Rochas is the best in reality though not perfect. With the little resources Imo have been able to attain giant strides in education, agriculture, health care, international relations and infrastructure. So what are the basis for the ranking. I smell rat and smear campaign by failed politicians. For sure propaganda cannot bring down notable and verifiable achievements of Rochas in IMO state.

Political lies!! How could he have finished 50 units of 2 bedroom houses in 100 days? Na bacha? All he did was to finish the houses started by amaechi. He only painted them.
What Wike did was road rehabilitation. Please u first and that road construction involved scarifying the top of the road, filling with laterite, compaction and stone base, before asphalting. What Wike is doing now is road resurfacing and patching, which involves only resurfacing. That can be done during raining season. Even during amaechi era, contractors like Lubrik and MCC were using cement to work instead of laterite. But it's more expensive. The Law faculty, he only fixed the doors and windows and painted it. Let's not be deceived by propaganda. The elabuchi road Wike is boasting he completed, what was remaining to open that road bfor amaechi left was N90m for final wearing course/asphalt. If Wike wants us to commend him for road rehabilitation, no wahala. He took a loan of N30b and collected monthly average allocation of N10b and IGR of N10b per month also. All we are seeing is N4b contract to odili to furnish Govt house and such other funny contracts. Enuf of the deceit!!
Leave PDP, as they can only deceive themselves. Rivers under Wike is so dirty, insecure and dilapidated. He has created unemployment like PDP promised in the presidential campaign. Going to take pictures of projects executed by Amaechi to post on nairaland cannot help this caretaker governor.

Am Igbo and in Buhari for now I trust. I will confirm Buhari's hatred for Igbos if he continues with Jonathan's legacy. Jonathan's legacy of neglecting the entire south east in terms of infrastructure. Appointing Stella Oduah and Ihejirika to fatten their pockets while neglecting second Niger Bridge, Onitsha enugu express, enugu PH express, Aba Ikot Ekpene, Owerri Portharcourt express is the real hatred. I suspect an arm of the PDP not Ohaneze making this statement.

PoliticsFani-kayode Not A Member Of PDP, NWC Calls For Investigation by cooltone(op): 7:57pm On May 20, 2015
The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has written the state chairman in Osun state questioning the membership of Femi Fani-Kayode the Director, Media and Publicity, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organisation.

The move by PDP NWC follows accusation by Fani-Kayode that some members of the committee worked for the opposition party, All Progressives Congress during the last election.

In a letter signed by Prof Wale Oladipo, the national secretary of the PDP, the committee questioned Fani-Kayode’s status and called for an investigation. “The NWC at its meeting held on Wednesday, 20th May, 2015 reviewed the press war mounted against it by Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode and therefore request: 1. To investigate the membership status of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode”

“2. If he is a registered and financial member, proper disciplinary actions should be meted against him through the Ward for engaging in acts contrary to Section 58 (1) (b) of the Party Constitution 3. If not a member, you are to reprimand him as an usurper. 4. Furthermore, all actions taken should be communicated to the National Working Committee,” the statement read.

This is the evidence of unpopularity of PDP in Imo state and Igbo land in general. The saTANs always created impression that pdp is loved by Igbos, this is what they usually do, steal the people's mandates in connivance with some security agents and INEC officials. Opposition PDP don't want stolen mandates recovered from them by lawful means. They are already perceiving a biased judiciary before the tribunal proper.
PoliticsAPC Planning To Use Tribunals To Steal Our Little Victories, PDP Cries Out by cooltone(op): 7:21am On Apr 22, 2015
The Peoples Democratic Party has said the All Progressives Congress is planning to use the various election petition tribunals across the states to take away the victories recorded by the party.

The APC defeated the PDP in the. March 28 presidential election. The party also defeated the PDP in a number of states, especially the north and south western states in the April 11 governorship elections.

Rising from a meeting of the National Working Committee and governor and Senators-elect under its platform in Abuja on Tuesday, the PDP warned that the APC is “planning to use the tribunals and ‘salamic’ arrangements to truncate and subvert the freely given mandate by the people in the states and constituencies”.

The outcome of the meeting, which was contained in a communiqué read by George Sekibo, a Senator-elect from Rivers state, also said the meeting vehemently frowns at the “shameless undemocratic ways and means being displayed by the outgoing APC lawmakers in Ekiti state towards effecting an unconstitutional change in government”.

The meeting equally expressed deep concerns at what it said was the plans by the APC to make the Nigeria a one-party state using crude and underhand undemocratic practice and thus reverse the gains of the PDP-led administration.

