alutacontinua: Coogar, what's with d difference in brain of men&women?the size is different. more white matter in one, more grey matter in the other. |
this elampiro is a clown i swear.... rooney returned against wigan as a substitute in the 56th minute. united were beating wigan 1-0 before rooney came on. he neither scored not assisted. he just jogged around & created nothing. then played against blackburn at OT....berba scored 5, rooney scored 0 goals. united's form at old trafford before rooney was almost 100%. with or without rooney, those 2 home games were sure bankers. a team that has beaten spurs at home without rooney would have taken 6 points against blackburn & wigan. up until then rooney's goal-tally in the league was 1 goal(from the penalty spot) ![]() |
how many of those rooney's goals were penalties in a game he was shyte? of course, your statistics will not reveal those. rooney scored a pen against west ham(home & away), scored a penalty against rangers & another pen against blackburn on the day united won the title. if someone else was taking those penalties - rooney's tally will be less than double-digits in a season he had more minutes than berbatov. rooney played as a centre-forward in about 5 league games that season too so how was rooney's contribution better than berbatov - scorer of 21 pure league gosls(not a single penalty in his total haul)? elampiro: Montelik, can you see the above? Any one would have thought that Rooney played only a few matches or made little or no contribution.berbatov had 32 appearances that season, rooney had 28. in cumulative minutes, berbatov had less minutes but then your fraudulent statistics of with/without did not focus on minutes. you will have to choose one between counting appearances or counting minutes Okay, before I go to the assists statistics, let's now look at when Rooney returned and when we went top. I guess this was in November.united were joint top before rooney came back. they remained top when they beat blackburn 7-1(berba got 5, rooney assisted 2) & chelsea failed to win their own game same weekend. between a striker that scored 5 & the one that assisted only 2 goals, who is the catalyst to the win? if united relied heavily on rooney, he wouldn't have come back to meet the team joint top. united should be 10th/11th if rooney was such a big miss. |
chamotex: Only 60 teams will be allowed to participate in next year's Nairaland Premier League.60 teams? too low, mate. make it 70. pity managers like debosky & dyabman who have never made the first page. it will be fun watching what ibime makes of his eroded credibility in the championship. how the mighties have fallen. ![]() |
busolayemi: D onli tin dat remains permanent in lie is change....men shd understand dat d typ of women outside nowadays are different frm 'our grandmas' age....back den, dose women do nxt to nothin other dan cook nd satisfy d men at nyt...buh these days, sum women even go out earlier dan their husbands jst to ensure dat d account balances at d end of d month....all in d interest of d family...so it beholds on d men to also change....or else like I said, its onli goin to geh worse.hmmmm, strong point but..... this is economics. when women stayed at home & men were on the streets working, his wages comfortably fed the family without starving. fast forward to today, women are encouraged to work & people became poorer. the government is not stüpid. they are now aware mr okon's N2,000 income has now become N4,000 income cos his wife now works so they generally increased the prices of commodity multiplied by 2 to prevent inflation. so mrs okon's net contribution to the family is back to zero(after taxing her). people are now poorer in spite of the 2 parents working & bringing double income. people spend more time at work, children spend more time without their parents, people spend more time to commute to work & the society's moral decadence is at it's lowest. so i ask again, who's fooling who? No sane woman will take it...to take over part of d man's duty, nd stil do her own duies 100percent....who's kidding who?? Nd pls dnt tell me its d govt cos most men outside dere understands dat no mata how little a woman's income is, it's doin its part. Not dis days wen a kindergarten pupils pays hundreds of thousands per term ....like I said, una just stat. Soon, u people will stat gettin ur aprons and goin to d kitchen...wen una neck wan long finish.....that's because the proprietor of that school knows you & your husband's monthly income is like N500,000. why won't he increase the school fees? that's the point. the more knowledge he's got about the big size of your pocket, the more charges you are going to pay. if the median monthly income of the majority of the families out there is N100,000, would any school charge you hundreds of thousands per term? who would afford those schools when 80% of the population make less than that? it's the law of demand & supply. reduce the income coming in & prices would be forced to come down. |
I totally see your point. You could even use this marvelous logic of yours in all aspects of life. This whole idea that white men and black men are equal is just as silly. Look at how black men tend to excel in sports and physical activity than white men.
