Politics › Re: Rebuttal:nigeria Needs Igbo Hatred To Survive As One,by Tylerdunden by coolscott(m): 3:12am On Jul 20, 2018 |
alhassanyusuf29: it's essential and important to lay down bare facts regarding the infamous myth propagated by igbos playing on victim card mentality regarding the issue of hate, loath and antagonistic tendencies shown to them by other tribes
The 1966 Nigerian coup d'état(igbo coup) January 15, 1966, when mutinous Nigerian soldiers led by Kaduna Nzeogwu and Emmanuel Ifeajuna killed 22 people including the Prime Minister of Nigeria, many senior politicians, many senior Army officers (including their wives), and sentinels on protective duty. The coup plotters attacked the cities of Kaduna, Ibadan, and Lagos while also blockading the Niger and Benue River within a two-day span of time before the coup plotters were subdued. The General Officer Commanding, of the Nigerian Army, Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi then used the coup as a pretext to annex power, ending Nigeria's nascent democracy. It was one of the events that led to the Nigerian Civil War. Conspirators Maj. Kaduna Nzeogwu (Igbo) Maj. Adewale Ademoyega (Yoruba) Maj. Emmanuel Ifeajuna (Igbo) Maj. Timothy Onwuatuegwu (Igbo) Maj. Chris Anuforo (Igbo) Maj. Humphrey Chukwuka (Igbo) Maj. Don Okafor (Igbo) Capt. Ogbo Oji (Igbo) Casualties Prime Minister Abubakar Balewa (fulani) Premier Ahmadu Bello (Fulani) Premier Samuel Akintola (Yoruba) Finance Minister Festus Okotie-Eboh (Itsekiri) Gen. Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi (Igbo) Brig. Samuel Ademulegun (Yoruba) Brig. Zakariya Maimalari (fulani) Col. Kur Mohammed (fulani) Col. Ralph Shodeinde (Yoruba) Lt. Col. Yakubu Gowon (Ngas) Lt. Col. Abogo Largema (Kanuri) Lt. Col. James Pam (Berom) Lt. Col. Arthur Unegbe (Igbo) Lt. Col. Conrad Nwawo (Igbo) Maj. Hassan Katsina (Fulani)
the seed of discord, hate and animosity was first planted by the igbo's through the 1966 coup, which led to the civil war and chain of events till this very present day.. Nobody hates you bcuz you're from the lineage of jews(as u claim),hard working, blessed or "the fear that the Igbos may eventually come to dominate the northern political space which eventually will erode the powerful traditional northern elite power structure, ull never be able to do that, base on the structure and population of the hausa/fulani and other willing minorities compared to that of igbo
over 3m igbos are doing business peacefully in kano alone and other various northern states.. Take a chill pill!! there are over 500 ethnic tribes in Nigeria before you start feeling all important,it's not all about you people pls!
u claim the sole reason APC elites were agaisnt GJ was bcuz he mainly appointed igbos
its a fact that igbos are the most tribalistic people amongst all the tribes in Nigeria!! ain't no sugar coating it,you cant dispute that, plain truth!!,simple..its only this segment of people that try to defend, protest and protect a politicain from their region no matter the offence he/she committed simply bcuz his/she is from that specific region..is like their the only angelic being since inception that Nigeria had ever have regarding governace
no wonder you prolly didn't see any atrocities the angelic GJ commit during his reign of impunity solely bcuz his one of you, even though the ijaw have moved on..hypocrisy is deeply ingrained in you that's u overlook acts, such as:
1. Army raid on newspaper houses 2. Immigration recruitment scam and death 3. Extra judicial killings 4. Occupy Nigeria protests and soldiers 5. Boko Haram killings 6. Corruption "stealing is not corruption"
do any of these sound familiar to you?
the basic truth is that GJ got botted and rejected in the polls, bcuz he was ineffective, bereft of ideas and incapable to govern, not bcuz he appointed majority SE/SS indigenes
other factor that made him lose out was the breach of zoning/rotation agreement between north and south, which made political elites, including his beneficiary obasanjo to turn on him
kiss the undiluted truth and stop wailing I didn't even read the thread you are rebutting. There are things that emanate from them today that I do not even give my attention. Persecution complex is tonic to the Igbo soul |

wakaman: Now listen! I agree lives are being lost, people are being maimed, people are being displaced, whole towns and villages are being left desolate. My sympathies and condolences. May the dead rest in peace and the affected living find succour in these very trying times.
But here, you have not condemned the criminals and marauders who have decided for various reasons be it political, tribal, religious and pure criminal intents. All you do is to blame Buhari and fan embers of hate and bigotry with your unreasonable and unguarded outbursts.
The First step to being progressive is to be able to observe without sentiments, process your observations without sentiments and subsequently act without sentiments.
You even further confirmed your bias by saying Buhari's Fulani agenda, that's the pointer to your bigotry.
If you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem. byteem

