Please great minds i like to know if any1 on d group is a sales or marketing professional in Canada. How easy is it to break into this field coming with Nigerian education & experience in a global top 5 CPG/FMCG.

Also i am at d stage of making up my mind about d province to settle down, I have narrowed down to Manitoba & Alberta but i need to know what life looks like in this 2 provinces in terms of housing, school/daycare for kids, Ease of getting a job, weather, standard of living, public transportation, Healthcare etc. I should b coming in by Dec/Jan as we already have our COPR

I will appreciate a response to any of d issues. Tx in advance.

Great job everyone. You wont believe that each day I come I see so many pages to catch up with and finally dont reach the end, go to bed and wake up to more pages and the cycle repeats itself. well now I'm done and will try not to fall behind again. I did my masters in Malaysia and just realized that I cant request for a PCC without IRCC requesting for one as the request from IRCC is one of the required documents. this is what I saw on cic for Malaysia PCC. Hope following it to the letter is the best because as much as I understand it, it still sounds/seems weird.

How much will it cost me to do ielts don't mind me I am a novice in this travel section. I will also like to know if there is a center that's more favorable to write the ielts.

I have written ielts 7 times. My journey started since 2015. My Wes has been ready since then, but because of age and ielts, I have been falling short. I wrote ielts and got moderate score. I didn't know what was required then, since then, it has been a battle for me. My last 3 scores were 8,7.5,7,6... 7.5,7.5,7.5,7... 7.5,8,7,7..after the 6th one in June, I swore I was done with this dream. I had sunk so much money into this. I have gone to dubai to write celpip, went to dubai again for new brunswick info session, spent money 2ice on SINP and all to no avail. I was frustrated and devastated. July, I told my spouse to let me try ielts one more time. Even thou she didn't want to see me hurt again, she let me have my way. As for her she was done. She wanted the dream closed and buried. I don't blame her. So I paid and decided to change venue, this time I went to Ibadan, meaning I was spending more again. Then something changed. I prayed a lot about it. For catholics amongst us, please pray the prayers for exams to St Joseph of Cupertino. I went into the hall, did my best and left. I couldn't even beat my chest about my performance. I have been humbled by Ielts. But I kept on praying. I am not going to fail the 7th time. In between that time, a stranger in Lere2017 on this platform came into my life. She needed something from me. I actually wasn't in the mood to talk to her (reply her pm) but I did. We got talking and I told her my story. She was touched and she also truly prayed for me seriously. She will send me messages almost everyday telling me how much I was in her prayers and letting me know all is well. Yesterday midnight was the most awkward time of my life.. From 12 am till 7 am this morning, I was refreshing ielts website to check my result. The fear and panic was too intense. When I didn't see anything, I decided to go to their office to pick up my result.. That drive was filled with swallowing stone like saliva. On the bridge, I decided to refresh it again.. My result was there. My soul left my body and my eyes became blurry. I didn't know what I was reading but I knew I was reading.. L-9, R-8,S-8,W-7

I felt water swell up in my eyes. I understood what it is to look for something within your grasp and yet not have it. I am still basking in this euphoria so I can't real explain my ordeals. So please if you have it on a platter of gold, don't come here to rub it in on people that are going through a lot of even have a slice of what you have. For me the journey starts soon. I now have 450 points. I pray we all get to the promise land. Thank you @lere2017 I appreciate you. That's the beauty of this thread. Goodluck to everyone. AOR: May 10
Medical passed: June 26
IP1&Na2: June27
1P2:July 26 till date.
I sent a mail to CIC to find out my Visa Office and I got this response..
Our Office(CPC Ottawa) is processing your application. Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately, at this time,we are not able to determine when your application will b finalized but out our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed or if any additional information or documents are required.

I have tried to ignore this mail, but it worries me, I won't lie. Is there anyone who has received this type of response from them. What do you guys think? Should I just prepare my mind for the 6months? Please your inputs will be highly appreciated. Sorry for the long post.

Please I need your opinion on this.

My spouse is in the pool with a CSR of 430 but we decided to evaluate my degree so that she can have an extra 8 points. WES just responded to my evaluation and said that my degree was forged. They also said they'll inform all appropriate bodies.

Please, will WES' result affect my spouse' application eventhough she'll not be adding my degree?

Please I need some clarifications before I start my PR journey.

1.the bulk of my work experience (8yrs) is in the IT field but my last job that lasted 2yrs is in biomedical field.which noc will be better for me to use?
2.my first degree is elect/elect, I have an mba and am presently doing msc in biomedical engr'g.which of my credentials should I assess given that I won't finish my msc until January(too far).
3. Can I use my IT work experience to apply then look for a job in biomedical engrg when I eventually get there?
4.I intend to go with my family, if I am the principal applicant, can I go with my family when everything eventually clicks....so at least I won't have to look for much money for POF?

Though i am just starting the PR journey, I have a question so as not to be caught unawares. Do I need to get a police clearance certificate from USA too even though I only visit, sometimes for 4 to 5 months? Is the PCC required for 6 months at a stretch or total of all visits? If yes, where can I get my fingerprints taken in Lagos. I just want to know so that I can put it down on my to-do list, thanks.

Dear All,

I got my ITA on Wednesday after the last draw. But here are my questions and my worries.

1. My passport Expires in September 2017 and I have till July to submit my application at which point my passport would be less than three months to expiration. Hopefully by this time in May I should have submitted my application. My question here is that can I still use my current passport details? Although I have applied for a new one but was told that I may not receive it till the next two months due to scarcity of passport booklet being experienced Nationwide now in Nigeria.

2. If the new passport is not out till the period that the ITA would expire, what option do I have?

3. My current passport expires in September and hopefully by then without delay and if everything goes well... I should have gotten the visa. If I input the details of my current passport now. Will it be possible to change it later when the new passport arrives?

I hope I made sense with my questions. Your candid opinion would very well be appreciated

Dear everyone,

I am not claiming points for my NYSC employment but the system is requesting that I upload employment records for this period. Will my NYSC certificate alone be enough since I am not claiming points for this period? Has anyone done this in the past without any problem?

Please house my question is on certification or notarisation of documents. Is this required for all photocopies submitted or just some documents? I have read here that gift deed should be notarised, does this apply to LOE and other documents? Thanks

Hi house, if an invitation is declined and another invite is gotten in the very next draw, the Medicals, police report, Wes etc all done for the prior invite can still be used for the new invite? Thanks
