mostob: I know. My comment is based on the clip. I agree we need to watch her full game over and over.
Then, Oshoala must be really fast. I personally rate Oshoala as the fastest player in the women's game. A fit Ordega is also faster than Kanu. |

kingmill: Everything we wrote was self taught, the Council of Legal Education neglected this set of students nothing was done to protect the interest of students. About five weeks into lecture, the pandemic started in 2020, there was no externship, no court attachment, no communication to keep students abreast of their plans. Till late December 2020 when they said Law school will resume lecture and From January to match there will be revision (January 2021) they further postpone the resumption till first week of February . Despite the alteration of their plans exams was held in March. Two hours of lecture for more than 4 topics in a day .... Coupled with a plethoral of drafts, sections cases , principles you need to get a grasp of ? The only excuse the lecturers could come up with was , we assume you have been taught online when a good number of persons have no access to it ( quite a good number of persons could not afford it) What a terrible condition! |

mostob: Very impressive. One thing that I noticed is how she easily spot the runs of her teammate and her perfectly executed through balls. Double footed, creative, good goalscorer, good dribbler and explosive pace....very very impressive. Ordega might just make way for her. Are you sure she is not faster than Oshoala ? I think she is faster or both may be at par. She's doing quite good, but you need to be careful about these short clips. And, her pace is not even close to Oshoala's. |

BascoVanVeli: Then why is it that American players don't destroy everyone when they go to Europe Listen carefully, the reason the USWNT is so good is that they take time off from club football to have long camps from time to time. This is a league that has shut down multiple times. Nobody watches it. So don't come and start telling stories. ...and they still dominate the list of world's best players- you might want to look through it. shouldn't that tell you something? |

AkinDS: I thought Vivian, in her cameo appearances, played well. I particularly liked her being emboldened approach. No doubt, she has room for improvement and I will like to see her in Randy's setup going forward. I was also particularly impressed with Demehin, the CB against Jamaica. She displayed a calmness in the back beyond her years (19) and I feel she is definitely one for the future. I hope she remains in Randy's setup going forward. I don't have to re-litigate my disappointment in Ogbonna. Okeke is with CFF Madrid and doesn't play in the local league. Home based players should not be retained at the expense of better, more experienced players, for instance, Ihezuo, Umotong and Imo are better players than Vivian. However, I support that they be invited to train with the team. The home league has seriously regressed. |

marvin906: Can't wait to see her play.. Are we expecting any new foreign based players.. And why are we just starting to focus on foreign based players.. If not for randy I didn't know we had so much talent outside especially in the UK Seriously, I see him as a serious coach, he's got the passion. The local coaches would never have considered the foreign players. Randy's effort at bringing in better players, no matter where they are, shows he's got great zeal to improve the team. |

For your information the England Senior Women National Team has been in Contact with ASHLEIGH but it's her and her Family decision that's why she wants to play for Nigeria.. She had over 35Caps for England from the U15 to U23level...
She's Leicester City best Defender just 23years By the time you watch her play in the WSL you will know how good she is.. Leicester city's best player, actually. |

AkinDS: Out of curiosity... Uchenna Kanu was with Sevilla in the 2020 season but was let go after 4 games. Why? (that is a tell tale sign that a player doesn't measure up to standards). She went to a Swedish league and then joined up with Linkopings FC. Considering the Iberdola is much more competitive than the Damallsvenskan league, that raised a red flag for me, as the typical trend is to move from Scandinavia to southern continental Europe, in this case, Spain (Rash, Rita Chikwelu, Osi Ohale, are examples). Second, I watched her performance in the Turkish Invitational and I wasn't really blown away. I really expected a whole lot more from her and quite frankly, didn't get it. Ball control, 1v1 ability, etc. on her part were below par for me, considering all the hype surrounding her. I was far from impressed. Yeah... I believe the Spanish league is presently more competitive. Even before now I'd noticed that most of our Sweden based players who were also touted as the best at their clubs kept performing abysmally at the national team level... It's one of the reasons I keep imploring people here to be careful about overhyping players. Kanu is doing well in Sweden, but a big question is, could she have done so well in Spain? |

AkinDS: I went into the Summer Series with that in mind (long layoff) and still saw some things I was concerned about. First, her energy level was down - you could see her walking back on some occasions, when she ought to have been racing back and she looked extremely unfit. Yes, we can attribute that to her long layoff BUT she had several weeks of training with Levante before the Summer Series. Second and most worrisome for me was her overall approach to the game. I noticed that, literally, every time she got the ball, her first instinct was to dribble. This was prevalent in all three games. There were several occasions Rash and others expressed their frustrations with her ball-hogging, when a simple pass would have helped sustain the attack. 9 times out of 10, on those her ball-hogging escapades, she lost the ball. Her ball control was also poor. This was worrying for me, because its usually a sign that a player might be the downward slope. She was not as fast as she used to be and her overall contribution in the final third was poor. Not sure if anyone else noticed this. Wow! I noticed exact same things! and those same worries of yours are the exact same as mine, this also made me understand why she's hardly had playing time at her new club... Anyway, I've decided to hope that it's the long time of inactivity that's plaguing her, and hope she will be different by next season. |

