Well, my baby did the same thing at 7 weeks, but in my case i was not doing exclusive bosom feeding so i used to give her water. i did the anus thingy once and she pooped, after that it was at least once a day. but she could fart...ah.

Anyways, i dont know what to say if she is on exclusive milk.

If she is not, have you tried changing milk? maybe that is what is making her poo strong. You can also use spoon to give her the water.

Have also used Epiderm and Ytcan cream,dont know what to do,Or is she reacting to her lotion and oil?Also she has stopped pooing on her own and i use the cotton bud method to help her poo coz she grunts,pass out gas and cries for days;she's EBF am so confused pls help

How old is ur baby? concerning the pooing thingy, how often does she drink water? if she is over 6 months, do you give her fruits?

What kind of injections was your baby given? did they run test to know if it was malaria or any other infection that was causing the fever? my baby had d same issue and i felt it was teething, however, after 3 days of on n off fever, i went to the hospital and found out she had malaria.

maran1983: Mothers and fathers in the house, there's a meningitis campaign presently going on in the FCT (I don't know of other states). Please, let's endeavour to take our kids and wards to the hospital for the immunization, it's for ages 1-29. Nursing mothers and pregnant mothers below 29 years can take it too.
For those in the FCT, you can get the immunization from State House Clinic, free of charge. You don't need to be a patient there or know somebody there, just walk in and be immunized. Even if you had previously immunized your child/ren before now, they can still take this one as it's for a 10 year period.
The virus is deadly, I lost a brother to it.

Icherishu: Thank you I have been scared of cold that is why I didn't want to pull his stockings cos the last I did he caught cold. I will take to your advise by making the room warm for him. I think the children mat is also one of the causes for delay because it is kinda slippery. Though I am scared that if I leave him on the rug, he is going to start licking the rug which I feel it isn't that neat since some people step into the house with shoes. Thanks for the advise



I am seeing that trait in him. He just lies on his tummy and pushes backwards but immediately you sit beside him the next thing he does is trying to hold you to stand up. Thanks for the egg yoke advise, it is good to hear from different angle.

Well, my baby is almost 11 months now n I have been giving her eggyolk since 6 months. I was advised to since it is a good source of vitamins and minerals. Its only eggwhite I don't give her.

This happened to me as well, I was adviced to give her multivitamins, so I now give her wellkid. But once in a while I give her asthymin drops, it helps.

fearless07: Hello mummies. I trust ur LO's are doing great. My 5 months old son has not started sitting well. I don't know if there is any other method I can use to make him sit without falling to the sides. I introduced pap at 4 months but he still doesn't like taking it but prefers breast milk. Feeding him is a challenge cos of his crying. My sis told me to sing to him when I feed him, it works for a few minutes then he starts crying. Also when is the right age to start feeding baby fruit smooties? Thank u.

The way I did mine was to arrange pillows by her side and keep her in the middle. Or I sit at her back on the floor, rugged floor or something sha, not bare floor. Sit behind her with my legs widely stretched out with her in the middle, that way u can be her shield on the sides or at the back.
