A LESSON FOR ALL NIGERIANS
Mubi, the biggest commercial town in Adamawa state, was thrown into chaos the day Boko Haram descended on them and the people found themselves running for their lives. The terrorists shot sporadically, killing a lot of people while those who could escape jumped into any available car to run to safety. Christians, Muslims, Igbos, Yorubas, Tivs, Hausas and any tribe or religion, jumped onto any vehicle that was headed outside the town. Soldiers scampered onto trucks with civilians, begging to be saved, hundreds of people who could not get a vehicle ran into the hills. In their frantic effort to stay alive, no one paid attention to anybody's religion or ethnicity before asking them for help or helping them to stay alive. It was a community of people, united by their desire to escape the common enemy that hunted them all without discrimination. Ethnicity and religion vanished, all they were left with was their humanity. Those climbing the hills stayed together, helping one another stay on their feet as they all tried to survive.

The most interesting part of the narrative is that the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Marshal Badeh is from the same town of Mubi. It has been reported that few hours before the attack, helicopters flew in and evacuated his family members from the town. The chief of Defence staff by the way, is the most senior military officer in Nigeria and he controls the army, navy and air force. Before that sad day, someone from Mubi would have boasted that the Chief of Defence Staff is from their home town. But on the day that it mattered the most, he evacuated only his family members and abandoned everyone else to their fate. It means he had information of the impending attack and as the most senior military commander, he did not fly into the town to lead his men to battle to defend his community. He quietly saved only his family and left even the soldiers without an inspiring commander to motivate them to engage the terrorists and defend his community.

One lesson all Nigerians must learn from this story is that as a people, all we have is our neighbours. When you need some help at home, you knock on the door of your neighbour. The president, governor, senator or minister is not there to help you. Why then should you continue to fight your neighbour because of a man or woman who cares only about his own family? Our elites may deceive us about sharing the same religion or ethnicity with us, but time and again, they have proven that they do not care. We have been fools, killing one another on the basis of religion and ethnicity while they stay united across all the divides and plunder our wealth. The time has come for us to rise, educate one another and unite to fight our biggest common enemy. The politicians are our enemies and not the poor struggling men and women in our neighbourhoods.

What now will the people of Mubi boast about as the gain of having their son as the chief of Defence Staff? If you go to Otueke where Jonathan comes from, there are many people who live in excruciating poverty! There is still a lot of poverty and suffering in the home towns of all our governors, ministers, parliamentarians and former presidents, while they and their families live in scandalous affluence. The minister of petroleum spent over 10 billion Naira on a private jet. That money can end the poverty of several communities in her state. Stella Oduah bought two cars with 120 million Naira while there are people in her home town who can't afford 500 Naira to feed their family in a day. The time to throw away the sentiments is now! Support only a man or woman who has a just heart and will serve everyone and every community regardless of if they come from there or not. The moment anyone begins to talk to you about religion or ethnicity, reject him summarily! We need leaders who will unite us because our shared humanity is greater than any differences between us. And if someone does something wrong or fails in governance, do not support them simply because they're your own. Share the message.

It was in my 200L. So one very faithfully day, I saw a beautiful young lady during 1 of my departmental course. She's 4rm a neighboring dept taken the course with us. Unknown to me she's in her final year just taken a CO with us. B4 I got the courage to approach her the semester was over. It took me 2 more years to finally get her contact thru a friend. I called and introduced myself as a secret admirer then she smiled. I described her smile as "rays of sunshine so warm and inviting". We spoke at length. At last she ask if I can share my pic with her due to distance barrier which I did and that's hw we became the best of friends...unfortunately for me sm1 proposed to her. Till today, she wish I came first but God knows the best for all of us. She's married for 6months nw and we respect one another by keeping our distance. If only I can turn back the hands of time

