Had my share of failed trip this morning. I picked rider from Allen avenue enroute Victoria Island, checked map, and ikorodu road was better than 3mb. Got to yaba and I checked fare only to discover app went off. Launched it back, checked fare and I saw #500. Immediately, I told my Indian rider and he was like it was because there was no traffic, the fare would increase as we proceed he said. With a straight face, I sharply told him there's no way fare would have been #500 from ikeja to yaba and he replied by saying he would add extra to the fare. Got to destination, rider gave me 3k, me I no kuku do fare review again.

Real fact except mean riders... Like the lady I carried last week from omole phase one to magodo isheri, she was rude on the phone but after taking 2hrs nap (don't blame, Some Gee gave me 3k Ty after 1700 trip plus 300 change, so napping is allowed), who cares about rider rudeness or destination, I just need a trip... Got to a number before her own, already placing a call to make her know I'm close to reduce waiting time, she raise her voice "Oga call me once you get to my gate", humble me, OK ma! As ride proceeds, she demand to get to few places before final destination, dough it hovers around same axis, as fate we have it, I end trip and it was 3300. Madam voice "I can not pay such, what is it call again, app error abi, 3300 ke", I just crack internal smile, are you a driver? Or when did rider start complaining of app error

Me; ma, what do u want me to say, as u can see a trip of 5 mins, we end up spending almost 2hrs, I did not off d engine or a/c (show her fuel gauge)
Madam shake her head and did transfer... I pity her next driver, if d app fail, d driver should just forget it, negotiate can not work for her.

Bros abeg is it local or international flight... If you have the rider number spread it and let people call him/her for who he/she is, I have never seen such a wicked fellow. Taxify won't help you, but they is a need for the rider to have a feel of insults from different people. The app show 4km, is dat the distance from lekki to airport? I'm so angry now, what kind of wickedness is dis, please don't let this slide, find a way to get your money back

Animals are just better than some people, picked this couple at the airport. The messed my car real bad, ate chips and chicken from TFC I don't know what it's called. They started eating as soon as we left airport, they pushed the footmat and the small rug under the foot mat under the car seat don't know if it was on purpose and every kind of particles was just on the floor. Had it been they allowed all the mess to be on the foot mat it would be bearable, my car was just like a garbage bin. I managed to trash the whole nonsense and couldn't clean the rug, had to use the foot mat to cover it.
I would have reported to Uber at least the will be debited for car wash but I remember I used saka when they were delaying me and making several Yeye stops.

See am... Different strokes for different folks. My own off day na monday and Wednesday, madam will go to the movies... Sometimes I use agidi do morning till 12 and then shut down for her on those days. Saturday and Sunday are usually used to make my own share having made my rent with the weekdays. I target 15k after fuel on both days to close out the week. Mind you all my daily expenses come out of my earnings so what I have at the end of the week is banked.
Fact is some weeks you'll clean out easy, some others you'll struggle. In the end everything evens out. No job will make you a millionaire overnight so its irrational to expect that this one will. If you are able to bank 80k-100k after daily expenses in a month I don't think that's such a bad thing.
