Taxify app has been messing up this mrng. Not been able to go online for the past hours. What's happening?

Taxify has not paid me and tomorrow is public holiday. Has any one not yet paid too? I wrote to them and they said payment is from Monday to Wednesday.

Same thing they told me. I don't know when they started paying on Wednesdays.

I can relate. There was a morning I got a request and called rider but she didn't pick and since I had a feeling the pickup was far and either of us would cancel, I swiped arrived with the mind of canceling (wait for 3mins & then cancel). But secs later the rider called and described the best route to her place which was even longer than what Google map displayed. I spent about 50mins to get to her. I almost cried. If not for the additional #400 added for waiting time, I for lose more

Lol. It's funny how drivers line up on that Admiralty way. Smtimes numbering over 50. I 'll just gently drive into the streets and get requests of 1min pick up and drive out , while they line up on d road there.

don't you use the two app? if u add uber I don't think working on Sunday will be necessary since you drive your on car. me I do uber and bolt, I give my wife 15k every week for house up keep and I make sure I save 25 or 30k every week I don't work on Sunday some Saturday I also don't work

I drive only on taxify.

I hail drivers doing rentals this season. I drive my own car and ever since I started I make sure i remit 25k to myself every week and sometimes I make btw 15-20k extra after all expenses. But this week I was only able to make 7k after remitting 25k. It's tough.

See mumu, the 10k I earn is after Uber commission. Uber only post ur earning, they don't post your earnings with Uber commission.

My earnings with Uber daily is 3000 net minimum. Weekends we earn double or even more. At the end of the week, we have something tangible.

It seems most Uber drivers here are retire bank manager, that is the reason 20k weekly seems nothing to them.

Few months back, I picked an uber staff. Not just a staff but a management staff. When I asked for his destination while chatting via the app, the guy changed it for me, lecturing me bla bla ..... That morning, I was in a good mood, I simply drove to pick up and immediately he entered the car, the conversation started. He kept telling me the rules, giving me reasons why I shouldn't ask for destinations, telling me how I needed to guide my ratings judiciously. All the while, he didn't tell me he was an uber staff but me I knew already cos the way he spoke. I allowed him finish, then I started my own, I gave him 1001 reasons I will ask for destinations and I will continue to, I even made him understand that the fares are low and stuff. The guy finally gave up, he told me every country uber operates has their challenges. He told me uber drivers on uber X in Ghana don't put on AC for riders and if you ask them, they will tell you with a straight face that Petrol is too expensive and that as become the norm over there. If you want a car with AC and stuff, you request for uber black. For the guy claiming James bond, kudos to you. I understand that your background affects your judgement. Coming from a guy who was a site labourer and earning 2k per day to a guy who would do same level of work or even less and then earn higher in a better working environment. What others are saying is yes uber still pays, but the pay does not commensurate with the efforts you put in. Imagine driving all through Lagos from 6am to 10pm and all you could make for yourself is 12k, to me, that does not makes sense. One would burn out if you do that in a stretch. I picked a guy yesterday from chevron to airport, he told me doing a trip like that in the US is about $50 and I did same trip for $10. Now, we are not not saying they should make it equal cos the living condition there and here aren't the same but they should make it worthwhile. If I did same trip and I earned say 20$ for it I don't think I will complain. I know you would come for me, but you would be ignored. Capisce?

Met a guy on Admiralty way and he said he pays 40k for a 08 honda civic. On 2.6M hire purchase, he has done 6 months already.