Seized $9.3million Controversy: APC raises 13 questions for President Jonathan
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged President Goodluck Jonathan to come clean on the circumstances surrounding the 9.3 million US dollars that was impounded in South Africa, which has become the latest in a series of global ridicule to which the scandal-prone Jonathan administration has subjected Nigeria and her people.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, the party also called on the National Assembly to launch an urgent investigation into the issue, saying the silence of the peoples’ representativeson the issue is deafening, unfathomable and unacceptable.
It said there is no doubt that the President is at the centre of the whole issue, considering the presidential treatment given to the plane and its cargo, since the plane departed from the Presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, away from the reach of the Nigerian Customs Service which could not therefore have cleared the plane and its passengers.
”It is absolutely urgent for President Jonathan to clear the air on this alleged off-the-shelf equipment or arms purchase, which runs against all known protocol for such purchases anywhere in the world. Military equipment and weapons are not bean cakes to be purchased by the road side. There are globally-acceptable protocols for such purchases by governments, otherwise what differentiates a government from an insurgent group that is shopping for arms?
”Is the Jonathan Administration not aware that the UN General Assembly on April 2nd 2013 adopted a landmark Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) precisely to regulate the international trade in conventional weapons by avoiding the kind of road-side purchase that the Nigerian government is said to have been involved in? Though the ATT has not come into effect, the fact that Nigeria is among the few countries to have signed and ratified the treaty shows that the country is concerned by unregulated arms trade,’’ the APC said.
The party said the resort to ”procedural error” to explain away the whole issue cannot work, because Nigerian authorities cannot pretend not to be aware that currency brought into or taken from South Africa is monitored by law, and that anyone bringing into that country more than R25,000 in South African currency or U$10,000 or the equivalent thereof in foreign currency must declared such.
It said that in any case, those who are using ”procedural error” as an alibi are being too clever by half. This is because if entering or leaving a country with undeclared $9.3 million is mere ”procedural error”, why was Sule Lamido’s son convicted for not declaring a mere $50,000 dollars at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport?
The APC said in the spirit of fairness, it has however decided to give President Jonathan and the government he heads the opportunity to make urgently-neededclarifications by answering a number of questions relating to the $9.3 million scandal.
“Is the money indeed meant to purchase a helicopter as has been reported?
“To which arm of the government or security force does the money belong?
“Who appropriated it and for what purpose?
“Why was the money being ferried in cash by the same government that has been spending huge time and money to promote a cashless policy? Is the resort to cash to avoid a paper trail for the transaction, in which case it is illegal?
”Mr. President, we are aware that each arm of security has an account with the CBN for the purpose of arms purchase and such transactions are properly documented, so why was this not the case in this instance?
‘Mr. President, why did it take your government all of 10 days to admit its involvement in this scandal, considering that the embarrassing incident happened since Sept. 5th and was not known until Sept. 15th?
“Does this saga not give credence to the widely held view that you are indeed benefitting from the the Boko Haram insurgency and that you have deliberately allowed it to escalate to this level?
”Mr. President, has this saga not confirmed the suspicion that your 2015 reelection bid has been factored into your handling of the Boko Haram insurgency?
“Has this saga not given more credence to revelations that the sponsors of Boko Haram are those closest to the President?
Has this saga not finally confirmed that the President knows more than he is telling the nation about the sudden escalation of the Boko Haram insurgency, especially in the run up to the 2015 elections?
”Mr. President, has this saga not confirmed that powerful forces in your administration are all working in concert to use the Boko Haram insurgency to secure tenure extension for President Jonathan?
“Is not clear now why the Senate President infamously declared two days ago that election is not on the table since the country is in a state of war?
“Have we not been proven right in our declaration at the panel discussion in the British House of Commons on Sept. 8th 2014 that the Jonathan administration will attempt to cash in on the Boko Haram insurgency to postpone elections?”
The party said the answers to the questions raised would go a long way in showing Nigerians that their government is not clandestinely buying equipment and weapons to fuel the Boko Haram insurgency and then profit from its own act of perfidy.
It said while the President is compiling his answers to the posers, he should ask his spokespersons to stop adding insult to injury by saying the CIA, FBI, Mossad etc also travel abroad with undeclared cash, in clear violation of the laws of their destination countries, to buy arms.
”Mr President only gangsters and terrorists conduct their businesses in this manner. Therefore, please call your spokespersons to order, while you are preparing to come clean to Nigerians on this latest scandal,” APC said.

People are still making the most horrific sacrifices over 'vanity'
and make enemies over worthless material things. What can I
Say? Look back at that one thing you want to kill or die for today
and see what becomes of it tomorrow. There is absolutely nothing
you can't achieve. All you need is a little time and PATIENCE and

