Hello my pushing sisters...I mentioned here 1-2 weeks ago that sugar was found in my urine, well...I stopped minerals and reduced carbs, drank only water, I checked again after 2 weeks and every thing has regularized, no sugar, no protein n no infection. I thank God.

Yesterday I noticed that clear fluid wets my undies after I wee, it happened on two occasions, so to reduce my worry, I went to the hospital, did a scan, amniotic fluid is adequate, so I have been told that it is mostly that I did not fully empty my bladder, so it should be urine. I am a bit relaxed now, and I will try as much as possible not to get too pressed before emptying my bladder...

Don't worry. Your doctor will have everything under control.
Here is the thing, preggies kidneys' work more efficiently than a non pregnant person. So sometimes, it over efficiently filters sugar from your blood even when you may not be diabetic.
Seems your doc will send you for Fasting Blood Sugar test, if it comes back normal, a true test of diabetes may be carried out. OGTT (Oral glucose tolerance test). That will determine if you are truly glucose intolerant, prediabetic, diabetic or not.
If the FBS is not normal they will not carry out the OGTT, because that substance they give you to drink eh! Is as sweet as Ribena or boost!!
But with a good doctor, you will be fine. Just watch your diet.

Thanks for your swift response Kaffy. ..The bottle was given to me in the hospital, I went 4 urinalysis at about 10 am, the result was ready after the class we usually have as at 12 noon. I ate spaghetti but I took a drink the day before, did a bit of ribena with the meal. No history of diabetes in my family o...that's why I am surprised ...

I agree with not eating too much liver because I have first experience of the negative effect. When I had my DS I shared a room with a lady that ate tonnes of liver from her 1st trimesters, even after giving birth her sister in law brought a huge bowl of chopped liver soup for her to eat. I notice her daughter never opens her eyes even when she is crying. I walked by her bed on the way to the toilet and ask if her daughter was sleeping, she said no, she just likes to keep her eyes shut.
When the nurses came to carry out the APGAR test the next day, her daughter failed the sight test. They couldn't confirm her blind immediate until subsequent testing had been done. Too much vitamin A from animal source (retinol) during pregnancy causes blindness in babies. The vit A found in plants(beta carotene) is considered safe during pregnancy.
In other words,eat liver in moderation and avoid cod liver oil supplement during pregnancy.

Abt 70% of breastmilk s water, and yes, breastmilk alone is enuf to sustain a child for d first 6months of life.

By 11am I went 2 pee & saw show,nurse checked & I was 6cm dilated.dh dat was robbing my back was told 2 excuse us.they broke my water,d pain inceased. 1pm was fully dilated.i was told 2 push but wanted 2 wait a little longer 2 b very sure even though i was in pain,i was afraid 2 push.when i couldnt hold it,i told them i wanted 2 poo,with 3 to 4 pushes my beautiful princess arrived.my stomach immediately felt empty.i was givin a cut. she weighted 3.5kg.

my sis, i have heard so many things concerning this potty training thingy, someone said that the child should be able to talk/express herself, that it is easier then.

another said she should be two first.

yet another said they do when their body is ready, it is only that we can aid.

I just need the different skills to use.

Wow. You started late o. Step 1- buy pants , she has to wear it during the day. Keep her potty near the toilet door. First week is tough, once she poos on her pant u let her know its wrong then gently take her to her potty and show her where to poo. First thing every morning put her in her potty, she will def wee. Every child is diff, my first was challenging to train. It usually better to Start as soon as your child can walk. Don't forget to introduce the words poo and wee.

My sister, when i keep her there, she would sit o, i will talk wee-wee or poo-poo, when i am done, she will stand up and walk away, the potty will now turn into play pen.

Yesterday i noticed she wanted to poo, i carried her to put on the potty, they cry no be here o, i put her on the normal toilet, they cry was more serious.

i wore her diaper, she went to the corner and pooed.

Well, i will keep trying.
