harkindele:
the fact is that, u can actually combine any O-level result for admission, either GCE-GCE,WAEC-WAEC,,,or even neco gce, they are all olevel so u can combine them,
My dear, you are about saving a life. What if i want her to school abroad, would such results be acceptable in Europe?
Education › Can Two Gce Result Be Accepted For University Admission? by coolpapa(op): 6:52pm On Jan 02, 2011
Can two GCE result be accepted for University admission?

My kid sister's WAEC was a mass. She took the first GCE and she Credited English and Maths and two other subjects but the WAEC withheld her Economics and after two weeks, the Economics column was filled Absent. She argued that she took the exam, why did they mark her absent? Of course, the result could not earn her admission into UNI. She embarked on another GCE and made 8 credits including English but she got Maths = D7.

Can she combine both result in search of UNI admition?
Politics › Re: Bomb Blast: Al Jazeera Out To Destabilse Nigeria – Presidency by coolpapa: 8:59pm On Jan 01, 2011
9ijaMan:
Thanks for agreeing and disagreeing with me. Yes GEJ has not said Boko Haram was behind the Mogadishu Barracks bombing, but he has linked the two events claiming the bombs were the same. We all know that a so called sect have come out to claim responsibility for the Jos bombings. Would it be inaccurate to state that the same sect is behind the Mogadishu bombing? GEJ is only being miserly with words, Al-Jazeera stated the obvious!

Abeg what's so cynical about this whole episode. Jona has linked Mogadishu bombing with the Jos bombings so what falsehood has Al-Jazeera peddled if an "Islamic sect has already claimed responsibility for the Jos bombings. How difficult is it for you guys to understand grammar?
Thanks for given up by admitting that Al jazeera's speculation were all based on assumption. your illustration, already attested to it, so why should the Al-jazeera falsefully impose such deteriorating statement on GEJ. I'm sure you know the implication. Morally, ignorant could be accepted but legally, ignorant is not an excuss

9ijaMan:
Another lame attempt by an inept leader to divert attention to non issues. What's with GEJ and Al-Jazeera? Our president has a lot of national crises to contend with, yet he's busying himself with discrediting a news media outfit. GEJ's statement yesterday (delivered by Niboro) already showed where the government wants to face, yet they are here again denying a media organization that is simply stating the obvious.

Reading through other threads since the blast last night shows that the presidency is tacitly towing the religious line and poor Nigerians are falling for it, even when it's obvious that both Christians and Muslims were affected in the blast last nite.

Niboro should just keep his cavity shut and assist his weakling master to provide security for the citizenry.
is this a sort of political Cynical strategy against GEJ? I thing you should visit the looney bin if you are being affected with acute or Offensive Slang of Ima. He has enunciated the fact that GEJ is not aware of the Al Jeera's acclained fictituos news. You have the right to assume he could make sure comment but Ima, unbehalf of GEJ have reiterated by counterblowing the Al Jeera's harrowing and false news. Are you now subjecting GEJ to accept a statement he never made even if the assumption looks realhuh

We better decipher strategy to checkmate the culprits and permanently eradicate the impending  terrorism acts set to rebranding our country, nigeria

Politics › Re: Fashola Suspends Lekki Expressway Toll Collection by coolpapa: 1:22pm On Dec 30, 2010
No joke. I want this project to succeed so it can be replicated elsewhere in the SW. I'd be happy if the 3 or 4 hour drive from my village in Ekiti to Lagos were cut to 1 hour with a tolled expressway.

Imagine how beneficial that would be for both Lagos (cheaper farm goods) and Ekiti (cheaper goods from seaports.) And that is just two benefits, there are tons of others.

You sounds frustrated, why? how are my sure you are not the one contracted for the toll collection. That serves you right. and this time you better use you brain rather than from your ass. i doubt if you actually own a car or else you should have know that there are more to do with money as a car owner rather than wasting money out of extortion

we are all aware of the system in Nigeria, Nigeria as a nation lacks maintenance culture. i am very sure that not even a kobo realized from the toll collection (if effective) will be used for the same road maintenance when the time comes. meanwhile, i will prove it to you that most Nigerians are upto date with their direct and indirect tax. even the car owners pays more (in the name of MOT and what have you) which should be used for the maintenance of the roads but reverse is the case. Fashola has taken the right step at the right direction and i like that word "indefinite suspention"

Addendum, what if the very suspect kept f u c k ing her and eventually got her impregnated at the verge of her two weeks intended wedding schedule? and the suspect even denied the pregnancy when the truth was revealed, leaving the lady with no home she could call her's. true life experience

EWACHE AJEFU, ABUJA BUREAU CHIEF
PHOTO: CHAIRMAN OF DAAR COMMUNICATION, CHIEF RAYMOND DOKPESI.

ABUJA, Dec 08, (THEWILL) – A Federal High Court, Abuja Division today threw out a suit filed by Chairman of Daar Communications Plc and former Director General of the Presidential Campaign Organisation of General Ibrahim Babadamasi Babangida, Chief Raymond Dokpesi against the State Security Service (SSS) challenging his arrest and detention following its investigations into the Independence Day anniversary bomb blasts in Abuja.

Justice Abdul Kafarati dismissed the case following an application to withdraw the suit by Dokpesi’s counsel, Chief Kanu Godwin Agabi.

“The law is trite that once issues have been joined by parties to an action, any motion for discontinuance of the suit attracts an outright dismissal of the suit. I therefore urge your lordship to dismiss this suit, ” Alex Izinyon, counsel to the SSS submitted.

Based on Izinyon’s submission, Justice Kafarati agreed and thereafter dismissed Dokpesi’s action.

Chief Dokpesi had filed a suit asking the court to declare his arrest and detention unlawful.

The SSS had arrested and briefly detained Chief Dokpesi following revelations that he allegedly had contact with one or more of the alleged bombers four days before the blasts. The SSS alleged that Dokpesi passed on N4, 000, 000 (four million naira) to one of the suspects in SSS custody but Dokpesi has maintained that he has no hangs in the bombings.