For 40 years, or was it longer, I can't
remember, I did all I could to give people
houses, hospitals, schools, and when they were hungry, I gave them food. I even made Benghazi into farmland from the desert.
I stood up to attacks from that cowboy Ronald Reagan, when he killed my adopted orphaned daughter, he was trying to kill me, instead he killed that poor innocent child. Then I helped my brothers and sisters from Africa with money for the African Union.
I did all I could to help people Understand the concept of real democracy, where people's committees ran our country. But that was never enough, as some told me, even people who had 10 room homes, new suits and furniture, were never satisfied, as selfish as they were they wanted more.
They told Americans and other visitors, that they needed "democracy" and "freedom" never realizing it was a cut throat system where "the biggest dog eats the rest", but they were enchanted with those words, never realizing that in America, there was no free medicine, no free hospitals, no free housing, no free education and no free food, except when people had to beg or go to long lines to get soup.
No matter what I did, it was never enough for some, but for others, they knew I was the son of Gamal Abdel Nasser, the only true Arab and Muslim leader we've had since Salah-al-Deen, when he claimed the Suez Canal for his people, as I claimed Libya, for my people, it was his footsteps I tried to follow, to keep my people free from colonial domination - from thieves who would steal from us.

We have recently realized the value of the use of amulets. It has been scientifically proven that water is affected by what is recited over it. Japanese scientist Masaru Emoto has had a unique experience. He said that he had read in a book that each snowflake falling from the sky is unique. He said that his scientific instincts told him that this was not true. The geometric shape of the snowflake is determined by its chemical composition. The composition of water is well known – two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. So how come snowflakes that fall from the sky are different from one another? He said: “I was determined to prove that this theory was false.” He built a laboratory, consisting of a deep freezer with a regulator, because no liquid, subjected to sudden freezing, can assume a geometric shape. The freezing must be slow, so the atoms have the chance to crystallize into the shape decreed by God. There was a deep freezer with a regulator, a cold room at the temperature of -7°C, and several microscopes equipped with cameras, so he could photograph the snowflake before it melted. The scientists working in this room wore warm clothing. He said: “I took samples from two faucets in the laboratory, I froze them, and each sample gave me a different snowflake. The samples came from two different wells, two different rivers, from two different lakes. I almost went crazy and thought this was witchcraft.”
A Saudi student at the University of Tokyo happened to meet him, and asked him what was wrong. Masaru told him his problem. The student said to him: “We have blessed water, called Zamzam water. I will give you a sample of this water so you can experiment on it. Zamzam water is not affected by witchcraft or Jinns, so using it can prove or disprove the whole theory.” Emoto took a sample of Zamzam water, and said: “I couldn’t crystallize it, even by diluting the water by 1,000.” In other words, he turned one cubic centimeter into one liter.
He said that when he diluted the water by 1,000 and froze it, he got a uniquely-shapedcrystal. Two crystals were formed, one on top of the other, but they assumed a unique form. When he asked his Muslim colleague why there were two crystals, he told him it was because “Zamzam” is composed of two words: “Zam” and “Zam.”
Masaru Emoto said: “My Muslim colleague offered to recite Quranic verses over the water. He brought a tape-recorder and played some Quranic verses, and we got the most perfectly-shaped crystals. Then he played the 99 names of Allah (The Almighty). Each name produced a uniquely-shapedcrystal. When Dr. Emoto completed these experiments, which lasted 15 years, he published a five-volume book called “Messages from Water“. He wrote: “I have proven that water, that peculiar liquid, is capable of thinking, fathoming, feeling, getting excited, and expressing itself.”
Following was written Dr. Masaru Emoto:
The quality/purity of Zamzam water has, will not be find any where else in the water on this earth.
He used the technology named NANO, and researched a lot on Zamzam water. And found out that if one drop of Zamzam water mix in 1000 drops of regular water, regular water will get the same quality like Zamzam water.

ZamZam water level is around 10.6 feet below the surface. It is the miracle of Allah that when ZamZam was pumped continuously for more than 24 hours with a pumping rate of 8,000 liters per second, water level dropped to almost 44 feet below the surface, BUT WHEN THE PUMPING WAS STOPPED, the level immediately elevated again to 13 feet after 11 minutes.
8,000 liters per second means that
8,000 x 60 = 480,000 liters per minute
480,000 liters per minutes means
that 480,000 x 60 = 28.8 Million liters per hour
And 28.8 Million liters per hour
means that 28,800,000 x 24 = 691.2 Million liters per day
So they pumped 690 Millions liters of Zamzam in 24 hours, but it was re-supplied in 11 minutes only.
There are 2 miracles here, the first that Zamzam was re-filled immediately, & the second is that Allah Holds the extra-ordinarily powerful Aquifer for not throwing extra Zamzam out of the well, otherwise the world will SINK.
Allah says in the Holy Quran;
“We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and in their own souls, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things?” (41:53)

Every Friday afternoon, after the Jummah prayers, the Imam and his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out "PATH TO PARADISE" and other Islamic literature.

