@Marygold,for those who had such issues so far,I always prescribed eating raw garlic or going on garlic oil n it has done wonders in that regards.Whenevr I eat raw garlic,I always have over supply of the milk as I normally produce lots of milk.U can as well try let's c,it does no harm,rather,it helps both u n d baby to boost immunity n prevent infections including thyphoid too.A combination with raw ginger or ginger tea(home made) is perfect.

Wow, great to know it worked for you o...a friend of mine did dat and guess what? the child did not like sucking again o, till she decided to just taste her milk and it was tasting awful, the 'garlicky' taste, she stopped immediately o, and did a lot of pumping out and voila, the baby started sucking again. the things we see enh.

My dear sisters, I need help o.

My 10 month dearie, has cough. Bad one o. She go cough n cough and throw up sometimes, abeg what can I do? Any ideas on medications? She had malaria some days ago and as she recover, na em cough start.

And is there any medicine that should be rubed on the baby's gum before the teeth comes out? i heard that from somebody but dont know if mothers here have an idea.

We'll, in my opinion, I think you should just get the baby a teething ring, something he can use to scratch the gum when it itches. I never gave my babe any medication like teething powder sha.

omogemi: @Corrall, b.co syrup is okay. It hs bin prescribed 2 my daughter b4 when she wasnt eating. Now she's on wellkid multivitamin. My baby weighed lesser than urs @ 9 mnths. It can b so stressful when they dont eat.

@Omogemi, abeg, did the b.co syrup work for your baby? Did she add weight? Can my baby start taking the wellkid? Did u see any change in ur baby?. Sorry jare, too many questions.

pls mums, dont chew food for ur babies, its not higenic. Germs can easily be trsfed eg if u have flu, cough, carta etc. Rather mash der foods. Prevention is better than cure. @corral, what hve u tried feeding her. Give her pap, de dawa version, cereals, egg yolk, mashed irish aand sweet pototes, boil yam with palmoil,fish, cooked beans note to wash de back off de beans like u wash ur beans for moi moi. Infact, if u re eating anything and she shows interest, feed her some. Just keep trying

Imagine she is 9 months and she is just weighing 7.8kg as against 7.5 kg as at 7 months. She doesn't eat much tho'. Most times if we are to allow her, she would just take a few spoons and shake her head, so we end up forcing it down. The nurses at the health center said the weight was okay as she is not underweight n she doesn't look like she doesn't eat much. I am just worried. I read here sometime, that b.co, or astymin increases appetite. Abeg any advice? She likes dodo a lot, but as she get only 2 teeth for down, na me de chew am give am.

for me girdle did not work o, i tied with wrapper day n night. as in enh, very tight. maybe you should try doing it that way.

My dear enh, i did banana whateva for my daughter over the weekend, and she tasted it and cocked her head and looked at me like, what is this again? by the time i brought the second spoon, my baby shook head vigorously and na there church close for on top banana smoothie.

please someone mentioned fruity smoothie for our babies, abeg how dem de do am, i de introduce different stuffs to her and she likes some and makes her face at some.

Yesterday i prepared mashed yam and butter for her and she loved it. she is 8 months now.

Hi babes, funny enuf, I de-wormed my baby 2 weeks ago. She is 8 months now. She was always throwing up. Sometimes while eating, I felt it was over feeding. It was when she woke up from sleep at 12am and threw up on d bed, that was when I knew there was something else to it. A nurse asked me if she was de-wormed n asked me to de-worm her by giving her a spoon of liquid combantrin.

Hmmm, since I gave her enh...not one day has she even mistakenly thrown up. Never knew it was that important to deworm.

I knew a few peeps who never deworm their baby, so it's really up to u, especially if there is nothing wrong with the baby.