GeneralDae: I have a little concern though. I think the standard of our league is going down, because only Vivian played a bit above average in this past summer series. Ogbona and Okeke improved against the U.S.A, but overall they didn't have a good performance. This is a league that gave us outstanding players in time past. I wonder what's happening. Okeke is based in Spain, but has surprisingly not learned much. The home based players are unexposed, they are also poorly coached... Infact, the standard of the local league is not good. |

Schemerkhiz: Rasheedat Ajibade has improved a lot, her performance at the Summer Series was commendable, the Competitions at the Atletico de Madrid Femenino attack position is really good for her game, now that Thembi has gone there, the Competition for shirt will even be more tougher...
She played several positions (Central Midfield, Behind the forwards and from the Right Wing forward) at the Summer Series..
How would you rate her performance??
Deyna Castellanos (VEN) will definitely play from the Midfield... In my opinion, she's the most improved player, and is also one of the most talented players on the team. I pray she remains on the Madrid team and learn, grow to her full potential. |

Please, just don't do this... Comparing Oshoala to Rapinoe is an insult, I mean it, bro. Rapinoe has continued to shine from when she came into limelight up until now, at 36; She's achieved a lot that Oshoala should be aspiring for... Or you think that making the American team na beans?... And then she continues to be the best at what she does.
So you know, Oshoala cannot even make that American team ; a lot of players there are clearly better than her. Even forwards at Barca, such as Hermosa, Martens, Hansen are clearly above her- their overall play trumps hers. The reason Oshoala shines in Africa is that the standard is low on the continent.
Being fast and strong is useless if a forward is wasteful, largely unpolished ; highly tactical and technical teams would easily clip such forwards, rendering them ineffective... Or, haven't you noticed that Oshoala even struggles against average teams because she is not clinical? Even judging from that USA match, what was Oshoala's impact? Would you compare her play with Rapinoe's? Abeg, Oshoala should remain humble and learn. No! Rapinoe is head and shoulders above Oshoala. That's a fact! |

BascoVanVeli: The bolded is just ridiculous. A woman on the best team in Europe cannot make the American roster? U see how ridiculous u people get in the name of not being biased? U are not even talking about the starting XI, u say she can't make the team. How can I have a serious conversation after u say that.
Can u dare compare these two club careers Stop lying to yourself Sorry, it's not like that! America's NWSL towers above any European league you can think of. Rapinoe is far above those leagues Oshoala has played in, only Barcelona and the English league can come close. Also, those are not the very important statistics needed to judge them... You do know that club football is different from national team football, right? Let Oshoala go and play in the American League, put in consistently excellent performances against world's best teams and players, and also in major tournaments- World cups, Olympics, only then would she be considered worthy of nominations and awards that Rapinoe has. |

AkinDS: This lady is a football nomad - she has been all over the place. Anyhow, congrats to her, even though her playing time might be limited to bit part roles. She is definitely behind Ludmila (BRA), Deyna Castellanos (VEN) and Tatiana Bonetti (ITA). She will also have to contend with Ajara Nchout of CMR and maybe Rasheedat Ajibade. I see her as a bench player, unless she makes a big impression on the coach. True! |

BascoVanVeli: The other girl is the Spanish number one so she definitely has to get her's but we all saw what Oshoala did in the Champions League quarterfinals. When Oshoala is healthy there is no woman in football faster and stronger than her. Her physical traits alone put her in a league of her own. Did you watch Meagan Rapinoe and say she was even on Oshoala's level? This is someone FIFA claim to be the best on Earth and we all saw it isn't close. Please, just don't do this... BascoVanVeli: Yes. If she didn't get injured she would have finished the season way stronger than she did. Look at how she handled man city in the first leg. A healthy Oshoala is definitely a top 10 player. But for injury, she would have finished the season stronger- this, I totally agree! as for the part that she's among the world's top ten, I disagree. Let's not deceive ourselves here, there are several players ahead of her at the moment. Don't you think there's a concrete reason as to why she's never a starter at her club? The reason is not far fetched- Apart from pace, which she's always possessed, Oshoala has not developed other aspects of her game. This same speed is the same reason she scores a lot of goals for her club- plus being surrounded by world class players who create multiple chances, most of which she wastes. For her to assume that status, she has to work seriously on her finishing, also develop other aspects of her game. |

How could this even get to the point of throwing insults around? Tribalism will kill you people! And to you people claiming to hail from Akwa Ibom, but insulting Igbo people, shame on you!
