pple say dairy products make babies gassy. that may b true but personally I like milk n its rich in protein n calcium. with most naija dishes being essentially carb I didn't stop my milk intake or even beans. its a stage babies outgrow it as their digestive sys develops more
My sister, u and I are the same o. I like milk and yogurt. I am just confused jare

Your baby isn't crying cos she farts. One home remedy I will recommend for you is massage. Massage your baby stomach region and the back. You can also lay her down on tommy but stay with her throughout. Stroke the back as well. Also make sure you remove diary product from your menu. Cheers
@jam04 please when you say dairy products, u mean milk right. I thought I needed tea n pap for rich bm. Any substitute for milk? Meanwhile, she finally pooed last night. But the farts no b here o. Please is there anything I can give to reduce it. someone said very little quantity of gestid, it doesn't sound right to me

I guess your a FTM..#smiles. At 8 weeks, your baby can't start teething. Its common for babies to put hands in their mouth. The crying is as a result of colic. How do u lay him down to sleep? I wouldn't go into much home remedy for colic as I'm certain it must have been treated extensively on the thread
@jam04 please mention home remedies o, the thread is so long that we can't even begin to search for it.

My 5 weeks old is so gassy, she is not crying sha. Just farting anyhow, she has not pooed for 2 days now. I am not doing EBF. I don't know what to do.

Please the alcohol in palm wine is not suitable for babies o as it gets passed to your breast milk. That is how social services take babies away from their parent.

Instead of palm wine, next time use brewers yeast. That is what is in palm wine and beer that makes them increase breast milk supply.
Please where in lagos can one get brewers yeast.

Palm wine did the magic for me. The result was immediate

Hi ladies, so here goes the birth story. ..

I went for check up on thursday, the doctor checked me n said I was 4cm dilated, I went home, still continued my walk on Friday, felt some little contractions starting. The plan was that if by Saturday, the baby had still not come then I would come back for induction. so Friday morning, I walked, cooked, slept but still with irregular contractions. At about 12 am I woke up to wee and noticed stronger contractions about 15 mins apart, managed till about 2 am and went to the hospital. I was checked and I was now 5cm. I was admitted, by morning i was taken to the labor room, the doctor said I was 8cm, the baby's heartbeat was slower than normal, my membrane was ruptured, and then IV line was inserted in my hand, something was injected and that was when I almost ran mad, 10 mins later, my baby arrived, the pushing was not easy mehnnnn.

Hello to all pushing mamas, congrats to all my team mates that have dropped and those of us patiently waiting. I am over 40weeks now and my doctor says my cervix hasn't even dilated at all...Hmmm, I have danced, I still had about 25minutes walk today, my doctor suggested nipple stimulation but the thing painful no be small. He has given me till Monday, that if I no show, na induction be that o and that if induction doesn't work, he is going to do CS. Before now, I don't mind the two options, but they scare the hell out of me now.. I don't know why. I wish my labor starts spontaneously before Monday.
My dear sister, we are in the same shoes o. My doctor did a membrane sweep today, I feel a lot of pressure in my pelvic area, I just pray that labour comes spontaneously. I kuku no mind the induction o, even though they say it's painful.

Mamas in d house, pls I'm 24wks plus,I'm tired of taking pregnacare plus or any drug.just wanna know if I can do without suppliment
I think it's necessary for you to take supplements o, u have to remember that it's not about just you, but the healthy growth of your little one. Let's take for example, what quantity of milk do you think you can take to give you the required dose of calcium in a day. Think about it.

Hello my dear mamas, how una de? How is the pushing ministry going? May God almighty continue to see us thru IJN Amen.

Abeg, I am 39 weeks and 3 days today, went to see the doctor, checked PCV level, and was told its 29%. The doctor sad it's low for someone that could be going into labour anytime from now. I had been on ferobin plus since the beginning of the pregnancy so I am wondering why it's low, anyways I have been told to discontinue it and start fersolate 2 in the morning n night, and folic acid. Please any other advice on how to boost my iron level?

Thanks.

@ corall..I love your spirit but you got to take it easy, one @ a time. Most biz are very attractive and profitable but venturing into it to take part in the glory requires keenly learning.

Thats the reason you see an igbo boy doing boy boy for his master before he is freed and takes up from there. He learns all it takes to succeed under his master.

There are several secrets in most biz,I would not say I know all but I have seen some. A pharmacist knows the drugs that pays out well and in great demand.

So my dear what we are looking at is turn over .
I saw your pm

I understand you perfectly, but what can you advise in all my questions?

Forget about doing used auto part from American especially since your capital is still small (#2M). That amount is not enough for the logistics alone. Please do not send your money to anybody to help buy as dismantling is very regulated. If you are interested, there are other sources of importing used parts that are highly in demand.
Thanks for your responses, can you please tell me the other sources.

Hi Nairalanders

I intend to start an auto parts importation business, but I need who can help to throw more insight on the importation and sales of it, how viable is it? Where can it be bought from? Do people buy accidented cars from UAE, Dubai to be precise, do people even buy from there? I am asking because, what if one doesn't have enough money and visa to go to America and Canada, we all know how visa matter fit be, and being a new person in the business, you might be wary of sending all you capital, say 2m to someone over there. Can I do it from Dubai? Do you know the logistics of getting it from Dubai?

If I end up doing it from America, what can that amount get for me? Will it include clearing? How many cars can one buy and dismantle, and finally, how best do you think I can sell it off, seeing that I do not have a shop yet. Does the sale have to be in ladipo?

Sorry for so many questions, I am just trying to get in-depth knowledge into the business.

Thanks in advance
