their best season indeed. |
elampiro: I don't see other EPL players running around the way we do. They are calm and just head away. We are ridiculous with our man-marking from set plays.it means you don't watch the other premier league games. even brendan rodgers have switched back to man to man marking. no system is perfect but the running jump is stronger than a player standing still to jump. valencia has never been a great header so i don't even know what he was doing in the box. elampiro: Di Maria is far better than Costa and Fabregas.fabregas is 10,000 times more intelligent than di maria. then to think we need cesc more than di maria even makes it more painful. we don't have a winger problem, what we lack is a dominant goal scoring midfielder. |
raumdeuter: By the end of this transfer season we would recalculate the NET spend of teams in Europe to understand where Man Utd stands whether they've not been buying like we were told on this threadoh shut up! you have already lost that argument. in the last 5 years, united were way behind their peers in europe whatever happens from this season to the end is a different matter entirely. don't lump 2 different events together. we never argued what happened currently - we argued what has happened in the last 5 seasons elampiro: If it's man to man and the ball falls on you, won't you do something?only liverpool under benitez did zonal marking - fergie never used zonal marking....it's man to man marking. zonal marking is rubbish. van persie has his own man to watch. the rule is pick a man & do not let him get the ball. so persie should leave his own man & track valencia's man? if the outcome results into a pin ball in the box and the ball falls for the player van persie should be marking & that player scores, who would you blame? |
chrisley024: Cos Young was the worst player today.no, he's not! rooney was the worst player today. just like against swansea, he ruined many attacking moves with his touch & zero football brain. fletcher, cleverley, smalling were all poorer than ashley young. it's surprising that young that had a shot on target was the poorest while rooney that did nothing apart from his rubbish freekick was good in your eyes. elampiro: RVP was also culpable for that goal.RVP can't be culpable - the defending wasn't zonal marking. it was man to man. valencia was designated to mark rodwell. these things are practiced during training. who to mark, whose run to track & blah blah. valencia's man scored a goal - that's valencia's fault. if it was zonal marking then 3-4 players can take the blame. |
elampiro: Some of us knew of guillem balagué yet we were confident Di Maria was still being expected. But you wouldn't listen. ITK.confident of what? like you were confident we would sign sneijder, cesc, thiago, bale, etc last season & what happened? you weren't confident, you were only hopeful. don't mix the 2 together. balagué said nothing was happening as at last week when i made that post & it was the same balagué that broke the news earlier today that a fee had been agreed. |
chrisley024: If.... If he didn't assist Mata's goalso in a nutshell, valencia made a goal & caused a conceded goal. how was he better than young then? |
elampiro: Coogar, who wrote this?you are a fool! was that not written after what guillem balagué said last week that united hadn't made any official bid for di maria? how's he fancied if we hadn't made any offer for him all summer? you have a problem with comprehension. a very big problem! coogar: •guillem balagué just confirmed now that united have made no offer whatsoever for di maria. he wants to leave real madrid cos madrid aren't prepared to raise his wages.if this post preceded what you quoted then your claim is null & void. this was balagué's comment last week regarding the transfer. |
chrisley024: Valencia did well bar the goal we conceded.and if we didn't concede that goal, what would have happened? we would have gained 2 extra points. nitlad: Why una dey pay dis kain big money for Di Maria that some fellas on this board told us would come cheap cos he already asked to leave and Madrid would be desperate to sellheard it's £52m but his add-ons are around £12m. so he gets the rest after performing or scoring an agreed number of goals. he may get it or not get it. surely, he would sell shirts & united would be stealing an adidas star for nike. it's complicated! |
Geoxpress: Lols! Coooger, mayb yeyenatu aint a female??that's for certain yeyenatu has a pair of testiclës. there are so many people here claiming a different gender. |
elampiro: Few pages back you said Gaal isn't interested in Di Maria...blablabla.you are lying..... all i said was united hadn't tendered an official bid as at then. i actually quoted guillem balagué that day. |