how are black men excelling in sports than the white. swimming is the most strenuous sports ever & i am yet to see a black person guzzle up the medals. how have black men excelled in weight-lifting, sumo-fighting, etc? you think boxing & athletics are the only kind of sports? come on - you can do better than this. I am not sure why black men feel they should not be subjected to working the fields. This is where black men excel. They should be plowing the fields and be owned by white men who will make sure black men do what they were made to do which is be the white mans beast of burden.white men should be on the fields - they are better at weight-lifting than any black man can muster. your point is null & void. look for a better analogy. As for us lowly black women we will confined to the white man's bedroom and when he is done with us we will go back to out black husbands who dare not complain.if you are fantasising about getting rammed by a white man then save those lewd details of yours in your silly head. we are talking about the family here & not slavery or racism. Two different things cannot be equal. White men running the show and black men using their superior physical strengths in the fields is the natural order of things.my brain is the same as the white man. we have the same physical features. he does not possess 2 heads or 4 arms. he's not even more intelligent than i am. on the other hand, your brother is different from you. his brain is different, you don't have a peńis & he does not have mammary glands. apples & oranges, mate!!!!! |
montelik: This is the point Elampiro, don't writing epistles to obfuscate the point. All the rest of your megede fegede doesn't change that.elampiro is a fantasist.... in 2010/11, united did not lose a single league game with rooney absent. our first loss was in february & rooney was back in the team by then. rooney didn't take part in 10 league games that season, united won 5 of those games & drew the other 5. in the 28 league games rooney took part in, united lost to arsenal(emirates), lost to chelsea(stamford bridge), lost to liverpool(anfield) & lost at wolves. that's 4 straight losses. |
elampiro: . Your allegation that Rooney hardly took part in 2010/11 season is baseless. Rooney played more matches than Berbatov and Chicharito.no one alleged rooney didn't take part in 2010/11. i said he was missing in the first part of 2010/11, united shot to the top of the league without rooney. he was overweight & was sent to america. 2. In 2010/11 Wayne Rooney was on the start list in 25 matches. This was Man United record: won 64% of those matches, got 2.12 points per match.this is a myopic way of looking at statistics. who else did not start when rooney didn't start. what kind of opposition did we play? you said it was when rooney came back scoring we got to the first position & that claim has been reported to be false. Then Wayne Rooney was did not start 13 of our matches: This was how we performed without him: We won only 54% of those matches. So so draw, then we got 2.08 points per match.like i said, how do we know berba started when rooney didn't start? what kinda statistics is this? is this about rooney starting or rooney contributing zero when he participated in the games in the first half of the season? Now we can see how much influence he had on the team even though everyone knew SAF rested Rooney in small matches.SAF rested who? rooney played against liverpool(OT), arsenal(OT) in the first half of that season. he even managed to miss a penalty against arsenal to take the game 2-0 after nani had assisted a park header. rooney played against all the relegated teams that season. he was shyte against blackpool, shyte against blackburn & super-shyte against wolves. so who are the smaller teams that rooney was rested for? This is stage one of the argument. I will bring more facts now about their contribution in that season. We are beginning to know who was more important to us.you are have not scratched the surface. the crux is what did rooney contribute in the games he played in. your statistics highlighted the games he started, not the games he was subbed in. that's stats for you - it can produce exactly what you want it to to produce. if rooney comes on in the 50th min means he is not supposed to contribute & win us games cos he didn't start? elampiro, more eggs in your face. |
elampiro: No I am back. I am going to counter your argument. First, I have already seen that we went to the top when Rooney returned from injury. Just wait, I will tabulate my points now. Few minutes.don't embarrass yourself - leave the argument before you have more eggs pelted on your face. rooney was shyte till the new year that season. even in the games he played, he was anonymous. he played against liverpool when berba got his hatrick. rooney neither contributed a goal nor assisted a goal in that game. he couldn't be found. |
busolayemi: Nd wat makes u tink goin bak to d drawing board is onli a woman's responsibilities.....itKs only goin to get worse my dear, as long as men decide to overburden women with housechores in d name of ego....buh my own home will definetely get better....una just statmen are where men should be. na women dey look for equality where there's none. mere looking at the physique of a grown man & a woman even shows there's a difference. the brain of a man is very different to that of a woman so where's the equality? by logic, 2 different things cannot be equal. men going out to hunt & women doing the chores is the natural balance but the government want more people to pay taxes to enrich themselves so they cajoled women to come out en masse & work like slaves. |
dayokanu: Before last May Bayern have been without a trophy in germany for 2 seasons.yes, that's because you under-performed in those 2 seasons. all i am saying is bayern should be winning every competition in germany by default. you have the best squad, the best manager, the richest off/on the pitch. seriously, what's the excuse? |
