I learnt long ago not to argue the things of God with unbelievers. They reason from the realm of rationality and not sprituality. It will never make sense to them because the natural man will never accept the things of the spirit of God. I only responded to this man because he sounded courteous in his reply. I think you should save yourself the stress of arguing, it would rarely change a thing.

Pastor Chris, we have an emergency situation here. One of the ways we can control the situation with the wisdom available to us is to avoid a gathering of people more than a certain number, say 20 people. If the "not ordinary people"(like you put it) defy this order by gathering ordinary people(the members) don't you think they will be putting these ordinary people in a situation where the same government will be blamed?

I am not saying the Pastors shouldn't pray. However, I will like to ask you these questions: 1)As it is now, can you in all honesty attend a prayer session of all Pastors in Nigeria where you all will hold hands and pray against coronavirus? 2)After the prayer all Pastors present will hold the same microphone in turns and speak a word against COVID-19.
I know I'm in no position to give the Pastors instructions on how to tackle spiritual matters. Forgive me. It's just that the first question I asked is just similar to gathering ordinary people under one roof(which the Pastor was arrested for) while the second case is just to make a pronouncement individually for God to heal the world of COVID-19.

At this point, Sir, let's pray from home. God can still hear our individual prayers.