This particular and fortunate Friday afternoon, as the time came for the Imam and his son to go to the streets with their booklets, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring rain.

The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said, '
OK, dad, I'm ready!'His dad asked, 'Ready for what?' 'Dad, it's time we go out and distribute these Islamic books.
'Dad responds, 'Son, it's very cold outside and it's pouring with rain.'The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking, 'But Dad, aren't people still going to hell, even though it's raining?
'Dad answers, 'Son, I am not going out in this weather.'Despondently, the boy asks, 'Dad, can I go Please?'
His father hesitated for a moment then said, 'Son, you can go. Here are the booklets. Be careful okay son.''

Thanks, Dad!'And with that, he was off and out into the rain.
This eleven year old boy walked the streets of the town going door to door and handing everybody he met in the street a pamphlet or a booklet.

After two hours of walking in the rain, he was soaking, bone-chilled wet and down to his VERY LAST BOOKLET. He stopped on a corner and looked for someone to hand a booklet to, but the streets were now totally deserted.

Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front door and rang the door bell.
He rang the bell, but nobody answered..He rang it again and again, but still no one answered. He waited but still no answer.

Finally, he turned to leave, but something stopped him. Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and knocked loudly on the door with his fist. He waited, something holding him there on the front porch! He rang again and this time the door slowly opened.
Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking elderly lady.
She softly asked, 'What can I do for you, son?'
With radiant eyes and a smile that lit up her world, this little boy said, 'Ma'am, I'm sorry if I disturbed you, but I just want to tell you that ALLAH REALLY LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU and I came to give you my very last booklet which will tell you all about God, the real purpose of creation, and how to achieve His pleasure.'
With that, he handed her his last booklet and turned to leave.She called to him as he departed. 'Thank you, son! And God Bless You!'

The following week on Friday afternoon after Jumma prayers, the Imam was giving some lectures. As he always did in this westn city, he concluded the lecture, he asked,
'Does anybody have questions or want to say anything?
'Slowly, in the back row among the ladies, an elderly lady's voice was heard over the speaker. 'No one in this gathering knew her.
She started to speak..."I've never been here before. You see, before last Friday I was not a Muslim, and never thought I could ever be.

My husband died few years ago, leaving me totally alone in this world.. Last Friday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, I was contemplating suicide as i had no hope left.So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic of my home..
I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof then stood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck. Standing on that chair, so lonely and broken-hearted I was about to leap off, when suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairs startled me.

I thought, I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away.I waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder and more insistent, and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly....I thought to myself again, 'Who on earth could this be? Nobody ever rings my bell or comes to see me.'
I loosened the rope from my neck and started for the front door, all the while the bell rang louder and louder. When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes, for there on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little boy I had ever seen in my life. His SMILE, oh, I could never describe it to you!
The words that came from his mouth caused my heart that had long been dead TO LEAP TO LIFE as he exclaimed with a cherub-like voice, 'Ma'am, I just came to tell you that ALLAH REALLY LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU!

The Prophet (SAW) one day said to Ali (RA): Ya Ali! Do these five things before going to bed at nigh- 1. Give 4000 Dinaars in Sadaqa. 2. Read one complete Qur'an. 3. Pay the price of Jannah. 4. Make two people happy with each other when they are upset. 5. Do one hajj, then you go to sleep.
Hazrat Ali (RA) said, Ya Rasulallah! This looks impossible, how will I be able to do all these?
Then the Prophet (SAW) replied - 1. Reading suratul Fatiha four times is equals to four thousand Dinaars given in Sadaqa. 2. Reading suratul Ikhlas (Qul huwa Allahu Ahad) three times is equal to one complete Quran. 3. Reading any durood shareef (Shortest: Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Salam) three times is the price of Jannat. 4. Saying Astagfirullah (or any istighfar) ten times is equal to making two unhappy people happy with each other. 5. Reciting Kalimatush Shahada four times is equal to one complete Hajj.
After this Ali (RA) said, Ya Rasulallah! Now I will do all these before going to bed.
It takes less than 5 minutes for all the above ZIKR. But look at the virtues. who would not want to have all these virtues to be in their book of good deeds? To remind oneself of it, the easiest way is to write down on a piece of paper all the above ZIKR and stick the piece of paper just next to your bed, and of course Allah is the one to remind.
It will be very nice of u if you could forward this to as many Muslims as possible, because if anyone starts doing these Aamaal then there is no doubt that you will also be rewarded for it Insha Allah. May Almighty Allah grant us the strength and ability to foward it and to practice it.
