Hehehehe.

I love how Ibime loves to twist issues. We did not sit back and catch their high line.
We were forced to sit because they had better ball holders than us. Open eye man!

AVB will never sit back and catch people on the break. Something he even confirmed in the interview yesterday.
He said we would play with the same mentality, possession football, we won't play the long ball and 'we won't play counter attacking football'.
Go listen to the interview and stop clutching at straws.

Valencia forced us to defend deep. We pressed and capitalised on their mistakes.
Sorry, the setup you have been advocating for eons is not coming any soon.
don't mind ibime - he thinks he's in ikpulu creeks where he would use long-winded paragraphs to bamboozle his audience.
what sitting back is he talking about? chelsea did not sit at all. they played like they have always played - but they converted their chances better.

unlike the games they lost to arsenal and liverpool. goals change games.
the early goal really helped and kudos to drogba for burying his chance. everything became much easier then. . . .valencia tried to force it and that left them exposed at the back.

ibime wants to turn that single turn of events into mourinho's tactics and albert einstein's calculus.
we are lucky ibime is a professional with a good pay. had he ventured into 419, he would have used this verbose bullying tactics to dazzle his victims and sell nigeria to vietnam!

No high line my friend.
Even our full back stayed put.

Compare it to that nonsense we used to play.
We're not suited for all that high line jargon.

Even JT said it in the post match interview that they changed tactics for this game.
you don't understand football.

what was terry's position when drogba was about putting the ball into the net for the 3rd goal?
i am sure he was standing close to the centre circle.

had drogba missed with valencia counter-attacking, chelsea would have been caught.
the high-line defensive mechanism is being mis-read by you lots.

bro, the fact that he has a baby is irrelevant. look at it this way: if you were married with a great lady, you guys have a kid and suddenly she cant cope and starts to act crazy (postnatal depression), or she just starts to fukc around after the marriage blues is over. so, eventually you divorce her, would that make you an irresponsible man for the rest of your life?!
it's not irrelevant - matter of fact, it's the single most important reason the op's mother does not want her daughter to marry the dude.
if i was married with a great lady and she suffers post-natal depression and the marriage blues are over, then i remain single. . . . .and if i must re-marry, i must clean up my own acts now so that the only flaw/blemish i would have is the 1st marriage.

but this dude has more than a blemish.
he's a baby-father at 25. staying with another babe cos of his papers and he still wants to be with another babe.
would you let a female friend of yours put her in head in such a relationship? let's be realistic for once.

also, you Were Intimate with a damsel, condom broke, she got pregnant and she kept the baby (since she was against abortion), should that ALSO make you an irresponsible man for the rest of your life (even though you are caring FULLY for that kid)? .
don't get caught in the plague.
my condom can never break sleeping with a damsel. never ever.
when guys make such excuses - it's because they are irresponsible. using "used" condoms, using expired condoms or not wearing it the right way.
who should i blame for such? the condom company?

no no, i am just saying that it is "POSSIBLE" that he could live with her simply for the papers. is it not?! does "loving to party" or being Nigerian automatically means that he is fukcing the gal he is living with?!
the dude is irresponsible.
mind - i make deductions from what i have read on here - and if what the original poster has said is accurate - the dude is irresponsible.

bro, many of these desperate broke gals this days are willingly marrying 9ja men for MONEY and have no contact with these guys. they just live together to make sure it looks real for immigration. i am not saying that this is what is happening here, i am just saying that it is "POSSIBLE".
i don't see how it's quite possible for a couple of opposite sexes can live together in the same house without sex.
the lady is his ex. they have done it before. okafor's law must take charge. the dude is irresponsible.

when a man has so many blemishes - i give up on him. a babyfather should always endeavour other aspects of his life are straight!
straight as a ruler!!!

Common mate, make we cry?  grin

Yes, AVB still doesn't know what he is doing.
Why did he abandon his high line nonsense for this game?
he did not abandon his high-line. . . .

it's just that when chelsea went forward this time, they scored so they were not really vulnerable to counter attacks.
in the games chelsea lost, when you went forward, you guys couldn't convert most of the chances, the opponents broke and they countered.
the idea is to score from the chances you created. once a goal pops in - the opponents can't counter, can they?