dayokanu: What does shyting over the Allianz mean in the grand scheme of things?na you go first win treble? treble in bundesliga is next to shyte. it's like winning the capital one cup in england. all you have to do more or less is to win the CL - bundesliga & the other competition are bayern's birthright by default unless they self-destruct. |
elampiro: I am not disposed to argue about the 2010/11 season now. See you guys at night.cos you have lost the argument - that's why you are not disposed to argue it. ![]() www.nairaland.com/attachments/1461345_image_jpg0d5b1c4c7f720f698946c7f6ab08f687 www.nairaland.com/attachments/1461346_image_jpg0d5b1c4c7f720f698946c7f6ab08f687 If we didn't lose any match from May till Feb, cool, but it doesn't mean we were on top of thje league before Rooney arrived.we were on top of the table. berbatov was blazing that season. even dayokanu(berba's biggest hater) ate back his vomitus that season. by GW14, united were tied on points, by GW15, united were on top. www.nairaland.com/attachments/1461356_image_jpg0d5b1c4c7f720f698946c7f6ab08f687 See you guys at night, hopefully. I know too that was the season Berba scored against few teams, and bottom teams for that matter.if rooney had scored against all the bottom teams he's faced this season, we would be on top of the table as we speak. |
guymega: What's gonna be the result after someone must have gotten hit by another under the influence of marijuana? Laws should protect the people as opposed to killing the people. Short sited law makers.taking it is legal, abusing it is illegal. there's drug use & there's drug abuse. what's gonna happen after someone must have gotten hit by another under the influence of alcohol? should alcohol be banned too? |
StarBoard: We lost to Wolves at molineux.that was how i remembered that season too. we win a game, we draw the other. everton(away) & fulham(away) were particularly painful. we kept dropping points from a winning position in the first 14 games. StarBoard: and the same hapless English sides will still come and shyte all over your Allianz arena.he's just saving face - he agreed last night the performance of his team was shameful. |
elampiro: By virtue of some kind of players being on the pitch, the game is half won. He may not have scored or assised, but his overall contribution is always commendable. I guess that was the season he scored that beautiful bicycle kick against City.what kind of players? ![]() the first game united lost that season was against wolves in february. united took care of business in rooney's absence so i fail to see how he can be credited to have contributed anything. RVP coming into our game yesterday change so much. Having two deadly men on is a big threat to opponents. Look at Iniester, few goals and assists but his presence is a master key.which presence? did united lose any game in rooney's absence or did rooney's spirit influence the games back then? elampiro: What was United position before Rooney returned. There are some players, they might not be scoring, but their presence on the pitch is a master key. Rooney has always been such. Even in Ronaldo days, our results were poor whenever Rooney stated the season with injury.united were tied on points with the league leaders(chelsea). chelsea had a better +GD. so if rooney didn't contribute goals, how's it to his credit that united got to the top?. |
StarBoard: No.he seems to have forgotten some of us still remember that season like the back of our hands. we didn't even lose a game until february against one shitty team - united almost did an unbeaten run & berba/chicha had an outstanding first half of the season(without rooney) |
elampiro: I could remember than season. Without Rooney we were somewhere 2nd or 3rd on the table. When he returned we shot our way to the top of the league in December and remained there till the end. I guess he even had plenty of matches than more than you are making us to believe here. Probably more matches than either or both of Chicha and Berba.that's a lie. rooney's first goal from open play that season was against west brom on january 1st of 2011. before then he scored a penalty against west ham in august(3rd league match of the season). united were on top of the table by end of november & rooney was nowhere contributing anything by then. rooney's first contribution that season after coming back from america was his assist on boxing day(dec 26), united had gotten to the top of the table by GW15(nov 27) |
a very good move.... now undergraduates can walk up to a pharmacy & get their quality substance instead of buying contaminated stuff that kills them on the streets. the rest of the world should follow suit. marijuana is medicinal GustavoFring: They need to Legalise this law here in the UK.it was downgraded to class C between 2004 & 2009. possession of low quantity for use cannot lead to an arrest but distributing it could lead to an arrest then it was later upgraded to a class B drug. |
this is a very difficult period for dayo. he's asked me to tell you guys to take it easy on him. he's mourning the sudden death of bayern(league leaders) in the hands of man city(4th on the table). ![]() |
debosky: ^^ too arbitrary. What if no one makes the cut? Or if only 2 get relegated? It needs to be based on final standings on the table.anyone below 50th position relegates. if there's a tie then the points on the last day of the season will determine who makes the cut. if there's another tie, the points on the first day of the season will be used. if there's another tie - i would organise a traditional wrestling in the mud. |