Whosentyou: Hello house, please I need your advice on this matter. Both insult and criticism are welcomed.
I met this girl on sept 2011 while doing my industrial attachment and we've been dating since then. I was planning to settle down with her last year April since I had gotten a job in 2015. I have met her parents and I was preparing for introduction when I lost my job in January last year. I didn't want to spend all my savings on that so I paused the marriage stuff until I could secure another source of income. But things went haywire. Months were passing without any source of income and she was pressuring for marriage. I told her to be patient till I get something to hold on to before I embark on that journey.
We were really in love. I loved her so much that she was part of me. Everyone around knew about us. My mum and grandmum loved her and they recommended her for me. Her siblings and parent like me too. Things became rough with me later but yet she was pressuring for marriage. I left for Lagos to look for a greener pasture. I attended interviews upon interviews hoping for something better though I took up a teaching job whose pay was not even up to 50k compare to how life is in Lagos.
One day something told me to login to her Facebook account(we both have access to each other's Facebook account). Then i saw the shock of my life. I saw her chats with a guy she slept with. They even discussed about marriage. I screenshot the whole chats(about 52 screenshots). I confronted her but she denied saying the guy was just a friend. She even accused of me of accusing her of cheating. I couldn't hold my patience so I sent her the screenshots. Then she denied saying she didn't sleep with the guy and all those shits ladies would say to defend themselves. She pleaded for forgiveness and I forgave her but I told her I needed a break. I told her to go marry if marriage was her concern that I was not financially buoyant enough to take up that responsibility so we went her separate ways. Meanwhile I didn't tell my parents nor her parents about whatever transpired between us except some few friends who knew about us.
10 months later I lost my mum due to illness I have spent all my money on yet I couldn't save her. As the only child the responsibility of burial rites is on my head so things are so tight with me. The girl heard about my mum's dead and came to visit me in the village. She was crying all through though I tried to console her....hmmmm. Later I asked her about her husband and all the guys that promised her marriage. She told me she has not accepted any of their proposal yet though she was planning to choose one of them on her birthday. About a week later she called I told me she wants me back that I am the one she wants to settle down with. I told her point blank that I'm not ready for marriage pressure and moreover I need money to bury my mum. She kept disturbing and pleaded that she won't cheat again. I forgave her and took her back. I love her though.
Now she is telling me to impregnate her so that other guys disturbing her can let her be. I told her the implications of that and how I can't father a child for now owing to the fact that I barely feed myself talk more of buying pampers and feeding her too. Moreover I'm still struggling for money to bury my mum so I can return to Lagos to continue my hustling.
My people what should I do with this girl? She is desperately serious about it. She said she doesn't want any guy except me. So to secure me for the future I should impregnate her that she will take care of the baby. For me it is a NO! But I need your contribution.
PS: She is working and living in her own apartment away from home but the pay is not much.
Pardon my grammatical blunders. Be sure she is not already pregnant for someone else. If she is not, she truly loves you. Meanwhile, doing it God's way is the best. Sleep with only the person you are married to. Removes a lot of emotional heart ache. I recommend being tutored under Toyin Omotosho (on how money is really being made online without all that inviting people) for 1 year. Before the year is over, you won't need a job anymore. He is in Lagos. Find him. Google. Perhaps for the rest of your life |

In the first place, people wanting to form their country are not necessarily terrorists unless they carry out terrorist activities in trying to achieve their goal. They care called seccesionists. Otherwise, all of Scottland should be called terrorists for attempting to leave the UK.
On the other hand, whether it is with intention to educate children, or to raise cattle, or because of religious belief, no matter the intent, so long as you are carrying out terrorist activities, (administering terror on people through any chosen form of violence to humanity) that is what makes you a terrorist. |

The Rich people belongs to the Elite while the poor people belongs to the masses, these Rich people irrespect of there political Coloration dine and wine together, they would sold the seed of tribalism and Religion bigotry to the Masses, how ever the masses will be insulting themselves without any gain for the Nation development.... Let us stop all these APC/PDP Brouhaha and build our dear nation. Even if we categorise the people into the elite and the masses. And then we further classify the elites into i). rulers ii) leaders and iii) just influential we will still see differences in priorities and intentions among all mentioned categories For eg, it will be clear to us that not even the most brutal dictators descended into allowing any group of Nigerians kill other groups of Nigerians at will. On the contrary, they were least tolerant of anything resembling such brazen attempts to "try" the government. So in this case, it will not be true to say that we cannot all feel the difference between the priorities and intentions of those in power today and any govt that has led Nigeria from the 80s till date |

Remembering that news has filtered into the public domain that Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom's position not to dismantle the anti open grazing law which emerged after several long months of due process, the APC at the center is unhappy with him and has made its decision to push him out...
...is it possible that Having Fayemi in power in Ekiti, makes it easy for that state to soften its position on killer herdsmen?
Is it possible that this forms a reason for the unexplained higher level of desperation than we expected, by the APC, to do all it can to win Ekiti?
Even at the risk of turning the people against the APC by the kind of assault meted out on the government house of Ekiti earlier today? |
