Who and what becomes your strong tie to naija if you all do this at this time? Your husband has more hurdle to cross from the profile you supplied of him, wouldn't even be a bad idea if he's out of this for now or the kids could be dropped from the application instead. Thanks for your response. Will stick to option two. Strong tie is my work and his business, I understand traveling first with hubby, without the kids, but how do I explain leaving the kids behind to travel for two weeks. And then depending on the duration of the visa, when we want to travel with them, we book another interview?

Hello Everyone. I have been a silent reader on this forum and I must say everyone is doing a great job. I have read a lot and learnt a lot from this forum. I am only needing to ask this question because I can't remember reading about this here.

I have been to the US before before I got married, I have also been to the UK and Finland. My hubby has been to Ghana and Kenya and he had a UK visa that he didn't use cos of work and the visa expired. After marriage, we have two girls and hubby is doing business earning about 300k while I have a job with an international NGO earning about 400k. We have never traveled together before cos we have been really busy with marriage family and work. He has his sister in the US who has been inviting us since we got married and even promises to sponsor the trip... Now I would like to go on a vacation with the family and I am confused as to the following -

1. Should we put his sister's name as our sponsor, is it wise? Meaning she is paying for everything. We will be staying at her place either way.
2. Or should we say we are sponsoring ourselves for the trip, accommodation is her place so we will be looking at tickets for 4 persons, and money for shopping n sightseeing. Budget might be between 6 -7k dollars. We can save up n plan, even though she might want to support us.

Please advise is needed. Thanks.

Dear Op. Listen carefully. An MBA from Unilag is worthless. A total waste of time and it wont open any doors for you. MBA's are supposed to allow you network with great minds for great jobs post school and also for the contents. I feel a hustling Nigerian should take an MBA for these two reasons. 1) If you have big dreams of working at the best firms and startups in Europe and North América and 2) If you are looking to migrate and you need something valuable to get good jobs abroad. The first optipn also goes for those that have the plum jobs here and are looking to go higher.Harvard, Insead and all.
I would encourage you to face your work, save money, and rack up experience cos its the most important thing in the corperate world. Take online courses via cousera and the likes or do professional exams. The only Nigerian MBA that can make a difference in your fortunes might be from Lagos Business school. No employer would bat an eyelid for an MBA from Unilag so aim higher and work really hard. All the best dear and congrats on securing your job.

My husband and I intend to go on a holiday with our kids, we are being invited by his sister who is a US citizen. I have been there before but he was declined about 7 years ago. My husband n I have some savings but my sis in law is going to be our sponsor, paying for the flight ticket and staying in her house. I have a job and hubby is a businessman. Do we need to have the money in our account or just indicate her as the sponsor when filling the form? How do we go about this? please advise.

Of course you'll prolong the life of your shocks if you remove them from the equation and stop them from doing their job

This is like covering your roof with nylon and beating your chest that rain has never touched your roof.

As far as I don't get to spend money right now to keep changing shocks, it's fine by me. No time to waste time.

Hi everyone, like I said earlier I have had this Polyurethane cushion buffer installed in my 2011 toyota corolla since March last year and so far so good. My mechanic introduced me to the product when I changed my shocks to China shock which was supposed to last 6-8 months before giving issues. He said it will support and prolong the life of the China shock and so far so good. I looked it up online and read about it before buying and I am impressed.
