Anybody got any info on the below? I am not quite sure what to make of it.

"As soon as he was sworn into office, he awarded contracts to the best ship builders across the globe to deliver world class warships with very advanced war capabilities to the Nigerian Navy. Dozens of warships are billed to arrive Nigeria and join the burgeoning naval fleet. This a welcomed development and a sign of more good things to come. The Nigerian Navy is similarly in the process of acquiring Torpedoes, Destroyers and many other hard wares that will not only place it amongst the top Navies around the world but will ensure that Nigerian territorial waters are never threatened. This is good news for an administration that is less than one year in office".

You know this article is rubbish? And the author doesn't know what he is writing about. He probably just giggled navy , and saw words without understanding the intricacies and depth and started pasting them on this writeup.

With the comments I am seeing here, its obvious the OP is saying the truth, most of nigerian men either suffer from insecurities, liw self esteem, inability to control aggression or just immature to handle a relationship... Do your part as a man and you wouldn't have to worry about your girlfriend with other guys, it would help with give you peace of mind.
Truthfully I wouldn't pick offense to what she did, because I'm quite exposed....still what she did is wrong, and shows she has no respect to her boyfriend's emotions. Left to me, I would make a joke out of it, and paint the scenario if i was the one packing or kissing an acquaintance, and forget it ever happened.

Your answer does not correlate with the question, moreover the people you expect the billions to recruit will have to sign up willingly and pass the test. You don't just pick anybody.
You haven't been able to properly cater for the ones on ground and you want more.
The police is the primary go to force for internal dispute till the police is properly fixed,we would continue to hammer on the same issue (same with the judiciary)
The truth is that, even the police isn't willing to he fixed. Police officers are richer than military officers, I can only think of EFCC being richer than police .

I don't believe ur story bro..
First of, I need to understand what you meant by 'training her in school' cos to me, it means supporting her financially from start to finish be it secondary or tertiary..
Now, If you truly ' trained her in school' like you claim, why would you push her away so easily for a mere setback in character, as if you are perfect? Do you think there aren't characters you exhibit too that she doesnt like as well?

Guys sef..
Baba, I have basically paid all a girls school Bill's for 2 years, give her pocket money and other sundry bills running into millions, I let the girl go without batting an eyelid, she's had been trying to come back to me for years, offering me sex and all..... if you're doing woman matter, be ready to talk away.

Your expectations and mine are on completely different LEVELS.

The NA is probably close to 200, 000 personal. And we can project to assume we have probably 150, 000 combatants with at least 100,000 on active duty on multiple fronts across Nigeria.

How many Armoured vehicles on different variations fo we need certainly not hundreds but thousands..

200 MRAPS is literally a drop in the ocean.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH AT ALL.
Remember we have been buying over the years, I'm sure some would be fixed/repaired....what we are buying now, is not to stock the entire army, what we are buying is for the offensive.

You might need to pick up a dictionary to understand what flirting is because what you wrote there implies none. If you're so bothered about your wife getting lifts with the man, be calling uber for her when she needs a ride or better yet, buy her her own car.
When they use all the money for uber, how will they feed or save money to even buy her car??

If you know women?, she might be feeling underappreciated and venting because the man thet owns the car and gives her a lift, has started planting something inside her emotionally and started comparing the husband to the man, it's a matter of time she smiles her way to the manhood.

Alpha jet and F7Ni will most likely be retired.
I actually don't think so, the alpha might see reduced sorties and might just be used for low intensity warfare like esn camp and small bandits camp.

The j7 are still here, I think they are in China for major systems overhaul and possibly upgrade....I wish someone had details . The j7 would still be in frontline, till the jf17 Is gotten in appreciable numbers.

#On_Channels_Tv_Sunrise_Daily_NDA_Attack

Commodore Olakunle Olawunmi (A military intelligence veteran with 35 years experience) has spilled it all and says he doesn't care if he is killed.

"I belong to a group in the Military that's not supposed to be seen or heard. Right now, I don't care if I am eliminated"Kunle Olawunmi
Prof of Global Security Studies.

1. Some Governors, ministers and Senators are sponsors of Boko Haram and the Government knows them.

2. Bureau De Change operators are also sponsors of Boko Haram which is also known.

3. Another security breach is that every Friday NDA and all government institutions are opened for Jumat prayers. They come on Friday for worship. Later they become members of the mess who will later spy on the institution and plan their attack.

4. This government does not want to resolve this problem, rather they are escalating it.

5. The solution is not Kinetic solution but non kinetic. You identified the center of gravity, which had been identified. The center of gravity is the sponsors of Boko Haram and Bandits.

6. Most of these sponsors are known within the intelligence community.

7. The DMI, DSS and Police intelligence knows the sponsors very well. The DSS knows very well with tons of files of those sponsoring evil in this country.

8. The defense headquarters knows all those who are behind the terror going on in Nigeria today.

9. The commander in chief knows exactly what is happening but he is quite. When a fish is about to get rotten, the head is the first.

10. The end game is to turn Nigeria into Taliban type of Country. Everyone in the Defense HQ, Army HQ, Naval HQ, and Airforce HQ.

11. The government of Dubai knows the sponsors and they sent lists to the federal government. What did Buhari do?

12. A highly ranked member of this government was interrogated and was found culpable. He is currently a highly rated member of this government.

