Whether or not you are religious or not, we can all agree that in religion, logic does not really work but belief. You cannot apply critical thinking to explaining religious tenets, else you will start questioning most of them.

This is why religion will almost always attract least thinkers among us. Religion does not like critical thinking, if you apply critical thinking you cannot believe and religion is base on beliefs.

Deep meditation and critical thinking led me to atheism, then, that journey led me to reading books on atheism.

After the nation has failed woefully to maintain pure worship Jesus told them that the major reason why God gave them that place has been nullified {Matthew 23:37-39} now pure worship could be established in any part of the planet {John 4:20-24} and worshipers of God are not only in one location anymore rather anywhere pure worship is practiced those involved are God's people no matter where they are. That's why Jesus taught his disciples to love those that may appear to be their enemies {Matthew 5:43-48 compare to Luke 6:27-28} as they're to preach to people of all the nations and make them worshipers of the God of Abraham {Matthew 28:19-20} once these people become worshipers of the true God Jesus' disciples must love them just as he loves {John 13:34-35} this means that they should be ready to die for their fellow believers.

This is the reason why Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes and other Jewish Rabbis hated Jesus with passion because they are thinking that if all the Jews should believe in Jesus' teachings then no one will be their to fight and protect their nation and other people will come and take away their land and properties they reasoned:

"If we let him go on this way, they will all put faith in him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation.” John 11:28

What Jesus was teaching has a purpose and it was meant to fulfil God's promise as found in the Bible book of Isaiah 2:2-4; Micah 4:1-3 the miracles he was performing is evidence of the fact that his teachings is from the true God.

So you may continue supporting warriors who are fighting over territories but know today that Christ Jesus has no part in such struggles that's why he told his own disciples:

"When they persecute you in one city, FLEE to another; for truly I say to you, you will by no means complete the circuit of the cities of Israel until the Son of man arrives. Matthew 10:23

Today what you're seeing is the fulfilment of God's word as found in the Bible book of Revelations 6:3-4, Satan the killer is instigating faithless people to kill one another for so many reasons {John 8:44} but true disciples of Christ are no part of the world under Satan's control {John 17:14-16} so when the voice from the spirit realm says "go and fight for your lands" we know it's not the voice of our Master Lord and King Christ Jesus because his own order to all his disciples is never to raise weapons against anyone for any reason whatsoever {Matthew 26:52} our most precious properties aren't here {Matthew 6:19-21} so there's no reason fighting to kill anyone with the excuse that we are being protective! Matthew 5:38-42
