Living in areas like Agungi, Jakande, Awoyaya, Ologolo, Langbasa, or Ajah does not mean you live in Lekki. These are distinct communities located off the Lekki-Ajah Expressway.

Only residents of Lekki Phase 1 and Phase 2 can accurately say they live in Lekki. Many people (including some bloggers and content creators) casually lump all these areas together as “Lekki,” but that is geographically inaccurate.

It’s the same logic as Palm Grove, Onipanu, or Obamkoro, all of which are off the Ikorodu Expressway. People who live there don’t go around claiming they live in Ikorodu, because they understand the distinction.

Let’s get the locations right.

We Have Lost an Angel” — LSSTF ES/CEO, Dr. Ogunsan, Mourns Lagos Command DC Admin, DCP Salihu Khan

‭Psalm 150:6 KJV‬
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, has expressed profound sadness over the passing of Deputy Commissioner of Police, DC Administration of the Lagos State Command, DCP Khan Salihu, describing the late senior officer as “a complete gentleman” whose life was defined by kindness, professionalism, and selfless service.

Dr. Ogunsan, while condoling with the family of the deceased, the Inspector General of Police, the Commissioner of Police, the management team, officers and men of the Lagos State Police Command, said the sudden death of DCP Khan represents a painful loss not only to the Nigeria Police Force but also to the broader security community in Lagos State.

“We have lost an angel,” Dr. Ogunsan said. “DCP Khan Salihu was one of the finest officers I had the privilege of knowing. He was cultured, extremely nice, humble, and always willing to help. He carried himself with dignity and treated everyone with respect, regardless of status or position.”

The LSSTF CEO noted that throughout his distinguished career, the late senior officer earned the trust and confidence of the senior leadership of the Lagos State Police Command through his dedication, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to duty. According to him, DCP Khan served the Command diligently and remained a dependable pillar within the leadership structure of the Force.

Dr. Ogunsan further praised the late officer’s exceptional human relations skills, describing him as a bridge-builder who was admired by colleagues and stakeholders alike for his calm disposition, accessibility, and readiness to support worthy causes.
“His professionalism was exemplary, but beyond that, he was a genuinely good man and lover of God. His passing leaves a void that will be difficult to fill,” he said.

He added that the security community in Lagos State will remember the late senior officer as a man who served with honour and touched countless lives through his kindness and dedication.

While praying for the peaceful repose of the departed officer’s soul, Dr. Ogunsan urged the bereaved family, friends, and colleagues to take solace in the remarkable legacy of service, integrity, and compassion that DCP Khan leaves behind.

Illegal mining.. this fuels insecurity too with the attendant influence from foreign countries. Zamfara and other illegal mining states need to be really put on watch. Alot of theft is happening.... If China can be buying ordinary sand from Zamfara just to source for mineral then why should we still be living in poverty in Nigeria.
Oluwabash:
BREAKING: EFCC Intercepts Gold Bars Worth ₦4 Billion at Kano Airport, Trail Linked to Former Zamfara State Governor, Yari

A credible insider source within the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has disclosed that operatives of the anti-graft agency successfully intercepted gold bars valued at approximately ₦4 billion at the Aminu Kano International Airport, with the consignment allegedly traced to Senator Abdul Aziz Yari Abubakar, former Governor of Zamfara State.

The source, who was an active member of the interception team, revealed that the gold bars were allegedly being smuggled out of the country with the assistance of one Aliyu Baffa, an airport security personnel, in collaboration with two other suspects. Those apprehended have since voluntarily confessed, without any form of coercion, to being members of a cartel allegedly controlled by Senator Yari, which is said to be engaged in large-scale illegal mining operations spanning Zamfara, Kaduna, and Kebbi States.

A senior security official at the Aminu Kano International Airport, who requested anonymity, recounted the sequence of events: “Our men on duty observed suspicious items concealed within 15 suitcases being loaded aboard an Ethiopian Airlines flight destined for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and immediately alerted the EFCC, resulting in the interception of the physical gold bars.”

