You've committed the first blunder by announcing the amount and the denomination in the public domain. If not the right place to take it to is the radio house, where announcement will be made and when the rightful owner comes,he/will be questioned.Unfortunately, you have revealed all the vital information. What I will advise you to do is to pay the cash into your account and leave it there for a while, then, better keep your mouth shut, don't ever discuss it with anybody or else you will land in serious trouble. At the end of one month,if you didn't hear of anybody looking for his/her lost money, then use it,don't give a dime of it to anybody.

This a very critical period in a man's life, this is where most young dude missed the mark that lead to everlasting regret.Marriage is the union with the greatest responsibilities on mother earth,by the time you jumped into it,you will start seeing things you didn't bargain for.In marriage, spoons today can become forks tomorrow.
Young dude, your future is of paramount importance above any other thing right now.
Start saving now,for the future and jettison marriage from your mind right now.it can drain you financially, emotionallyphysically and spiritually.

Please don't castigate me for what I'm about to say:

Leah Sharibu is one person. Paying ransom to Boko Haram only emboldens them and gives them the ability to buy more arms and kill more people.
I don't want her to be killed, but I don't want many other innocent people to be killed either. They are as strong as they are because of all the ransom paid so far. Back in 2013, they got a random of $3.15 million to free seven French hostages. That money has been used very effectively, and since then a few thousand Nigerians, Cameroonians, Chadians, and Nigeriens have lost their lives.

Now somebody would say to me: "what if Leah was your sister?" It's a hard choice, but if I pay them ransom to rescue her, what assurance is there that they won't come back and wipe out my whole village later, me and my sister included?
Does Boko Haram collect ransom. We should shine our eyes very well, there's an undercover somewhere to achieve an agenda.BOKO HARAM DOES NOT COLLECT RANSOM.Nigeria I hail thee.

EXACTLY. WELL SPOKEN. Nigerians are the worst enemies ofothis country. Do you know that in most of these African countries, OUTSIDE their capital city, there is virtually no development? When I lived overseas, I once told a Ugandan colleague of mine that I normally visit my village in Nigeria for christmas. The guy looked at me as if I was mad. What was I doing visiting a village, he asked. He was comparing it to villages in Uganda. He said that there, the villages are desolate and neglected, with zero development. He said they used footpaths to reach his village. No road led there. There were no markets, no shops where you can buy anything. Just like those remote African villages you see on CNN, where everyone sits on the floor in front of mud huts. He said in Uganda, once you leave your village, you never go back there. You simply forget it. I explained to him that in Nigeria, our villages have markets, mansions, shops, hotels, banks, electricity, and so on. The guy was shocked.

I mean, we just don't appreciate what we have in this Nigeria. Tomorrow somebody will come on Nairaland and say Uganda is hundred times better than Nigeria, because he was in Kampala aolnd they did not take the light. How will there not be constant light when all the country's infrastructural spending is on one capital city? Mumu people.
Thanks for educating some of these lazy kids here.

Have you ever seen or heard these African countries you referred to as useless denigrating their country as you do to your great country.despite their various shortcomings.No.Nigeria called their country all sort of names, especially those given to her by the western colonizers, despite the slow and steady progress in the country. They will disrespect you because you already displayed a low self exteem.Nigeria is a great country, the giant and big brother in Africa.

It's not "given to us by .... western slave masters"! We have eyes and can see for ourselves. The only slavery is not realising the Nigeria we have is the one we created. Hopefully, soon as we can't stand the stench of our own poo anymore, we, Nigerians, would clean up our act.

Meanwhile, let not silly sentiment stop us stating the obvious. Nigeria stinks (despite my love for the place).
You have been brainwashed by what you watch on films, and videos of other countries especially those that uses us as bad examples, you no longer see anything good in your country
I for one refuses to swallow every crap that is thrown at us by our western neighbors who colonized us including our brains.
From independence till date Nigeria has made progress in various facet of the economy:the network of roads we have ,now, were not there in the sixties, other infrastructures like drainage, bridges, housing, water, health care, education has greatly improved.Even governance has not be left out,as the masses are fully aware of the workings of government through the mass media. This is just the beginning, there will be more progress in the years ahead.Stop living in delusion and face reality

Common,Nigerians, take hate and tribalism out of the way so as to make a clear judgement.
Nigeria has greatly improved compared to the past sixties and seventies when you hardly find a decent toilet in a whole community, but now the condition has greatly improved.Nearly all hhouses now have Water closet except some negligible few in the rural areas.

Story.
The only reason Kemi resigned is because she I'd a British citizen too and the forgery would have had an adverse effect on her when she travels back to Britain. It has nothing to do with this goverment.
She knows and must have been adviced that this government would last at most another 4years,of which she isn't sure of being in the cabinet again, but her long term future in the UK and her family could be jeopardized if she doesn't admit to the forgery, only that she should blame it on her naivety.
Please when will she be charged to court?
How many of those with Toronto certificate in past administrations were charged to court.Nigeria laws are meant for the poor. The court of public opinion has convicted her.

If you drop dead today, your wife and kids will still live their lives.so,never forget yourself while providing for your family, never tell a woman your total earnings in the name of love, because love does not exist but personal interest.strive to live a moderate life while planning for your future(old age ) your future as a man is damaged if you don't have a house,a steady source of income after retirement.Young men look into the future with hope while old men look back with a lot of regrets.
