EXACTLY!!! Thank God someone else is seeing what we have been seeing.

That notion of "hold Buhari responsible for every crime committed by a Fulani man since he is also Fulani" is the demonic notion the bastard hateful children of the Fallen Angel have been trying to force Nigerians to accept.

It has not and will NEVER stick!

They can continue radicalising themselves as they please- when the bow breaks, they shall be rightly tagged the terrorists they are and treated as such.

God bless you Baba for speaking the truth, and God bless the President FRN (GCFR), Mohamadu Buhari. smiley

If you increase the tax fee on importation of rice it wont move the importers an inch as the tax would be added to the selling price.....na consumers go suffer am ooo.

Change is never sweet at first. Remember China.

Hope i made sense
I got you well, but don't forget is a competitive market and mr A might decide to sell cheaper than mr B depending on where he bought his goods from.I trust my Igbo brothers that believe in turnover to buy more goods and sell.Na only Yoruba man go sit down dey look say people will buy at his own fixed price.increase the tax to a bearable level and subsidize for the internal farmers.with that no one will force the importer to close shop.Anyway,FG has denied the development that there is no lifting of ban on Rice.Back to where we were.
BusinessRe: The Ban On Imported Rice Is Still In Effect - Nigerian Customs by coolplanet: 6:55pm On Oct 09, 2016
Freiden:
Yes! Let the ban be until we learn to feed on our own rice
I said it like a prophet but APC guys here won't listen.why stop importation when there is no alternative. U can add more money to tax of importation and bring strict measures on smuggling. Then encourage our local farmers by subsidising fertilisers. In such case, importation will gradually be discouraged since the cost will be high to bring them in and our internal produce will be massive to face off the imported ones

All what APC promised cannot be delivered. And it's same throughout the world. And whatever they promised was within their four year term. Not two years.

I've been voting since 1992 general elections. I campaigned and voted for MKO. That should give you an idea of my age.
I guess u knew they gave ultimatum on their promises despite knowing the economy was in recession.Till now,no one day meal for children in schools. No policy set out being achieved.was it operated same way in America during their own recession way back? Dont forget fashola said a reasonable govt should give power in 6months.I guess he knows better now.I equally campaigned for MKO.

Anyone who has a decent understanding of how economies work would know the principle of cause and effect. He will also know that an economy destroyed for sixteen years cannot be rebuilt in a year or even two without going through tough times. Change is not same as miracle!

If Bruce didn't talk about this nonsense, when last did the govt play the blame game? But if any of PDP sympathizers bring this issue up, we have tge right to remind Nigerians how we got here.
I got you,but why do you have to promise what you cant do all in the name of campaign .Do you know lie is equally a sin before God.Promise what you can do.in such case, you have integrity for not telling lies.As a lay man I knew all the promises cant be achieved as stated in their campaign that was why I refused to vote.Maybe you are young during obasanjos campaign,he promised heaven and earth.i voted for him but he let us down.i was even a card carrying member of pdp.i was in ota farm for the celebration. All politicians are same.Let God bring a messiah who is not sentimental in his approach.I pray

You'd think being educated translates to being well informed. Unfortunately the first doesn't guarantee the later.
Anyone who keeps saying we should stop blaming GEJ is being economical with the truth. The truth is GEJ wrecked Nigeria with his handling of the economy. He didn't have to blame anyone before him because NO ONE ELSE had been so clueless, dull and Ineffectual as himself.

If we still have any truly sane man doubting that Nigeria would have been long grounded had GEJ managed to rig himself in, such person needs to be constantly reminded where the Ineffectual Buffoon left us:
1. The IB was already borrowing to pay salaries when crude was selling at $75 per barrel. At $40 per barrel, what miracle will he have done?

2. The paper Economist, who supervised crashing of the economy clearly stated that Nigerians should brace up for tough times ahead the moment crude fell to around $65 per barrel. Does tough times mean merry making times at $40 per barrel?

3. Despite earning unprecedented amounts from crude, the IB couldn't grow our reserves but even embezzled what he met.

4. About 28 of 36 States were owing their workers for up to eight months in some cases and there was already hunger in the land. Why didn't GEJ bail them out? Had Buhari not come to intervene just about three months into his tenure, what would have happened to those workers then?

Recently, the Gele woman who couldn't choose to resign to protect her name, revealed in a well publicized video that GEJ had zero will to save. Where there's shame, she will apologize to Nigerians for wasting our resources in times of abundance.