Subsequent investigations revealed that a close associate of Senator Yari, identified as a prominent member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), allegedly made contact with EFCC officials in a bid to secure the release of the seized gold through inducement. The attempt was firmly rejected. The associate was also denied access to officials of the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Immigration Service, and airport security authorities. He was subsequently advised to communicate to Senator Yari the need to appear before the Commission for questioning, as Baffa and the two other suspects had explicitly named the former governor as the principal actor in the case.
In a related development, a known confidant of the former Senator, presently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, was reportedly spotted in a private discussion within the premises of the EFCC Kano State regional office, accompanied by two other individuals.

Senator Yari has been the subject of repeated allegations concerning his involvement in illegal mining activities. He has also been accused of channelling proceeds from illegal mining and stamp duty revenues into the financing of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

At the time of compiling this report, Senator Yari had not responded to multiple telephone calls and had failed to acknowledge 21 text messages sent to him seeking his reaction to the allegations.

So fast forward to a month ago, she suddenly changed. She stopped talking to me reply my messages and kept asking her what’s wrong she ain’t giving me any answer despite all my efforts..

Then after that she asked me to leave her alone…though she didn’t block me on her socials and she is not doing any suspicious it really shocking to me. For a girl that craves for my attention all this time and after have already start giving her my 100% she suddenly switch and wants me to leave her alone..

It really surprising and after I thought about everything the only wrong was that I do get mad at her if we had an appointment and she didn’t turn up that’s all..we didn’t even fight or argued much through out the time we were together…now in the situation the question is should I just give up on her and move on or I should give it more time hoping to get answers to what’s wrong…

When Fanship Costs a Life: A Call on Arsenal FC to Honour Anambra's Late Chibuzor Nzediegwu

By Izunna Okafor, Awka

Football is often described as more than a game. It is emotion, identity, culture, community and, for millions around the world, a way of life.

Across continents, football clubs command extraordinary loyalty from supporters who invest not only their money but also their hearts, time, energy and emotional well-being into the fortunes of their beloved teams.

That is why the tragic death of Mazi Chibuzor Nzediegwu, a devoted Arsenal Football Club fan and supporter from Umudieleke Umuoru Village in Uga community, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria, has resounded far beyond his immediate family and community.

Reports indicate that Nzediegwu, a popular poultry and livestock trader at Orie Uga Market, suffered a fatal heart attack on Saturday, May 30th, 2026, while watching Arsenal's UEFA Champions League final encounter against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). He was said to have collapsed amid the tension and emotional intensity of the match when the PSG scored the equalizing goal against Arsenal, and was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he was later confirmed dead despite efforts to save his life. Nze reportedly left behind his wife, mother, little children and other family relatives.

His burial, which took place the following day in his hometown, drew family members, friends, neighbours, sympathizers and community leaders. Videos from the emotional ceremony have continued to trend endlessly on social media, drawing reactions from football lovers across Nigeria and beyond.

While death can come under different circumstances and while medical experts rightly caution against drawing simplistic conclusions regarding sudden cardiac events, the symbolism of this particular tragedy cannot be ignored. Here was a man whose passion for Arsenal was so deep that the final moments of his life were spent following the fortunes of the club he loved.

Based on the foregoing, a pertinent question therefore arises: Should Arsenal Football Club simply move on, or should the club acknowledge the sacrifice and loyalty of a fan and supporter whose devotion remained firm and steadfast until his final breath?

Across the football world, there is this growing recognition and acknowledgement that supporters are not merely customers but stakeholders, custodians of tradition and the living soul of every football institution. Modern football clubs increasingly understand that their greatest asset is not television revenue, sponsorship deals or transfer budgets, but the emotional bond that exists between the club and its supporters/fans.

Over the years, this philosophy and understanding has given rise to a culture of remembrance, solidarity and compassionate outreach whenever tragedy strikes members of a club's fan base.