13. This government wants the government to be islamized.Thats the truth.

14. We are currently in the worst security situation in Nigeria today. CIA actually didn't trust Buhari before 2015. It took the intelligence community and Tinubu to convince Obama and CIA to accept him. They said he was a bigot and will plunge the country.

15. According to Naval Commander Kunle Olawunmi a Prof of Global Security Studies, he said the government directed that all media should be calling them Bandits and unknown gun men so that the international community will be mislead that they are not terrorist.

16. Tagging them Terrorists will invite the international community.

17. He added that the government don't want journalists to report the true picture of what is happening in the country.

18. He added that there must be insider collaboration in NDA. There are a lot of irresponsible people in Nigerian Military formations. This is well known.

19. In few hours the people that attacked NDA will be apprehended, but that's not the solution.

20. The Government should have a policy change. The sponsors should be apprehended and brought to justice.

21. There must be a direct change of policy from Islamization to Democracy.

22. This is a tyrannical government. The damage this government is going to do in the next two years will be more than what they had done in the past six years.

Naval Commander Kunle added that there will be 10% casualties to make it look like it's Banditry and not Islamization.Thats why you see attacks in some Muslims areas so as to convince the international community that the government knows nothing.

The 10% 20% 25?% he mentioned is a given operational requirement given for casualties in any military operation.....once that casualties figure is reached the unit Is rested, or the operation terminated or whatever is done....but that unit would no longer be a spearhead in that form.

demolition:

This is not an imaginary setuation.
This guy has been places and done things you can only dream about.
I know a couple of officers that are intelligence officers, I better you that man isn't talking rubbish, even to pass intelligence course is no beans....the lowest past mark for a subject course, during intelligence course is 88%, some are pegged at 98%.
I know an intelligence officer that has been to every country Nigeria has ever done an operation in , even UN , Au, ecomog and the rest.
There's no discussion you bring up that this man doesn't have an idea about.
This man can travel to Sweden for 2 weeks and he's back for a few days, he out to USA again in a few months time Sudan.....just keeps moving around....he didn't get married till he was a red neck officer.
He was the one that made me understand how the army, buys barest option of equipment and peg it as fullest option, and buy maybe 250 at a stretch, but say they bought maybe 100, when money is released to procure more, they take from the balance of 150 and present it as the equipment they bought and share the money.
Don't mess with intelligence officers, I believe what the retired 1 star naval officer is saying. A lot of people don't know a navy commodore is equivalent to a brigadier general....and I'm almost certain he retired as a old commodore, and he didn't retire not too long ago.

BlackBaron:
I do not understand why Buhari should NOT be blamed? In times of win/achievements, it is not Shehu Shagari that would claim the spoils.

The Nigerian Armed Forces has a culture of apathy and dysfunction. Over time, this behaviour has been learnt, adopted, increasingly internalised, and passed down generations to the present state of affairs. Essentially, the current crop of defence Chiefs are a product of that system.

Rt Gen Buhari rode to power on the wave of solving increasing levels of insecurity and was one of the major critics of the previous administration with a promise to ‘lead from the front’.

Just like a FTSE 500 company would elect/select a leader to turn around their fortunes or steady a rocking ship by identifying areas of weakness. In that time, lack of elements of leadership have been GLARING with Buhari.

All previous failings should have been enough to provoke a defence review and innovative adjustments applied. Human components, updated leadership training for officers, adopt best practices, revamp army culture, recommendations to plug operational gaps, intelligence gatherings, and so on.

Instead, we are still playing from the same old military era rulebook, buy new equipment and think we can build a successful army when we haven’t addressed the human factor.

Let’s not get too hung up on this thread too, but read through the indices, study the dynamics of what NA failures is doing to communities.

IDP camps springing up in Northern states, food famine due to deserted farms, migration from the North, already impoverished families selling up lands to richer folks to be able to pay ransoms. Who should take the blame for this otherwise?
This raises a question, who is buying lands in bandits infested areas? Is there a game plan leading to master slave relationship in Nigeria?

It would seem the Tucanoes are going to be used mainly for ISR. The other six STs to be configured for interdiction would be used sparingly I expect.
I suspect Alpha Jets, J7NIs, JF17s and MI 35Ms would still be the main workhorses.

The surrendering is just an internal fracas, tho my concern remains not seeing those surrendering with weaponry . As at a week ago the Airforce guys I chilled with said the Super Tucanos have not arrived Maiduguri.

Tho I’ll still get much info today as Sunday is our regular sit out.

I still Dey Maiduguri, hopefully I’ll get back to my Dambisa zone next.
Thanks a lot..... I agree, the surrendering without weapons should really be frowned upon, i feel commanders in the field, should take in women and children and send the men back, to either return with weapons or be killed by iswap or give very actionable intelligence.
Regarding the airforce, I wouldn't be surprised if they strap them with dumb bombs and put the advance weapons in storage, as people who have entered the biggest armoury depots in Nigeria would tell you, if Nigeria really wants to end boko haram, they would in a matter of weeks only that a lot of civilians would die.

Hey samuel, have you been seeing the super tucano or the jf 17 in action in the north east , maybe fly by of hear gist from soldiers.
I really think these new platforms haven't been used, and the BHT surrendering isn't really because of military pressure instead internal bht political fallout, so the decamping to government.

What's your view on all this issues, considering that you are almost in the centre of the storm.

Npf, should have a qrf unit that follows actionable intelligence in real time, imagine the amount of bandits that would have been gotten, instead of this quick gain. It's like the political attention and media attention is higher than logic for bigger gains.