dayokanu: Even in a dead rubber game you can put in shameful performances especially when you switch off after going 2-0 aheadso you agree that you posted bayern's performance was shameful last night? this is I ask again what was gained from the game? We topped the group, we already broke the UEFA record. So whats the point of wasting energy on an inconsequential game.it was clear as daylight man city & bayern had qualified from that group before last night's game. city needed to beat bayern by a five goal margin to top the group & that can never happen. so the game is as much a dead rubber to bayern as it was to city & this is why city sent their 2nd team to do the business. they brought down the allianz arena, again.....no excuse, you got it right when you said bayern were shameful. Assuming City topped the group or stopped us from making the record at Etihad in October then we can acknowledge the effort not this useless game to just warm up ahead of other thingsthis is double-speak! you told us already bayern's performance was shameful & disgraceful. why won't we acknowledge city's effort? is it everyday you see bayern get beaten by a second team from england? it wasn't a friendly match judging by the team guardiola rolled out & the record he was protecting. |
alutacontinua: Last episode washuck is a lunatic. how can he do that to his best friend, more so a woman? cyrus is comedy central & olivia's mum is a criminal. |
debosky: Nani is not 28 - he still has longer to go in his career so that's a poor comparison.you are such a twit! nani is too young to move, carrick is too old to move but rooney who is between them can move, right? what's the difference between 27(nani) & 28(rooney)? The fact is that without Rooney y'all would be fighting for places with Norwich. Moyes will not sell Rooney in January, even if he is offered £80m.with rooney, we are 9th on the table. without rooney we would be 1st/2nd. without him for most of 10/11 season, we won the league. lesser mortals like chicharito & berbatov delivered the title on a plate. rooney is an overrated piece of garbage. |
debosky: ^^ How old is Carrick? At 32 he is looking for long term security so it's not surprising he signed a new deal. Rooney is in a different place.now it's about age? how old is nani or would you say nani has no ambition? all the players wenger signed or extended their contract for 8 years without a title must have no ambition. Rooney at 28 is probably on the verge of signing his last big contract, just like RVP when he was at Arsenal - this isn't the time to be sentimental or rush into signing just any deal.he can fück off..... we have RVP now. before RVP, he could dilly-dally with his contract & have everyone worrying but times have changed now. he should leave in january asap & let united use his fees to secure better strikers with less adipose cells. |
busolayemi: I am a married woman...and I av cum to understand dat submission without an unconditional love on d part of d hubby is 100percent impossible...unless u r married to a 17th century woman...woman who doesn't kno wat she carries in d inside of her. No one says an educated woman shd disregard d hubby, buh my point, women are getting wiser by d day...nd d little tins dat neva mattered to our mothers now matter to us jst like d little tins dat neva mattered to our fathers nao matter to our hubby. A WOMAN DOES NOT GET TO DO THE WHOLE HOUSEWORK while d man fondles with tabs and iphones....it doesn't work dat way. I respect my husband and submit to him as much as he shows he love me nd I cum first. If u feel helping a woman out with housechores is sumtin dt brings down ur ego...den pls, wen ur wife stat actin up....she's hasn't committed a crime. Especially in homes where financial responsibilities are shared whc unfortunately is d case in most home....perhaps this point is the reason the rate of divorce in africa especially nigeria has skyrocketed. it's impossible to have it both ways without something breaking & precious children are the primary victims of divorce. so while women are being selfish & fighting for a non-existent equality, more children are growing up with single fathers/mothers. maybe when the nigerian society gets rotten to the point where we now breed our own serial killers like the west, women would go back to their drawing board & do the needful. i would be resting on the bosom of abraham by then. ![]() |
debosky: Which rational player (except Nani due to the pay rise he wanted) would sign a new deal with Utd at the moment?what a disgraceful thing to say. carrick(the most important player in the squad) also extended his contract this season, was it because he wanted a pay rise as well? this is exactly why i said getting rid of rooney was our best option in the summer. this news is going to affect the mood in the squad again just when they needed to focus & improve their performance. |
Please, am sure gunner's fan believed that BS when he sold it to them before "the little boy in him" conveniently chose united over Arsenal besides am sure the story is false but this is how this transfers start. Also Barca payed a lot for players in their late 20's 37mill for a 30yrs old RVP isn't bad
arsenal didn't match his ambition. he was with them for 7 seasons & wenger kept buying mediocres. he's going to be 30 & he felt the time has come to seek his dreams elsewhere. only deluded arsenal fans blame van persie. you won't find any man utd fan that will blame ronaldo for seeking his ambition in spain - he said it has always been his dream to wear madrid's shirt - so be it. |
Rooney rejects united's contract advances. Mtchew. Just when I was trying not to dislike him anymore. He's probably just waiting for utd to finish outside top4 so that he can force a move with a year left on his contract
rooney rejects united's contract? lololololi don't want to believe this just yet. oghos must be pulling my legs with this one. rooney, the prince of old trafford rejects united's offer? how can that be? Btw this is oghos1. I'll be using dis moniker until I'm freed by spambot probablyyou shouldn't stay banned if it's spambot - report to the mods & they will unshackle your username.
