Hello seniors, Has any1 used notarised supervisor/manager issued reference letter with business card attached on plain sheet. How did u go about it. Pls did it work out fine. Was your visa issued without the HR issued letter on letterhead? Pls share your success stories. |
Lemme answer in my own chikini way; 1-CIC will only assess d bank documents u submit. As long as u have proofs like gift certificate to prove how u got d money, they dont care abt d rest. 2-Either employment or funds or anything, they can decide to verify anything they are not sure of. Payslips is an evidence that you have been collecting salary all along& it is essential when claiming job experience. 3-If u are goin thru CIC, U only need an ECA to prove the Canadian equivalence of ur degree. If u practice in a regulated proffession, u will only need d licence when u land in Canada. Above all,It pays to be sincere in all these, As crooked documents may land u a ban. jinglesbaby: |
I want to get a reference letter from my superior who has also left my former company. He has agreed to write it but since he is not longer with the company how can i go about it? Also i want to get a reference from my current boss but he cannot write the letter on a letter head as d company rule forbids it. I plan to notarise both letters. My question is i hope it will fly with dis CIC guys |

In these 'alleged more corrupt' nations, policemen must be going to citizen's homes to knock on dia door 4 daily contribution because if Nigeria wt dis corrupt policemen & politicians is not among d top 10, I wonder wt will be happening there. |
Buhari's barring of AIT is absolutely uncalled for. He should remember that he is now in a democracy & not a military Junta. As much as I am his supporter, press freedom should never be infringed upon. |

Four doctor at the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, Niger State capital have been handed a 21-month suspension by the Medical and Dental Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal for negligence which led to the death of one Mrs. Eleojo Collins. The accused, Temitope Onile, Nzurumike Nnanna, Danmusa Ochala and Omotayo Oluwadamilola Akinro were arraigned on the charges of negligence of duty between January 27 and 28, 2012, according to reports from Punch. Delivering his ruling, the Chairman of the six-man tribunal, Dr. Jonathan Azubuike said, “For failure to see a patient as often as his/her medical condition required, Onile is hereby suspended for three months, Nnanna six months, Ochala six months, and Akinro six months.” According to the charge sheet, the doctors were on call but failed to promptly attend to the patient who was admitted under their care and required urgent surgical intervention. The patient later died. Akinro was accused of “suspending the passage of Foley’s catheter and proceeded to administer Misoprostol (used to induce pregnancy) without prior consultation with the consultant and senior medical officer on duty.” He said the offense contravened Rule 29, 29.4(c) and 29.4(f) of the Code of Medical and Dental Ethics in Nigeria 2008 Edition and is punishable under Section 16(1)(a) and (2) of the Medical and Dental Practitioners Act, Cap.M8 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004. In a separate ruling, the tribunal found a doctor engaged at Barau Dikko Specialist Hospital, Lafia Road, Kaduna, Dr. Udezue Obumneme, culpable and suspended him for three months, based on the charges of negligence and misconduct in the operation he carried out on one Mr. Steven Kwaso, who also later died. In another development, a doctor with Shell Petroleum Hospital in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Dr. Amos Essien, has been arraigned before the tribunal on charges of negligence in the management of one Mr. Obhuo Sonam. The charge sheet read, “You caused to be prescribed and administered several doses of sedatives and anaesthetic drugs to the said patient without monitoring adequately…and you have conducted yourself infamously in a professional respect.
