DProDG: Do you realize Assad was the only candidate in the last election? He is a dictator and it was his people that started the uprising a few years back to get rid of him. I told you that some section majorly Sunni muslims started the uprising but you did not factor other sects (shias, alawites, christain and even neutral sunni's) who still supports him. Yes not everybody would support you as a president. As i said interest is the main reason for any action, it is not about right or wrong. In that region, do you know that Assad is one of the most secular leader, can you compare syria to Saudi Arabia or Bahrain in terms of human right and laws for its citizen. The first reason why country like Libya, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba etc are targets is because they are allied with Russia and you can see what is happening in ukraine. Secondly, because of Syria stance against Israel and so many more. As i said USA would rather see a wick Syria than a strong united Syrian that would be a threat to her allies in that region. |

all4naija: DEMOCRATICALLY elected government, you a$$! look at this ignorant person calling me a ass. Who won the last Syrian election(more than 90 percent). Do you think Assad would still have the support of the miltary and his people if he was not popular. I agree that the he has some opposition and western countries wants him out but would you deny that this same Jihadist got their weapons from US during the initial stage to booth out Assad. Well every country has their own policy and vested interest and most time it is not about whether their action was right or wrong but what they would gain from such policy. |

I disagree with the US lawmaker, Syria has a government whether they like it or not. Same as Iraq and i wish they could support us by sharing intelligence and also sale good weapons to Nigeria. |

musaffyan: See dis 1 who told u Christ never had sex Then wat was Mary macderline doing beside Christ in Leonardo da Vinci's pics of d last supper I am not a religious fanatic but this your comment is filled with absolute ignorance. Leonardo's painting was done in his period during the 15/16 century and it was a piece from his imagination. Therefore, presenting it as a fact to an invent that happened more than 1500 years ago from is time is wrong. Whether Jesus had sex or not is not my concern but your analogy is wrong. |

no b only Biafra. I don't see it materializing because their is no groundwork for such a move. I don't like the name because it has nothing to do with Igbo's and how would they stop marginalization of people in this so called country. Presently, it is not feasible, maybe until something really tragic happens or the other federating unit agree to breakaway. |

I really would be interested at the outcome of this case. I believe AIT would not pay that sum and with time they might retract some statements from that documentary. I don't think they would ever release the identity of the sponsors. Tinubu should also be careful not to fall into a very big trap. |

hedonistic: Israel would square up to Russia any day. Forget Russia's size and noise; I trust my Israel die. forget fairy tales. Israel would never stand up to Iran in war without the backing of USA. Do you know how much USA give to Israel every year and the miltary weapons it gives to Israel. Imagine US withdrawing their support for Israel (which would never happen presently) i bet you that the Arab world would be on their neck in mere seconds. |

JonBee1: Truth.
They are a product of many failures, chiefly:
-Failed parent (not poor parent, as an average poor southerner will not subject the beloved kids to this wickedness)
-Failed society (a cultural environment where priorities are misplaced; it is no longer a crime but to subject children to this kind of humiliations)
-Failed elite (It serve the purpose of the caste-minded elite to have ignoramus and untrained kids at their beck and call)
-Failed culture ( a culture that celebrate marriages/weddings but care not about the welfare of the products)
-Failed leaders (Alhaji commissioner is a millionaire after just one tenure, abeg how much be him salary. Abi him get Indomie factory)
-Failed religious institution (a narrative that promote this despicable practice couple with the mallams' need for cheap livelihood & power)
-Failed nation (A government that praises these Northern leaders/governors as performers despite their gargantuan failure) I agree |

This practice might be glamourous during Usman danfodio's time but presently, it is so outdated and pure wickedness to those kids. This practice should be censored in such a way that those kids should have both contemporary education and their islamic education and they should not be seen roaming the streets begging for food. Finally, their leaders no go listen. |

Nigeria has always wanted them to protect and man their border so that boko would not use their countries as a resting and regrouping area. You don't expect Nigeria to give them full access to Nigeria land. They have to work with Nigeria's mandate and i hope the co-operation continues. |

Nigeria has always wanted the cooperation of our neighbours but Nigeria first and main demand is for them to man their border properly so that boko haram would not use their border as a regrouping base, they are now doing it and we thank them for it. Fighting Boko-harem together is wonderful but they should know that their is a limit to their involvement both for strategic, nationalistic and political reasons. I appreciate their co-operation and i hope they continue to work on their main reason for this effort which is to man their border properly. |