What happened to the shape keeper? DROGBA has silenced you all.
The problem with Chelsea is fernando torres
the problem with chelsea is lampard's position. . . .
----------------------------------------------------------

--------back five-------

----ramirez-----mikel----

sturridge---mata---malouda

-----------torres-------

if you leave mata there behind torres, he would sort the spaniard out.
torres would score plenty of goals.

Which was the other game Lampard was benched?
chelsea were out of sorts until lampard was subbed against newcastle.
the moment he left - goals kept pouring in few seconds later . . .

nateevs:
Please don't try to convince them. When dude starts to slam in goals, they will chill.
Meanwhile 2 weeks ago, some were saying AVB didn't know what he was doing.
Now they are sahring in the happiness. . .

Chelsea through jor! Roll on Boas!
hahaha, i remember ibime calling him portugese kevin keegan!
you would know ibime silently wished chelsea lost tonight so he can weigh heavy on his ill-advised theory.

2 weeks ago, they all stood on his neck that he's not ripe enough when it was obvious there was nothing wrong with his system.
chelsea are livelier - it was the chance conversion rate that was lacking - nothing to do with the way villas-boas set the team.

hopefully, dayokanu and ibime will now get it. i really hope they do.

what has anything got to do with being responsible?! so a responsible man cannot have a child and then divorce/break up?!
the genesis of irresponsibility.
if a man cannot take control of his home - then he's irresponsible.
he's only 27 now. . . . .maybe he had the baby at 21. so when did he marry? put one n one together. the dude is irresponsible.

let's be realistic here, yes living with a woman is wrong BUT, unless we can CONFIRM that she is his gf, we cant blame the guy yet. it could be some paper arrangement like there are many all over the world.

So what? So if a player wants to leave he should be excommunicated? Bendtner was talking about leaving for a while but was still playing and training with the first team.
apples and oranges - arsenal need every player in their squad.
the squad is thin and often ravaged by injuries.

That's not the point - the point is a coach shouldn't treat players like lepers simply for handing in a transfer request. Kolo handed in a transfer request but it was rejected - he was never sent away from the fold till he eventually left.
kolo was a valuable member of the team - same as nasri.
in all honesty, i think alex's current form is better than john terry and david luiz.

luiz gets playing time because he suits villas-boas high line defensive mechanism and the amount of money spent on him. john terry is . . . . .john terry. you cannot bench him. someone has to be the sacrificial lamb.

Mmuo Okija:
Press Briefing by Legal Counsel to the PROGRESS 2012 Campaign Team.

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, Ndi Igbo and Non Igbos alike,

Events of the past few days have indeed threatened the unity, intergrity, peace and accord of the Igbo people. Everybody has sat by and watched as a few unscrupulous and shady elements have hijacked and manipulated the electoral system in a bid to impose a puppet Eze Ndi Igbo on the Igbo people and thus manipulate him to achieve their selfish goals. It is even sadder to watch how they have at their convenience manipulated, changed and interpreted the rules governing the nomination to suit them. It is shameful to see how they speak from both sides of their mouth and deny it when queried. Our candidate Ogbuefi Nna Nyelu Ugo 1 of Nairaland, Chief, Engineer, Eze Mmuo Okija_JujuTM had severally screamed and pointed to this gross malpractice and even went as far as demending that an Election Tribunal be set-up to address the grieviance of the Candidates, but the Mafia through their agent (who also doubled as the election commissioner) refused to set up such a comittee. It is no surprise to us as to how things turned out in the end. The rigging was so callous it wasnt even scientific in nature and could have been easily spotted by a kindergartener.

Since we the Progress 2012 campaign team and other aggrieved persons who have been cheated out of our right to be voted for have no court to run to nor tribunal to seek redress at, we hereby bring our case to the court of public opinion and the igbo people in general to see for themselves and judge if this is the process by which we want to pick our leader.

I shall be presenting evidence to prove that not only was their mass rigging, but also that there were reported cases of double and even triple voting, rules that were ignored to suit the selfish plans of the Biafran Mafia (opposition), evidence pointing to the bias nature of the electoral commisioner and his coy tactics of making inflammatory and snide comments to instigate the voters against my client and the
Progress 2012 Campaign team.