I read barca is offering 37mill for RVP. the vultures are circling and it isn't like RVP is the most loyal player. I hope we take the money and hopefully rooney stays the presence of rooney and RVP in our squad is doing more harm than good.
nice piece of logic there.... sell the striker that wants to end his career at man utd & retain the fat scouser that is doing his best to leave united? |
EPL vs Bundesliga Schalke 0 - 3 Chelsea Dortmund 0 - 1 Arsenal. Leverkusen 0 - 5 Man Utd Bayern Munich 2 - 3 Man City. this is brutal äss-räping! dayokanu: What did the result change today? dayokanu: End of the match Shameful performancesomehow i can't seem to figure out those 2 contrasting statements. if it's a dead-rubber game, why is the performance shameful to you? city destroyed you on your home soil with their 2nd team & you are saving face instead of you to find the quietest corner in your house & wail. |
lynk106: ^ the definition was for a careerist. It applies to men and women. In fact, it applies more to men since men are more guilty of it.you don't have enough wisdom....refer back to the first page. i said career women are to be avoided by family oriented men. no one is talking about careerist here. the focus is on career women! There are value oriented men and women who balance work and home life. and there are the careerist men (and women) who probably are those who neglect their children, spouse, family, friends and even their own health and happiness or values to pursue career goals. Again, by sheer number, men are more guilty of this than women. Just that society makes it ok for men to be absent from their family and condemns women more harshly for the same thing. an absent mother is no worse than an absent father.the society did not make anything ok for the men. even hardline feminists want their husbands to be the breadwinner. men prefer to be the breadwinner. for him to be the breadwinner, he must work to take care of his family. he cannot get pregnant & he doesn't brëastfeed. so I don't understand why you choose to apply your stupid definition just to women. I call it stupid because you assume that anyone who is not a careerist must be jobless man or stay-at-home woman. You misinterpreted the FT "definition." Use your critical thinking skills next time. Even if you find a definition on one website, check other sites (including the dictionary) to verify what you see and to understand the meaning.your IQ must be in a single digit. financial times described her as a woman who believes that her career is more important than finding a husband or having children. collins & cambridge dictionaries also had their say on the matter. your own dictionary defined careerist, not a career woman. my posts were about career women so what's with you & distorting facts? seriously, where's the misinterpretation. it's clearly written there. from the word go, my submission has been family oriented men should avoid career women. stop twisting the argument to careerists. you can tell your fellow women that are family-oriented as well to avoid career men. ![]() anyway, if you don't want to marry a careerist, no one is putting a gun to your head. Who cares. many of them (men AND women) probably don't even care for marriage for the time being.i don't want a career woman. the type that will do anything at the expense of her integrity. the type that is not really interested in having children & she's unhappy with her kids. However, you are disingenuous when you promote the idea that any woman who is not a stay at home mom is a bad mother, bad wife and other 18th century nonsense you are spouting. majority of women with careers are also good mothers and wives. same goes for majority of men with careers.of course, some people can cope with both roles but that doesn't make it ideal. that i can cope walking 5 miles to office does not make it thriving. this is one thing you "liberated" women cannot understand. you are just a capitalist slave. mothers who abandon their newborns for hired hands because of their career are bad mothers. reminds me of the story of this guy. certainly a careerist. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2398415/Moritz-Erhardt-dies-High-flying-bank-intern-died-working-crazy-hours-written-huge-pressure-succeed.htmlrubbish! he's not a family man(no wife & no kids). in case you have lost focus on what the argument is about - we are talking about career & family. what's it gotta do with a student? this was how you tried to veer off tangent by producing a statistics that had nothing to do with career women to score a point. if you don't have enough knowledge about this issue - stop replying!!! |
