jp philips: The last time i told a ph boy that PH is a village he nearly fought with me so i understand completely where your frustration is coming from, PH guys like you who have not left your comfort zone have no idea what a real city looks like, i will still get you the inside pictures of those health centers so that people outside ph will ask Amaechi some questions, in your own case, he that is down fears no fall.Your lies will never stand. Every city in the world has shanties, if you go around searching for some shanties in phc to justify that Amaechi is not doing well, for sure you have failed. The man is light years ahead of Jonathan whom am sure is your basis of engaging in this arguement against Amaechi. For anybody that stays in Phc or Rivers state generally can attest there is true dividends of good governance. From youth empowerment, quality education, health care, infrastructural development and security are above eighty percent in Amaechi's government. I nominate Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for president of Nigeria 2015. He had shoes and can be trusted. |
It is very annoying the way some people who support a tyrant like GEJ come here to tell lies about Chibuike Amechi. In terms of delivering dividends of democracy, no state government in this country can match this man. His greatest achievement is being able to transform the psyche of Rivers indiegenes from thuggery, begging and other vices to being hard workers and responsible citizens. Amaechi wants his name to be written in Gold while our president and Dame want all the money, power and no legacy after they leave aso rock. God will bless Amaechi and take him higher. |
gramci: See as amaechi look like outcastBut the outcast is the one calling the shots. If there is a popularity vote today am pretty sure Amaechi will beat Jonathan hands down. Presently he is the most popular Nigerian governor both amongst the politicians and the people. For me the best Jonathan can do is go underground and fight Amaechi otherwise his fortunes will keep going down with 2015 ambitions shattered. |
SUBMARINE: Very soon OBJ the instigator will crawl back to GEJ begging him to tamper justice with mercy.Mind you GEJ is on his knees begging OBJ, he has even agreed to give Andy Ubah the Anambra PDP gubernatorial ticket. Sure Obj is considering him but the problem is how will Obj confront the northerners who he cowed to support GEJ in 2011 promising he will hand over back to them in 2015. The problem is really difficult to sort out. |
Broken TV: Roachers is the worst thing that ever happened to the people of imo. My advice to him is he should not chew more than he can bite.I hope you know Rochas is Imo governor not Anambra. Better speak for Obi and leave Imo alone. We love Rochas and we are satisfied with his tendencies so far. |
No amount of propaganda or campaign to smear the image of Rochas by some never do wells and states shall stand. Action they say speaks a volume, Rochas is God sent and has continued to deliver on the mandate given to him by Imolites. For those our neighbors jealous of what Rochas is doing in Imo state its time for you to vote your own governor who will do better than Rochas than coming to nairaland to show your height of jealousy and bigotry. |
Bandit C.:I guess you are one of the nairaland e warriors of the dead PDP but let me assure you one thing, Rochas will win Imo governorship election if its re contested today again. The fact that you mentioned that he accepts other Nigerians is a plus and as an Imolite am very proud my governor is like that and not a bigot who discriminates people because of religion, origin and political beliefs. God bless Rochas, God bless Imo state and God bless Nigeria. |
APGA is dead and awaiting burial. APGA won elections in Imo state because of Okorocha and before Rochas, APGA was never a party to be reckoned with in Imo state. PPA, ANPP, Labour Party were all far ahead of APGA in Imo. Okorocha came to APGA because then it was free from the shackles of PDP. Today's existing APGA is an appendage of the PDP. So Okorocha made the wisest decision to leave APGA PDP for progress to be made in Imo state. |
ckkris: Jona rules till 2019You need to pray he survives till 2015. From the way things are going, he might be heading for the rocks in this his tenure. |
chukwudi44: I think the dude now wants to fight dirty. He has been pushed to the wallI thought he was Alpha and Omega, thought he does what he wants at will and nobody dares ask questions so now he is willing to negotiate. Meanwhile majority of his supporters are sitting on the fence waiting to switch sides in any eventuality. His last game plan which is to divide Nigeria as a country will also fail and he would definitely face the music after that. |
Last time I checked Jonathan is from the south south region so what's the interest of those calling south east names. |
aduboy: You are too forgetful, Yaradua is the factor that the did the magic. Atiku was alone then and not now. GEJ needs to press the panic button because PDP is about to be be destroyed. And yerima who was supposed to be GEJ's joker has been totally destroyed politically, can't figure out any remedy to this political quagmire that PDP are facing. Some people have to go on their knees the way Obj did in 2003 otherwise it would be goodbye to aso rock and possibly welcome to kirikiri. |
She is very unpopular (negative popularity). She is not known for anything good. The woman is just a big joke. I really feel for the husband our president. I don't wish my enemy such a woman as a wife because surely the house will be nothing different from hell. |
Beginning of end of PDP. The nucleus has pulled out. 2015 will be very interesting. GEJ needs to go beg Amaechi and co because they are about doing to PDP what GEJ did to governors forum. |
