Ibime:elokobi is not a fast runner - but i have been told he's the fittest player in the premier league! |
Ibime:so it's no longer about the creativity - it's not about being fit like butcher's dogs? ![]() ibime, if y'all are looking for fit players, y'all can easily buy elokobi, diame, tiote, etc. i am those ones cover 20km per game. Lampard has also covered 107,596 metres of ground for Chelsea so far this season, averaging an impressive 115.82 metres per minute. Only Ashley Cole has covered more ground, but the full back has played more games so his metres per minute ranking of 114.77 metres remains below Lampard’s.ibime - i am not concerned about what bosingwa is doing at the back. chelsea aren't onion bags in the defence. it's the conversion rate of the strikers that villas-boas is worried about. why are chelsea playing so well and drawing/losing games they should be winning easily? they have a £50m striker who is not pulling his weight because the supporting cast is lop-sided. villas-boas' first priority is to bring the best out of torres - this is why lampard's role is very crucial. if lampard fails to deliver the required passes to bring out the best of the strikers, points get dropped and chelsea would drop ranks on the league table. |
what's the meaning of eze ndi igbo? |
welcome back, asiwaju tinubu. may the gods shrivel the cocks of all your enemies. but without you, obasanjo the obnoxious pig and his pdp goons would have sold lagos to the mallams. |
Ibime:the fact remains lampard is no longer what he used to be. at best, lampard should be coming on inspired from the bench. read the game(cos he's quite intelligent) and add meaningful contribution to the team. the energy expended in the last 10-20 mins should be good enough to coast chelsea to victory. Lamps performance this calendar year stands at 19 goals (3 pens) and 15 assists and still covering the same amount of ground per game (12km)how many games has he played this year? The only reason you're making arguments against him is cos you wanna see 4-2-3-1, and even still, Lamps will easily slot into the 2.because 4-2-3-1 will play to the strengths of your £50m striker. if you shell £50m on any striker, then you should play to his strength. if you do not, the media would heap blame and pressure on the shoulders of that £50m striker and his confidence would be shot to bits which can also infect the whole team. torres is 27, lampard is 33. i know what fergie would have done. Trust me, there's no competition from any of Chelsea central midfielders right now except for media lambasting Chelsea old players. Simples!mata has shown he's the new midfield general. telling me there's no competition from any of your midfielders is telling porkies. against newcastle mata: 37/38 pass completion( lamps: 28/37 pass completion, 2 scoring attempts, 1 attempt created, 0 assist in 61 minutes. i accept mata played more minutes to have created more scoring attempts, etc but did you see that passing statistics? is mata xavi in disguise? --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- this season so far. . . . . juan mata: 3 goals, 7 assists, 28 key passes, 485/564 pass completion, 869 minutes frank lamps: 6 goals, 4 assists, 26 key passes, 629/745 pass completion, 1026 minutes david silva: 4 goals, 8 assists, 33 key passes, 716/817 pass completion, 1095 minutes. ibime, numbers don't lie. . . . . .there's a new midfield general in the land, he's called juan mata! the much talked about silva and lampard are sheriffs! ![]() mykali:ferreira is not complaining - he's a good squad player. he understands he's now old and there are better defenders that can play in his position. anelka/lampard are struggling to accept that fact! |
Ibime:well. . . . . .lampard is protected by the mafia/media. . . . .anelka isn't! |
Ibime:why hasn't mikel obi submitted his own transfer request? turnbull? hilario? anelka is an arrogrant twit - matter of fact, french players are often rebellious. that anelka opined he is no longer a part of chelsea's future is his problem. villas-boas never mentioned that in any of his comments. it was anelka's perception. |
Shouldn't you be there praising your god instead of hanging on nairaland?
try and space out the texts when you make topics. i know you copy and paste them but at least make them readable. put paragraphs instead of mumbling everything together! what you just posted is an eye sore, please edit! |
nateevs:don't mind ibime - his interpretation of events makes you wonder whether the guy has actually been to school. had lampard accepted to be a bench warmer, anelka's role in the team would have been permanent. he would be playing on the left side of the attack. mata would then be in lampard's role(flanked/supported by ramirez/romeu/mikel/meireles) |
Derby draw Yes, I agree Carrick has been excellent lately. Would be interesting to see him and cleverly partnership if he keeps up this form. I have to say I have not been impressed with Ashley Young at all. Will give him time. We really cannot afford anymore injuries to the squad though.
i have been impressed with him. yes - he's not really in that early season form but he is a tireless worker. valencia is the player i hate the most these days. he's a very limited player. fergie should play him on the left flank as an inverted winger. let him learn to use his left foot - if he cannot, at least that would force him to cut in and cross - instead of always running to the byeline before he can cross. |
Effiko:jupiter's cock! --perfect! i got my wish. if dem born fergie well, let him take a half-baked team to manchester city in january. montelik:rooney has now become the worst passer in the team. it's a disgrace he didn't release the ball early and he allowed welbeck to drift offside before doing it. even his ball control has now left him. his first touch is horrendous - he's now back to the form he was last year when he couldn't score from open play. carrick was yet magnificent again last night. simple passes, he pressed well and his usage of possession was fantastic. nani was hit n miss but i can understand cos he played as a central forward when hernandez got crocked. ashley young did ok, valencia is a disgrace(i think he's unfit, he's lost a yard of pace and he is scared of injury)! |
Ibime:ye more backward reasoning. . . . it was anelka and alex that submitted a transfer request - villas-boas did not chase them out of the club. they had a wish and the wish was granted. how about malouda, ferreira, kalou and bosingwa? you conveniently omitted lampard. what's the point of lampard in that team? should luiz or terry get injured, ivanovic would be drafted as a centre-back. bosingwa would take his role as right back. essien is also about to recover from his injury. essien can play as a right back or a centre-half! i accept anelka should be starting games - but lampard is also indirectly the reason anelka can't start. the fat one has refused to admit he's no longer useful to the team. he then takes mata's position. mata has now taken anelka's position upfront. geddddit? and since we all know the media's tongue rests permanently on lampard's scrotum, then anelka has to be the sacrificial lamb! |
Elizadath:may the gods shrivel your cöck! |
AjanleKoko:go f@ck yourself, you hyena-poking dog!!! ![]() |
That was stupidly dull. Shame as i thought we played well against Newcastle and Benfica. Obviously the injuries/lack of consistent team selection isnt helping but we really need to pick up our level for the festive period. Vidic and Carrick very good. Still no goals for Rooney is very worrying really. Atleast our away form is good.
