Hagm0nd: So the villagers knew they were to be attacked and they cant organise vigilante and arm themselves imagine fulani telling the communities that their land belong to them for grazing, raping women and many more and the slowpoke of a governor could only talk about prayer and fasting this is what ipob should arise and confront not insulting yorubas unless they are a bunch of cowards
if you remember that not more than a month before this attack more than 73 youths were arrested because they where discussing how to secure and tame the excess of those herdsmen. I am from that local government and the conflict did not start today but they had never attacked us with this magnitude. I think those herdsmen are backed by powerful persons from this government. if you follow the trend carefully, they firstly used the military to round up a lot of youth then on the day of the attack, the so called military personnel left for who knows where. then the said military surfaced when reprisal started. I think Nigeria as a country should enshrine in our constitution the right for individuals to have their own firearms in other to secure themselves. why would a Fulani man be allowed to carry assault riffles but I would be arrested if a small pen knife is found on me. For my Governor saying the people should pray and fast,I just want to say he his a big fat fool.
fiizznation: People have to be careful. If you think you are dealing with the average Nigeria fulani/fulfude group then you people should better wake up. I'm a Fulani man and I know what I'm talking about. These herdsmen carrying out all these atrocities are dangerous herdsmen from other Africa countries e.g chad, Niger, Sierra Leone, Gambia, guinea, Senegal, Mali etc. Normally they rarely attack any community until they are attacked first and they don't understand anything called fair play. They have a very wide network that cuts across the entire African continent.
My problem with the hypocritical Nigeria media houses is they hardly report any killings of these herdsmen by the local community, but the herdsmen reprisal attacks are always reported. To me this is insensitivity. We all know how innocent Nigeria herdsmen are killed everyday by the locals, but nobody wants to talk about that. The agatu people killed many innocent Fulani herdsmen before the herdsmen reprisal attacks, but how many media houses reported that? All we were hearing was Fulani ransacked agatu community.
People should be careful, if you think these herdsmen don't get to hear news about how their fellow brothers are killed and their cattle rustle, then we are not serious about solving this crisis
To an extent i agree with you that most attacks are retaliation, but the question would be if everybody keep attacking, who would be left. Honestly, Uzo-Uwani would also seek their own revenge.
I am replying you right now from Bishop shanahan where the dead bodies were deposited....... You expect all the dead to be deposited at that Morgue. Seriously, i don't want to argue again. Do you know how many people are unaccounted for presently.
Kei144: Uzo Uwani didn't participate much in the Biafran war. By the time the Fulanis begin to attack Igbos that participated prominently in the Biafran war, you will see something else.
. see rubbish talk, do you know in front of my village a junction is called camp, it was used as the training camp of Biafrans. do you know the amount of food the villagers gave to the soldiers as support. The war in Nsukka didn't last because it was a border state, so making this stupid assumption is sickening. if you want the breakdown of how long Uzo uwani as being taming this Fulani for a while you would be surprised. I think their is a renewed resurgence from this group and they've got powerful backer's seeking revenge for years of misunderstanding.
5 dead bodies are in the morgue of Bishop Shanahan Hospital Nsukka, I am an eye witness, they are on a revenge mission but believe me this will mark the end of Fulani herdsmen in that community and its neighboring villages
Okpuje community, udi and many others secretly flushed them out in the past, uzo_Uwani people will not disappoint.
I blame the state Governor who has refused to empower and arm boys with guns and trucks in the guise of vigilante group to check mate this evil Fulani's perpetrate against our people
Some time I feel like suspecting if the hands of our leaders in the East is in this activities of Fulani herdsmen just to score cheap political sympathy and discredit the Government at the centre, but on the other hand as someone who grew up among fulanis, I remember they behave like animals.......this kind of killings is not new
. That is my maternal village and from reliable source, the figure is nothing less than 35. forget wishful thinking, stupid country. Honestly, everybody should have the right to carry firearms. how security agents are useless and stupid. always coming to pack bodies rather than preventing it. imagine telling the youths to allow them (fools) do their work. I blame my people sha.
My worse experience as an undergraduate was during my first semester first year. I think i would blame my financial recklessness and inmaturity for my suffering. I really suffered o, i gat to get sense by force.
Thank you, Katerine7. Hope you visit the blog for more of such post?
you captured our camping very well. I was in 7 platoon and part of the sport committee. Captain made our camping interesting with his fierce look and disciplinary actions (1,2,3 then you shout 1). Snakes during SAED lecture mostly any time we start learning Yoruba but the funny thing there is that at Night when people should run away from that place that is when you would see different couple hanging out at that spot. I was so busy in camp and i honestly enjoyed it.
horladtop: Please, can anyone give or explains reason why military men are not allow to keep beards in Nigeria and why their female are not allow to use earrings....
it became invoke during world war 1 where the use of chemical weapon was allowed. You having beards would be a problem because the gas mask would not seal well.
oluwaniyi66: what do u know about Electricity Tariff ? ask a power system Engineer to analyze the whole system for you. you will realize there's a need for you to pay more. you people pay to the distribution and generation company leaving the transmission company. In other to stop that, electricity Tariff has to be increased so as to compensate the transmission company. you must also pay for the power loss during transmission not just the power you consume at your different houses( not pay as you consume but pay as they generate ). I hope you understand what i said. thanks
If u ever come under the tutelage of Profs like Maboogunje, Abumere, Ayoade Stanley Okafor , Filani, Akintola; (Geography Dept. UI) , Your life will be overtly positively transformed.