http://mobile.saharareporters.com/press-release/press-release-inec-registers-atikus-party-and-another-new-group Press Release: INEC Registers Atiku's Party and Another New Group The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has registered two new political parties in accordance with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as Amended) and the Electoral Act 2010 (as Amended). Pontaboki :Am from iho in Ikeduru LGA and it will be Rochas come rain come sunshine in Imo. He is loved by the people and writing trash on nairaland is far from what is on ground. He has liberated and opened the eyes of imolites. Am sure after Rochas, leaders will only serve not loot. |
Pontaboki :You are not from Imo state, I can bet anything. The guy is the best thing to happen to our state in this democratic dispensation. |
Billyonaire: Shameful! Very shameful!! Imo State receives average of 8 billion naira every 4 weeks and this is what we see. It doesnt cost me 25 million naira to build up a 5 bedroom duplex in Lagos and these Politician receives approximately 8 billion naira every 4 weeks but can not build excellent schools. Whats all this BS of erecting slaps as walls for schools. This is an accident waiting to happen. And what has your GEJ and his cabal of Boko haram done with all the money that Nigeria has earned during this oil boom apart from empowering militants and sponsoring boko haram. Remember Azazi's quote. |
asha 80: i really do not like the yardstick of using owerri to determine whether a government is working or not.owerri just has 3 out of 27 local governments in imo state.what about others? My brother their is change and a positive one. Owerri was never like that and has never witnessed such change. I spent five years in the university in that town in the era of the military. Even at the civilian regime till ohakim and earlier parts of rochas administration that I visited, I can swear the change I saw in particular within owerri metropolis within this eight months I visited last made me humble. Its just miraculous I must confess. |
Just came from owerri today, went for a traditional wedding at Ogwa. It was about eight months back that I visited Imo state last but I must confess that Okorocha is the man. I was lost in owerri, I couldn't realize or recognize places again. The place is totally transformed. I wonder those talking trash about Rochas here are blind. The worst of all is somebody comparing ohakim with Rochas. Light and darkness are not comparable |
nwekesimon68: .Pls house Ameachi major in English language nt political science. He withraw 4rm political science bkos of his inability to hav 1.0 cgpa. English department accepted him and he graduated wit 3rd class. But presido GEJ cannot stand Amaechi even with his Phd. Amaechi is more articulate, intelligent and eloquent. Reminds me of US president Barak Obama, I just wonder why some people prefer dull heads to govern them when some people like Amaechi are there. If GEJ comes on hard talk, you will be so ashamed to be a Nigerian. |
This cause is what I expect Dame PEJ to champion. She is busy chasing Rotimi Amaechi and causing trouble in Rivers state. |
seunfly: Shoud we support or against things/people base on tribe or geniune reason? If i is left to some igbos here on Nairaland Jonathan would not have become president because they will stand blindly behind Turai Yaradua saga if she is an igbo woman or ijaw woman.I want to stop the notion that support for Jonathan is synonymous to our people Igbos based on our tribe and anybody that doesn't support him is an outcast. I was supporting Jonathan with a free mind not minding his tribe but I can sincerely say that his performance is way very poor. His wife is a disgrace to even a low family talkless of the highest office. For now that I no longer support him, nobody should say because am igbo I should keep quiet because am pretty sure his own ijaw people will not attach such sentiments when an igbo is involved. |
warrior01: No! You are not a full blooded igbo man. You've eaten ofe mmanu.I have an information for you, no ijaw man would stand by an igbo man the way some igbos on nairaland support the daft Jonathan. They hate us beyond any imagination over nothing. At every slight opportunity, they always seek pound of flesh from us. I may support Jonathan as an ordinary Nigerian but as an igbo man not at all. So people like you should stop making Jonathan and his wife's support synonymous with igbos. |
oily+Yoruba:Am igbo too and I do not fancy the joke called Jonathan. His wife Patience is a living example of a moving disgrace in human skin. I detest in strong terms associating Jonathan's support with Igbos because Ijaws will never support an igbo man even if he is doing very well talk less if the person is as daft as Jonathan. |
Afam4eva: Is there any pointer to the fact that he was killed or you're just making something up.The aircraft carrying him exploded mid air from eye witness accounts. From recorded aircraft crash investigations, mid air explosions happen because of bomb or rocket attacks. The usual thing is for the aircraft to explode with ground impact. Azazi was marked for death already for exposing the complicity of the ruling party in the Boko haram saga and that was the best opportunity to eliminate him. |
careytommy: Rascal governorGEJ is a gentle militant. |
I foresee anarchy in Niger delta courtesy of GEJ and his cohorts, they want to set the niger delta on fire in the name of fighting Amaechi. Since militants are now lawmakers that will impeach a governor. Let's watch out for the magic. This saga may end up bringing in the khaki boys from the way its going. |
One funny thing about this man Peter Obi is that he sees everybody apart from himself as a 'mugu' and also he can lie a lot. The only good thing he did was that he invested most of his loot in Nigeria. |
ossagy: more pictures of Owerri. i just reserved this in my phone. this is popular Okigwe road in Owerri city center. road blocks are mounted everywhere due to insecurity. heaps of dirts are heaped everywhere, meanwhile rochas is in yorubaland prostrating to tinubu.Fake pictures, this is not okigwe road. This is Rivers - Imo boundary highway, umuapu precisely. Its still under construction by niger delta ministry. The check point is the normal boundary police checkpoint. Stop fake lies please. |
