AVB definitely wants those guys out - if he didn't, why the humiliation of not training with the first team or even being in the building while they are there?

There are others allegedly open to transfers as well but haven't been excommunicated in a similar manner.
what about showing a bit of determination to stay and playing one's self back into the first team.
this is why berbatov is the most outstanding professional footballer in europe. go and read his comments in spite of how ferguson has treated him like shyte sometimes. . . .

playing for clubs like chelsea, man utd, arsenal, etc is a privilege for these prima donna players.
they owe the club and the fans that gratitude not behaving like punks and sending transfer requests.
they can f@ck off. players will come and go - the club shall remain forever!
@ jarkbauer : I love your innovative solution to your health problem and the traffic.

Everyone may not do the same thing to achieve result. But in Nigeria, everyone is trying to do same thing to achieve success. We need to think outside the box, and see the big picture.

Standing out of the crowd is my own personal way of life. I do things in my own way to achieve a set goal. While renovating my house, most people (Bricklayer and Electrician) that work for me did not understand me when I gave order of how I want my house and wiring design to be done. They claimed it has never been done like that before! but 11 months now, I have never experience a power failure. My own way of making sure, PHCN wahala is out of life, more so my generator is now redundant, a mighty cost-saving on my fuel consumption.

I believe if each and everyone is coming out with a practical solutions, we need to appreciate them, little drops of water make a might ocean.
how did you go about this? you connected a wire from ghana to your house?
no power failure in 11 months? nigeria?

Siena:
Wow. I thought I was one of the only members old enough to remember that rule, odd and even numbers, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Then Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The only issue with Nigerians, is the blatant refusal to obey any local regulations. They got round the even-odd number rule by simply bying a second car, so they ended up with cars for all days of the week. More cars, more chaos.
let congestion charge take care of that!

@Jack,

You put my idea into reality. When I was still in Lagos, I was planning on getting a power bike to solve the traffic madness. Fortunately, for me I relocated and it has been a blessing ever since. Lagos traffic believe it or not is a silent killer and it has been proven that Lagosians have a shorter life span, than other urban dwellers in other states. Also, it has been proven that 98% of Lagosians are clinically and mentally mad for a longer period than the supposed "5 minutes madness".
anyone older than 47 yrs of age in lagos state is living on "borrowed time". . . . .

interesting idea from the original poster.
i think fashola should introduce congestion charge in some parts of lagos state - especially lagos island. motorists should be paying a premium to get to the island. this should reduce the number of cars going to the island.

they can also bring the even number/odd number car registration they had in the 80s.
lagos is too chaotic. too many cars for the tiny roads - no traffic lights and motorists don't even respect simple driving regulations.
it's a lawless state!

Gidisbug:
Please nairalanders, I've been in a confused state for some weeks now, I just need help! Ok to my story.
Through the regular group activities most of us do on  BBM, I met a guy who was actually fun whenever we chat and we got so used to each other, he's based in the US while i live in London. He always comes back home during festive periods but I don't. So last year I decided to come home since he was to visit Nigeria and it was a good opportunity for me to come home as well. getting home to Nigeria, I met him and we started a proper relationship, but I was shocked when most of the other girls on the bb group told me they had something with my new bf.

When I confronted him, he didn't deny but told me he saw me differently which I stupidly fell, and all through the holiday was fun for us. Even after we both travelled back to our different countries, I always. Travelled to the states to visit him, but he never came to the uk because of reasons best known to him. To cut the story short, I love this guy I did so many things I can't mention but I can't find a pin I got as a gift from him. Whenever I miss him and need to talk, he's either partying or in strip clubs and when I ask him why he goes to such places, he says to me he doesn't wanna lie to me so he tells me where he goes.and he just loves the sight.
I have cried and begged him several times to show me some respect and love but all he keeps doing is make me cry. Now my mother has promised to cut me off if I continue with this guy and she hates him so much all of a sudden.
Recently, I went to NY with my mum and I tried keeping away from him, but I went ahead to let him know I was in the states just cos I didn't think he was gonn come there since he is based in Atlanta and I had 2 days left to stay. He actually came and has been begging me to forgive him and he wants us to start on a clean slate.
He has hurt me so much, cheating and lying to me and most of all my mum disapproves of our relationship now. But the truth is I still love him, so I'm just confused,  Your advice can actually help, do I stay or walk awayhuh Cos I'm scared of getting hurt again! He has been begging and I just hope it's not a scam. Well, insults and advice is allowed, it's nairaland after all,
you better stay!
there's no promise the next guy you date is going to be better.
he's not just going to change his ways because he met you. it doesn't just happen that way.

you want a fly guy, be prepared to share him with hordes of women all over the world.
if you want a faithful, stay-at-home guy. . . . .go to mountain of fire church on lagos-ibadan expressway. you will find dedicated faithful and religious men who are virgins and will not even look at another woman till they die.

she'd kill herself in your house one night(take it from me).
i know a girl that used to do that to her boy/f. eventually, she jumped from 30ft and killed herself one night over a minor argument.

if you love yourself, run now and never look back.

love = feeling of great fondness or enthusiasm for a person.
Sex = the physical activity that people do in order to produce babies or for pleasure <longman dictionary>
how can you now say love =sex ?

can 2 people in love have sex? yes.

Orikinla:
To be truly honest, I would prefer free love to marriage. Because I cannot live together with the same woman for long without being bored. I would prefer to date for as long as I wish and move on to another person. I am very faithful and have never cheated in every relationship, but I cannot bear the routines of living  with the same woman daily for life. I have had a live-in lover before and she wanted marriage 12 years ago. But I did not go on with her plans. I praise married couples, but I know they are just following the custom and tradition of a religion or a society. I have tried to do so too, but it would just be to please my family, church and society who would be happy to see me married. Honestly, I do feel sorry for married people, because in many cases they are not really happy. They just simply believe they have to carry on the tradition. Do I want children? There are enough orphans who need parents. I would prefer having the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie kind of relationship without being married. I would love to have children from three different women from three different races. But what has kept me this long is my church will never accept it. They want me to be a role model, but I am a rebel like most of the prophets were who never married  or even married more than one wife like Moses and David.
how old is this guy for bleeps' sake?