elampiro: My post implied what? So you now assume what I mean.i know what you mean..... * There you go again, you exonerated RVP. Na you know sha. I am never going to come here and discuss Roobey vs RVP after matches. It's of no gain to me.exonerate? how? i am saying rooney & RVP should not be criticised by the same standard. rooney is match fit with a full preseason behind him. RVP didn't kick a ball since last month in brazil. rooney should be up & running but it's obvious he's past his peak. * You claim your ways are always right but Gaal proving all your ways wrong.how did gaal prove me wrong? who said gaal won't buy di maria? i thought you have left this your art of lying cos it's been ages - are you back in the trade? |
RSAMAN: Everytime i calmn down and think to myself ''ok let me give this mmlp2 a chance and hear what everyone is raving about'' i get disappointed. I recently heard snippets of the song legacy from that album and my thoughts on it: ''commerciality on steroids'' im done thinking there could something on this album, that's it, eminem is a sell-out. If u want to hear real rap albums released in the past 12 months i'd recommend 1) sage francis - copper gone 2) blueprint - respect the architect. Stop supporting this mainstream garbage that is passed off as quality hip hop like 50 cent, eminem etc...my suggestion: take the ice bucket challenge. dry your face, get good earphones & listen to "legacy" again. thank me later! ![]() |
yeyenatu: boooo!thunder faya your incisors. gucci sunshades? you? i am surprised you even know what gucci sunshades are. |
elampawa: Rooney and RVP aren't working hard to even reach 80% of their capability. It's look somehow playing both upfront is a waste of resources because the small guys have to do the building. May be one of them should play from the wing in another formation or so. Welbeck was far more hard working. Gaal need to talk to these guys.don't use collective blame here! this is RVP's first game since holland played brazil more than a month ago. rooney had a full preseason, this was his 6th or 7th game & he still flopped like a conference league striker. rooney will never improve - he reached his peak 8 years ago. elampiro: Has it ever been anyone's opinion that Jones play in the midfield? I don't get you.that was what your post implied. and we have already concluded jones can never be a decent midfielder. he's too disillusioned to be composed & position himself to intercept. |
leggo: is this your new Mo? Login with one of your legion of accs ,report your own lameass jibes and cum here to gain cheap street cred? Coogar all this just to have a little false joy in your day... You win son.you are a fool! bring that chelseabmw here & ask him who fellatêd on him to do his mod stunts here. you were the one getting cooked, so obviously - it was either you or your wife that ran to the mods to stop the cooking you were getting. you shame your lineage - fücking püssy! so i would bring mods to hide my own posts & leave yours? common sense is a scarce commodity in your family tree - this is why you would reason like this. |
leggo: Small boy... Coogar prepare for sklyou should be ashamed of yourself. asides the fact that you are autistic, you are a snitch?? ![]() we don't bring mods into brawls....you are a squealing rat & you have lost all credibility for pulling that dümb move. elampiro: Your opinion can never represent the opinion of the club. The only time Jones drove the ball to the final 3rd today, he did well.so why didn't he play in the midfield then? my opinion doesn't represent that of the club but fletcher & cleverley were preferred in the midfield. so whose opinion was represented? yours? |
so leggo went to beg chelseabmw to hide my posts & leave his lame-aśs disses? ![]() coogar is god! my lines bring out the bïtch in grown men. people who call themselves men start a brawl, then become emotional after getting bodybagged & then run to squeal to the cops to save them. leggo, you disgrace manhood! |
elampiro: He was like this last seasob. But many people here have since concluded Jones can't be composed on the ball. He is now one of our few players who can actually run some miles with the ball, even under tight marking.yes, he can do that from the defence to the half of the pitch. he's a disaster when he's asked to do it in the final third of the pitch. smalling is a better defender than jones but jones is far more comfortable on the ball than smalling. i will still prefer smalling if an experienced defender next to him can be the dominant pair. jones will soon be sold if he doesn't specialise in one department of the team & make it his own craft. he's becoming jack of all trade, master of none! |