that's the way fergie wants them to play i think. approach the league games away from home like we play in those away nights in european games! at least, no one is mocking the defence now! |
nateevs:good news. . . . .it means roman must buy in january. go to serbia, get pitbull defenders! buy demba ba as well. ![]() |
nateevs:beat valencia and beat city - all shall be forgiven! |
nateevs:i think he sensed newcastle were done n dusted. they had lost all their centre-backs so villas-boas musta felt even if they score, chelsea would still have had enough chances to score 2 or 3. with coloccini on the pitch, drogba wouldn't have scored a free header. |
ronkebp:send your car to nigeria. . . . ![]() when mr obuh's done with it, have it sent back to you. ![]() |
Ibime:you are a big oaf. i will increase the letters and call you a buffoon! i need a striker that gets a chance and either scores or assists from the chance. not shoot at sight at all times attitude like sturridge. he would never be a world class player with such idiotic mentality. Sturridge is second only to Van Persie in this calendar year so save comparisons.van nistelrooy had a better record, he won nothing in europe despite winning 3 champions league golden boots in 5 seasons. you can now see how idiotic your argument is. are you bothered about the goalscoring feats of a striker or what chelsea win collectively as a team? Studge woulda copped an assist as well has Fat Frank converted the pen, besides Studge creates tonnes of chances for himself whilst Torres waits for "fast midfielders", "Spanish voices in the dressing room" and all sorts.yes, he creates tonnes of chances for himself by being selfish. on another day, newcastle had 3 chances that the bar saved. on another day, it could have been 3-3. then what would ibime have done? call villas-boas the portugese kevin keegan. you better donate your brains to a higher animal like a mammal. it's a waste in that fat head of yours! |
dayokanu:why didn't sturridge score from better chances. . . .1 v 1 chances he had. newcastle have one of the best defence in the league. you saw their game against united last weekend. they defend and throw themselves at shots on target more than any team in the league. torres' first shot got blocked but he's still intelligent enough to find kalou at the edge of the box - that's intelligence and that move killed newcastle's morale. |
dayokanu:what a pathetic oaf. . . .torres had a free 20 yard run in which the defender stayed with him. his shot got blocked and he still held possession. then he did what most strikers wouldn't have done. . . .he looked up, found a player in a better position and passed to him. that is no longer "i want all the glory" move. that's for the good of the team. sturridge would have attempted a second shot even though his chances of scoring is nil. if you cannot see the difference in the mentality in both strikers then pack it up. one thing is clear - torres made chelsea breathe easier in the final few minutes. nateevs:dayo is an abstemious oaf! if that was torres, he would go on a dickwaving contest for months! |
dayo, what can you say about the assist from torres? if that was sturridge, he would attempt a second shot. that's the difference. there are strikers who play for the good of the team, there are strikers who just want all the glory to themselves. hahaha - sturridge scores after 7 chances. useless striker. i would bench him for 3 games. the moment he cuts in, he shoots at goal. |
dayo, what can you say about the assist from torres? if that was sturridge, he would attempt a second shot. that's the difference. there are strikers who play for the good of the team, there are strikers who just want all the glory to themselves. |
dayokanu:he is not! torres passes the ball instead of blind-shots like sturridge and co. if torres knows he's not in a good position to shoot - he would pass it. sturridge shoots the moment he sights goal and he gets lucky once in a blue moon. dayo, you are not blind. torres has been on the pitch for 9 mins now - he got an assist! that's what i am talking about!!! |
sturridge is such a wasteful striker! |
dayokanu:what's his reason for benching anelka? sturridge is better than nicholas? sometimes you spew so much shyte, you should be a sceptic tank! nateevs:tuesday on his mind! meanwhile, did you get the links i sent to your email? |
but this 1 goal lead is dangerous. general mata going off! what a player! |
dayokanu:and you don't make logical gaffes? you have never made gaffes before? torres would have scored goals in this game if he had started. . . . .bread and butter for him! nateevs:an oaf of a player. did nothing for 1 hour with his fat arse! ibime would have you thinking he's the best at chelsea. if he had scored that penalty, ibime would use the statistic to have a go at torres. "lampard is our highest goal scorer and blah blah blah", why wouldn't he be when he takes all the set-pieces? the earlier villas-boas bins him, the better. mata has so much to give from the central position. |
dayokanu:nateevs is better than you on matters pertaining to this thread. you and ibime are mentally-corrupted when it comes to posting with an agenda! juan mata is such an intelligent player. . . . .man of the match for me! |
