Family › Re: My Husband Not Talking To Me, Because I Gave A Man Wrong Number by coputa(m): 9:37pm On Mar 01, 2017
amyzon:
It started yesterday afternoon when my husband took me to the hospital to pick up my family planning pills with our 2 months old baby. To cut the story short, I went into d midwife's office alone to pick d pill , ask questions and get answers.

Inside the midwives office was a very young doctor who got involved in all my discussion with the midwife. Alone the line, the midwife went out to pick something and at that moment the young doctor asked me for my number, I gave him a wrong number .

So when we got home I told my husband about it. He got angry , started attacking me about it , my husband said giving the doctor a number at all was me insulting him, that it doesn't matter if it was a wrong number or not .

Truth is, I'm not the type to insult a guy who approached me, I always give wrong number. I have been apologising to my husband since yesterday even when I totally don't think I did something wrong , Yet he is still boiling up. Pls I need to understand what I did wrong cos I don't think I did something wrong.
You are a pathological liar, you gave him your real number and when he called it was your husband that picked it.You are joking with your marriage.

A school is being subsidized by 1.6 billion and you say they have not done enough. It's obvious, you want quality education but you don't want to pay for it. This is just a case of greed. I've seen through you.
Affordable qualitative education...SMH. Name one quality university anywhere on this earth with fees lower than that of CU.

Statsocial just explained what needs to be paid for in universities and you overlooked all that just to come and type this rubbish.
young man,use your head for God sake. These universities were built with tithes/offerings and donations from members of the church,it shouldn't be compared with a private owned university.I make bold to repeat that, their fees should be scaled down.
Education › Re: 7 Most Expensive Universities In Nigeria 2017 by coputa(m):
Statsocial:
Your problem is a special case of ignorance. Apostolic Faith is subsidizing Crawford by 500 million naira, Living Faith is subsidizing CU by 1.6 billion naira. I thought I uploaded an expenditure report of CU online yet ppl like you would never read it. The Churches cn't subsidize to the point where it breaks their back. Electricity in CU is about 24 hrs. Do u know how much that cost in a year or you think Churches should forget their core mission of reaching out to the unsaved and be fuelling generators for a university. What kind of unthinking generation do we have in Nigeria. Living Faith is in 65 countries in d world, rccg is in 192 are u going to bed one supporting this Churches financially by the time they spend their money on giving u free education. Most of you kp talking about old missionaries yet u forget that some of them were supported by governments. Up till the 1950s the US govt was financially supporting Christian missions. Is ur useless govt willing to financially supporting anyone. If you had paid attention to read the debate I had with biz.me u would know that many of these private universities are still groaning even with d so called fees.
If living faith is subsidizing CU to the tone of 1.6 billion naira compared to their income, then, they've not done enough.note that living faith in Nigeria can fend for itself. They cannot break their neck, because they are just the custodians of the money that is given to them by poor worshipers who went there probably to to better their lots,(Education included)
Western countries supports churches financial because they pay taxes and use the money for humanitarian purposes.
Yes,reaching out the unsaved as the core mission of the church also includes giving out an affordable qualitative education to the poor.It is difficult to win the soul of a hungry, dejected and confused fellow.

They got a standard ma'am nd it has to be maintained. Do ur research,t the best universities of the world are very expensive.
There's no cause for alarm If these expensive universities were built by entrepreneurs/investors,whose main aim is to make profit. In the first place, churches are not supposed to indulge in any profit making venture,,if they must,it should be of a charitable nature. The rush for wealth in the house of God these days is mind bungling

Do it then. Nobody is holding you!
You pay more for quality...

So because they are managed by churches, they should be free?
Are you the one who will pay the lecturers?
Will you pay the cleaners and all other non academic staff?
Will you pay their electricity bills?
Will you buy and maintain all the school equipment?

Did you even make use of your brain when you were typing this?
The source of the money that was used to build the schools (tithes /offerings) can still be used to subsidized the fees,so that the church members can send their children to study there. The church is making money, they should learn to use it for the service of humanity.

Agriculture › Re: How To Start A Fish Farming Business In Nigeria by coputa(m): 9:19am On Feb 21, 2017
Senipapa:
Tried this fishery business about three years ago but wasn't successful, problems I encountered were
1. Power- No news power is a problem in Nigeria, as I found myself spending so much on petrol in order to change water constantly in other to retain oxygen for the fishes as I had five big concrete ponds which cost me more than 500k to put in place

2.Feed- feeding them was capital intensive as a bag of foreign feed ranged between the price of 4500-5500 then, though I opted to use the Nigerian vital feed which was much cheaper then, I wonder how OP will still forecast same price in his right up as we know price of goods have sky rocketed since inflation hit the nation.

3. Choice of fingerling - Very important as I lacked experience in this category, while some grew very big within 6-7 months, other which I got from another dealer and constituted of majority were weighing below 500kg per fish after 7 months this was where I ran huge lose, where as the once I got from the first dealer which occupied two ponds were weighing 2kg and above.

In future when I have better capital I would love to try it out again, not minding limiting it to personal consumption alone, and another thing I like is the joy derived in watching them, most days I spend hours just watching them swim and play, it's a beautiful sight to behold.
This is what I posted earlier,in this thread.hatch your own fish for stocking,90 percent of fingerlings bought from outside are bad.most successful fish farmers won't tell you this secret,

Agriculture › Re: How To Start A Fish Farming Business In Nigeria by coputa(m): 11:01pm On Feb 20, 2017
Before you can succeed in fish farming, you must know how to manage a hatchery to produce your own fingerlings for stocking in your pond,it is risky to buy fingerlings outside, this has made many fish farmers to go bankrupt as the growth of the fish is stunted. This is very critical, learn how to hatch your own fingerlings.
secondly, you should know how to formulate feeds, became,if you only use foreign feeds,it will gulp a substantial portion of you profit. These two critical areas is a sine quo non to a successful fish farming venture
Politics › Re: When Nigerians Cannot Eat, Buhari Budgets N40m To Feed Aso Rock Animals by coputa(m): 9:26am On Feb 19, 2017
DelGardo:
Whether he reads every line in the budget or relies on others to do it is not the issue. The question is : are you aware that there is a zoo, which is a part of Aso Rock, for which a budget provision must be made?

Even if the animals are in a public zoo they must be fed otherwise they starve. So it is either the Senate tells Buhari to close the zoo (that is a national asset) or approve what they consider sufficient to run the zoo.

Mr Ben Bruce has failed to state what it costs to run a zoo the size of the one in Aso Rock for a year. We need to know that, in order to determine whether N40m is excessive or not. That is part of his job in the senate.

Not this unnecessary sensationalism!
In this time of economic recession,is it not wise for a right thinking government to close the zoo and dispose of it's animals,of what economic importance is that zoo sited in Aso rock villa,if not for looting purposes. Our government and leaders can never set their priority right, always misplacing their priority.

A person that stole, and a court of law adjudged him/ her to be a thief. Which was the case in ibori's case.
I want to put it to you that Ibori is not a thief for the following reasons,
(1) It was not proven that he stole at the place the said crime was committed.
(2) The jail term was served in a foreign land different from where the said crime was committed.
(3) No court of competent jurisdiction has pronounced him guilty of any wrong doing, corruption or stealing of public fund in Nigeria.