Nigerians indeed lack capacity for critical thinking. And it's the reason we will continue to be taken for a ride by the looters. We see those who genuinely are working for our betterment as enemies while blindly praising the real enemies as benefactors just because of crumbs of today. This is indeed very shameful!
If you feel u know better, in accounting there is what we call asset and liability. During handover period, all these were given to the govt of the day and he signed.
What is the word CHANGE if not to correct mistakes of the past.
when you blame, you cant progress.
Bible says remember not the former things or the things of old. i guess you have not come across that scripture.
for instance, if a management mismanages the activities of the organization and was sacked, a new management comes on board to do a transformation. The new management will not give excuse to the board of directors that it cant manage the process due to the past mismanagement. The new management proffers solutions by coming up with sound policies that will make them meet their goals and objectives. With this, i believed you are lectured.
You can blame Jonathan forever but nobody,i repeat nobody can pull his hair off muchmore arresting him.
If not for him,you and I might not be alive to write .he showed respect to our soul by handing over honourably.this shows he has the fear of God.I am not supporting his shortcoming but we need not to blame but look for solutions.

This is Buharis problem now. Its a challenge he needs to face head on. There is no need to critisize the former government cos that is in the past. The problem with Buhari is that he is focusing on the past(blaming PDP), without working on the present in order to secure the future.
We are in a mess no doubt about that, but we need a strong captain an intelligent leader who will lead us through this storm. Sadly, Buhari aint it!
God bless u,I use to tell ignorant people that all assets and liabilities of the past govt has been handed over to the new administration. The past administration has nothing to do with it anymore.Buhari can only probe the account. The main reason for Buharis failure is becos he focuses on the past and couldn't project for the future.

PoliticsRe: Buhari And Osinbajo, The Moses And Aaron Of Our Time by coolplanet: 3:00pm On Sep 04, 2016
Toks2008:
President Buhari like the moses in the Bible was sent packing from the position of authority some years back but made a come back to be the leader.

This time around he did not come back with the background he was known for as a military man but as a civilian just like moses who was known to be part of pharaoh's household came back as an unassuming fellow to lead the Israelites out of Egypt to the promise land.

I don't know what anyone else believes but I strongly believe that President Buhari is the moses of our time that will lead us out of our Egypt experience, take us through the wilderness experience but may likely not enter the promise land with us.

Now let's see the allegory;

In the life of every human or nation, there is always the Egypt experience, the wilderness experience before the promise land experience.

During the Egypt experience, the situation may seem OK but it is a disguised bondage but if you decide to leave your Egypt experience, you must be ready for a very tough wilderness experience that will make you wish you go back to Egypt.

The wilderness experience is a must for anyone or any nation desiring a promise land and those who prefer to create a comfort zone in their Egypt experience will never see the promise land.

The Buhari and Osinbanjo led government are like the Moses and Aaron of our time and the years we thought were OK in the Egypt experience only seem to be because we were in great bondage to leaders who looted our treasury with impunity while patting our heads with a ticking time bomb.

The years we thought we were OK in our Egypt experience were the years our leaders fed fat on the abundance inflow of good profits from our crude oil while throwing crumbs to the floor for us to feed on.

Like the Israelites who were already frustrated with their condition and needed a quick fix, their wilderness experience was tough and very discouraging which made them doubt the competence of Moses and Aaron and in like manner,Nigerians have gone through years of frustration and in need of a quick fix but unfortunately undergoing very very tough times which is a wilderness experience for us and this has made most Nigerians doubt the competence of President Buhari and vice president Osinbanjo.

The Israelites said to Moses and Aaron,
"If only we had died by the LORD's hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death." Exodus 16:3

Yes like Moses and Aaron who made series of mistakes, it is expected for our leaders to make mistakes too but just as some Israelites persevered, prayed and supported Moses and Aaron which saw them to the promise land, let us pray and believe in the course of this seemingly "clueless" government and I'm positive that we shall get to the promise land.

Lastly, we must understand that Moses and Aaron started the journey with Israelites to the promise land but not even one of their generations who left Egypt entered the promise land but it was Joshua who eventually led the younger Israelites into it so in like manner, it just might be a Joshua who is yet unknown that will lead us to the promise land but the journey has begun and together we can channel a new course for the coming generation into a new Nigeria that will be the envy of the whole world.

Let us blame and curse less but be hopeful and let us support this government by offering viable advice and raising our voices in unity to ask questions if we are not OK with any government policy and together we will create a greater and better Nigeria for the generations to come because the journey from Egypt to the promise land will not happen overnight but we will surely get there.

God bless the Federal republic of Nigeria.
I strongly believe they are the moses and Aaron but did not get to the promised land.we need a Joshua who is young and vibrant and have the fear of God.or even a messiah to take us to the land filled with milk and honey.we shall get there soonest but God needs to send this once away for the Messiah to come.