. I honestly can relate with the guy you quoted. no beef intended. I think 99 percent of our professors had not brought any remarkable breakthrough in their field of study. they don't even research talk less of discovering or really being a leader in their field. I went to a technology university and I had dreamt of working with a professor as an assistant or disciple. when I got in, I realised that we are not serious. I repeat my earlier statement that most of our professors don't deserve that title.
can relate with all but number 2 always marvel me. the rate of assimilation during exam period to me is out standing. number 4 happens a lot when the time given for that exam is not sufficient or you were not really sure if your solution was the right one but on hearing 5 minutes to go, it definitely would be better to write that answer than to leave the question unanswered.
patolanking: I think the tecno camon c8 is better than the wiko slide 2 even though I haven't used the wiko slide 2 yet. My judgement s just based on the review on both phones so far. Especially about the camera picture quality and the fact that camon c8 supports fast charge.
I disagree, it is far better than c8 . its camera is good but not really superb at low light, I agree with you on its inability to charge fast. in terms of operation, the phone delivers above its pay grade. I am enjoying every kobo I paid for the phone.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKgZ9b4SBI8 cc vosquare Watch it at this link here or at Falz's YouTube Channel Falz & Co got YouTube to block anyone else except him from sharing the video
Falz called himself Chief Lieutenant to Simi in the video, so why the warload com call him Sergeant on the phone call nau ''Sergeant, if you want the girl come and collect her''
I am serving at a secondary school in Ekiti and I stopped going to school on Fridays because that day is the scheduled day for farm work for ss2. imagine students going to farm on Monday. sincerely that practice should be stopped. I had expected to meet very smart kids but I saw otherwise, something drastic need to be done to revamp the fallen educational standard in Ekiti.
Booyakasha: I disagree with the Introvert part.. I'm dating an introverted guy.. Apart from the fact that introverts can be extreme loners, practical people with inability to express theirselves and they get the phobia of kissing and hugging or even holding hands in public, here are some reasons to be with an introvert guy.. they're amazing!!
Great listeners. My boyfriend helps me a lot by just listening to me. You know when you want some one to just hear you out and only advice when asked for, Introverts are ever ready for that. Very Intelligent. Very clichéd sentence but trust me they are intelligent. My Man solves the rubiks cube in under 2 mins. That's crazy.
No nonsense. They are the ones you can have the most meaningful conversations with, not garbage talks. They guide you very well. Some how they see you just the way you are, and yet love you because it's beyond looks for them. They don't get blinded by love, and yet For them love means everything and they give it their all.
Not Fake. They do not pretend to like you. They either just like you or don't and will tell you straight
Love Ain't A Game . They don't fall in love easily, but They fall hard. For them love isn't a game, their Hearts are at Stake. If they tell you they love you, you better not break their heart.
Calm by nature. Would women want to be with a man who gets violent, abuses, puts her down, yells at her or with A Man who treats her like a princess, will be faithful and treat her with respect all her life. I'm sure you will choose the latter i.e The Introverted man. They can never get violent it's just not in their nature to fight, and usually are respectful towards everyone in general.
Give you space. Space is must in a relationship and introverts know how to give you that.
Hot in Bed. They are good love makers (I can only speak on the behalf of my bf). Boy they are passionate!!
Stand by you. Is anything in this world worth more than some one actually standing by you through the toughest times? Introverts who are in love with you, won't back down when your in trouble, or back off because some one else says so. They fight hard to protect their loved ones.
Won't “use" you. Introverted men never woo women as a game. They are genuinely attracted to her and want to get to know her on deeper level. Yes sex is on their mind too but they will never cross their boundaries with you. Introverted women find it hard to fall for some one and when they do it's usually for life.
Honesty. Yes they are brutally honest, they will criticize you, not to hurt you but, because they really care about you . Yet they will be the first ones to come Cheer you up, Motivate you when you feel down and like a total failure.
Best friends. They are the bestest friends you can ever find. Trust me.
Loyalty. Being faithful comes to them naturally. Since they are introverted, they do not have many friends or easily make new connections. This means they do not find it hard to stay loyal and committed when in a serious relationship.
full description of me, most especially falling deep in love and loyalty. the girl am with doesn't know that. she thinks am like other guys who would say something out of pretence. well your boo is lucky having you, I have already made up my mind to leave her. Take of your guy very well, loved your list.
13th, it described me very well most especially the love part. I really fantasize and give out love a lot that I think I have not seen any person who would be ready to share love with me in the same plain.
CivilzedTyger: Lol that's my favorite line in the letter.
Honestly that line is not bad o. lol. op na one of those tinz wey person gat do as a teenager. the young man is trying to express his inner most desire but his English is superb in the negative axis.
If Mrs Onwuliri is actually interested in the peace between the couples, she should have done more than locking the woman in room to allow her take away the children. the wife documents should not have been ceased. (shikena)
I am not defending anybody since i don't know the real story. What i am saying is that the story is one sided.
one thing i have learnt in life is that their are two sides to a coin, it is left for you to either show the both sides or one side. I don't know the other side of the story but i could tell that the writer is too biased, its as if you have a personal Vandetta against the husband's family. All i know is that both sides would have committed errors to make it not work. Finally, the way the writer painted her was too cruel, i schooled in FUTO and she is not as bad as the writer would make us believe.