They also asked the Independent National Electoral Commission to be forthright and impartial in the handling of the various elections pending in Abia, Imo and Taraba states.

The meeting also commended President Goodluck Jonathan for his statesmanly disposition towards the sustenance of democracy and peace in the country.

The PDP said it frowned at the “unprecedented level of intimidation, harassment and undue persecution of the party members since the INEC declaration of the APC candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari”.

It also congratulated all the winners on the platform of the PDP in the elections and urge them to discharge their duties and form a formidable opposition that can redirect the fortunes of the country and sustain the gains of the present democratic era led by President Jonathan.

“The meeting stressed the importance of unity, peace and harmony in the party for effectiveness in its new role and warned that it will not condone agents of APC working as fifth columnists to destabilize the leadership of the party,” the communiqué said.

PoliticsPDP Wants Imo Governorship Election Result Cancelled by cooltone(op): 12:24am On Apr 14, 2015
Peoples Democratic Party has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission to cancel the result of the governorship election in Imo State.
The Commission had on Sunday night declared the election inconclusive and ordered a supplementary poll on a date yet to be fixed.
The INEC Returning Officer in the state, Ibidapo Obe, said electoral malpractices were detected in some local government areas.
Before the election was declared inconclusive, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress,
incumbent governor Rochas Okorocha, was leading his PDP challenger by 385,671 votes to 306,142.
The spokesperson of the PDP, Olisa Metuh, said at a press conference in Abuja on Monday, “There is genuine demand for immediate halt and cancellation of Imo election. In Orlu East the Resident Electoral Commission confessed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) forced them at gun point to announced the result. The REC and the police confessed that they were working for the governor.
“In Ideato North there were no elections. INEC should order fresh election. In the next one week, there should be fresh election. Let the will of the people prevail. We want genuine democracy.
“We are stressing this cancellation because the result has not been announced and the election has been declared inconclusive, that is why we are demanding the immediate cancellation. If INEC refuses to cancel the election, let it go back to the results that were collated at the polling units, where PDP was leading.”
In a statement earlier in the day, the ruling party had questioned the conduct of some INEC officials and security agencies during Saturday’s Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections.
In the statement signed by Mr. Metuh, the party alleged that the elections were characterized by widespread irregularities supported by certain INEC and security officials to the advantage of the APC. He wondered if such officials were intimidated by APC’s blackmail and propaganda to deliver its candidates in the polls.
“Evidences abound of widespread irregularities across the country with INEC rejecting results from the strongholds of PDP candidates for no just cause while accepting the those of the APC,” he said.
“In Lagos, Adamawa, Plateau, Benue, Kwara, Ogun, Oyo, Kano, Jigawa, Bauchi, Nasarawa, Niger, Yobe, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi and Imo states, there are proofs of electoral manipulations ranging from underage voting, ballot stuffing and intimidation of PDP supporters to alteration of some aspects of the process in favour of APC.
“In Abia state, but for the outcry of the people and timely intervention of the INEC headquarters which rejected the illegal cancellation of results from three local governments and strongholds of the PDP by the State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) even after they have been announced by the returning officers, the PDP would have been robbed of its well deserved victory in those areas.”
The PDP said as a responsible party committed to national unity and democracy, its members had remained peaceful and orderly.
It noted that its candidates had been conceding defeat in the interest of peace while it elected to channel our protest to the appropriate quarters.
“The same have not been seen of the APC, which has unleashed its members to cause mayhem and harass our supporters in states where PDP candidates clearly won, such as Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Ondo, Rivers and Gombe states,” It said.
The party urged INEC to take disciplinary actions against its erring officials.
“We strongly call to question the sincerity of some of the observers especially regarding their failure to raise issues on the irregularities that characterized the voting pattern in most of the states where APC candidates have been declared winner,” it said.
The PDP asked all its elected and appointed officials to be ready to make sacrifices, ensure judicious use of resources and gear up for a rescue mission in the overall interest of the Nigerian people

my dear, I've been wondering about that a lot too. Seeing people praising that party(especially in Imo state), I still look on in disbelief.
A party that had been in power in that state far longer than any other, and in all that time failed the people, to the point they were chased out. Only to have the same people praising and welcoming them just because they think one man is a sell out?
May thuggery, hooliganism and especially cries of 'we made a mistake' not be their portion.
PDP died in Imo state in 2011. Imo people are not naive politically as obtained in other south eastern states. They tried to resurrect pdp in Imo by pitching mbaise clan against other imolites. That idea failed woefully