Although my client and candidate of the Progress 2012 campaign team Ichie Okija_jujuTM has refused to take up this matter in the court of law, I find it prudent to make sure that the general voting Igbo public understand fully the situation on ground before they choose a wolf in sheeps disguise to be their leader. The following are the evidences to support our claims;

Exhibit 1. - This points to the fact that even before our candidate "Ichie EzeMmuo Alusi OkijaTM" entered the political scene, the electoral commisioner had a pre-existing bias towards him and had even started launching a campaign of Calumny against his person, thus hindering his chances of getting a fair acceptance by the voters.

Exhibit 2. - Shows evidence that one of the nominees (Ezeuche) had several complaints against him that were convieniently ignored by the electoral commisioner for his selfish reason, and also because his 3rd daughters wedding was sponsored by Ezeuche's company [eze spare parts limited].

Exhibit 3. - Shows the lousy excuse given by the selectoral electoral commisioner as to why he couldnt disqualify Ezeuche. Yet the same reason was used to disqualify the Progress 2012 Candidate in the end.

Exhibit 4. - Shows more evidence why Ezeuche should have been disqualified from the very start, yet ignored due to a phantom rule that was introduced from out of the blues.

Exhibit 5. - Shows one of the delegates (KC3000) making a mockery of the entire electoral process, which was written in the by-laws as a grounds for dis-crediting his votes. Yet despite this, the selectoral commissioner went ahed and ackonwledged his nominations, yet discrediting the votes of some of the delegates who voted for the PROGRESS 2012 Candidate using the same rule. Double standards.

Exhibit 6. - Shows that alot of allegations of double nominations where made by delegates and election observers alike that were never addressed by the selectoral commisioner.

Exhibit 7. - Points to one of the delegates (Lailawaliaslala [whose name sounds like a northern Boko Haram trained suicide bomber by the way]) supporting the short-circuiting of the rules to suit the desire of the mafia.

Exhibit 8. - This is strong evidence pointing to the bias nature of PointB the resident electoral commissioner who disqualified the PROGRESS 2012 candidate on his own prejudice even before he joined the race properly.

Exhibit 9. - Shows the electoral commisioner admiting bias. Yet he failed to step down from his position and went ahead to conduct the worst primaries in the history of democracy.

Exhibit 10. - Shows one of the delegates (Ifyalways) making a mockery of the elctions, calling those who took it serious (basically the entire Igbo nation) a joke. Which is solid grounds for her disqualification according to the bylaws, but this was convieniently ignored by the electoral commisioner because his first son is engaged to her daughter.

Exhibit 11. - Shows the electoral commisioner making subtle infalmmatory comments against the Progress 2012 candidate, thus planting the seed of malice in the heart of the voters towards him.

Exhibit 12. - Shows initial results as published by the electoral commisioner as at the close of nominations yesterday, putting the Progress 2012 candidate firmly in contention for the Title of Eze Ndi Igbo 1 of Nairaland.

Exhibit 13. - Shows the new results published this morning by the Selectoral commissioner after he recieved a cheque from the other nominees and a truck load of indian pros'titutes and alcohol.

I hope you all (Ndi Igbo) can see how these elections have been controlled by the mafia. I leave the verdict in the hands of our Umunna and Umunne (s).

Lets come together and kick out these wicked politicians from our midst as they can never bring our people the progress we desparately need. The world is watching us, our eneies are also watching. More eveidence can be provided should this case ever get to a court of law or a tribunal, where I Hon. Mmuo Okija Esq. SAN shall be representing the Progress 2012 Campaign team pro-bono.

I rest my case for now.

debosky:
How can you show determination when the coach tells you to empty out your locker, never enter the building when the first team is there and go park in the visitors' parking lot? Even Berba never had that done to him, he was simply rotated and left out of match day sides.

That's just AVB trying to flex his muscles to show he's in charge - a player can't do anything if the coach treats him like that.
something must have happened before the relationship broke down to that level. you just don't tell a player to empty out his locker and stuff.
truth is, anelka is an arrogant twit - i will not buy that story from him.