Arsenal FC itself has a history of recognising and honouring loyal supporters. In December 2015, the club publicly paid tribute to lifelong fan, Ernie Crouch, who died in an accident on December 5, when high winds blew him into the side of a moving bus near Finchley Central station as he was traveling to watch an Arsenal match against Sunderland. Arsenal FC expressed condolences to the family of the deceased who died at the age of 90, while players and former club legends joined in paying tribute to his decades of loyalty.

In another touching example, former Arsenal Manager, Arsène Wenger, in June 2015, personally sent a letter of condolence to the family of lifelong Arsenal supporter, John Cook following his death. Wenger's message acknowledged the fan's dedication and expressed gratitude on behalf of Arsenal Football Club for his staunch support. The gesture deeply touched the bereaved family and became a shining example of the human side of football.

Similarly, Arsenal FC supporters and the club community, in May 2024, paid tribute to a 14-year-old fan, Daniel Anjorin, a British-Nigerian, who was tragically murdered by a sword-wielding attacker in London on April 30th.

In their game against Bournemouth on Saturday that week, the Gunners paused play in the 14th minute as fans clapped in honour of the 14-year-old Anjorin whose favourite player was Bukayo Saka. A moment of remembrance was observed for him at the Emirates Stadium, as the scoreboard beamed Daniel’s image with banners reading “R.I.P Daniel” displayed in various parts of the Emirates Stadium in honour of the late teenage Arsenal fan, showing that football clubs can play a meaningful role in helping families and communities heal from their loss and pains.

Arsenal is not alone in this tradition. In November 2016, Crystal Palace FC publicly extended condolences and solidarity to the family of supporter Dane Chinnery after he lost his life in a tragic accident. The club's leadership, players and staff united in expressing sympathy and support.

Liverpool Football Club has also established a global reputation for memorialising supporters and victims of football-related tragedies. From Hillsborough to Heysel, the club has repeatedly demonstrated that remembrance is not merely ceremonial but a moral obligation. Liverpool's recent unveiling of a new memorial honouring victims of the Heysel disaster reinforces the principle that football clubs must preserve the memory of those whose lives became intertwined with the game.

These examples reflect what has become an international best practice in modern football administration: clubs should maintain meaningful relationships with their supporter communities and respond compassionately when tragedy affects those communities.

Indeed, the governing philosophy behind supporter engagement frameworks promoted throughout European football is that clubs owe a duty of care and moral responsibility toward the people whose loyalty sustains them. While there may be no legal requirement compelling a club to intervene whenever a supporter dies, there is undoubtedly a powerful ethical expectation that clubs should acknowledge extraordinary acts of loyalty and devotion.

It is within this context that Arsenal Football Club should consider taking steps to honour the memory of Chibuzor Nzediegwu.

Such gestures need not be extravagant. It could be by a letter of condolence from the club's leadership, message from the Club's Manager, Mikel Arteta; a commemorative jersey presented to the family, a signed memorabilia package, a mention on the club's official platforms, a video message from players, an invitation for a family representative to visit the Emirates Stadium, or any other befitting was. Any of these would send a strong message that Arsenal values not only trophies and titles but also the supporters whose passion fuels the club's existence.

For the grieving Nzediegwu family, such recognition would provide comfort during this unimaginably difficult period of sorrow. For millions of Arsenal supporters across Africa, it would demonstrate that the club genuinely appreciates the loyalty of its global fan base.

The significance of such a gesture extends beyond one family. Nigeria remains one of Arsenal's largest international support bases. Across cities, towns and villages, countless supporters wake up at odd hours, spend hard-earned income on subscriptions and merchandise, and passionately follow every kick of the ball. These supporters may never set foot inside the Emirates Stadium, yet they remain emotionally invested in the club's fortunes.

Chibuzor Nzediegwu represented this global Arsenal family. He was one of millions whose connection to the club transcended geography, language and nationality.

His death should not be reduced to another viral social media story or a fleeting news headline. It should serve as a reminder of the serious emotional influence football exerts over people's lives.

Football clubs often celebrate their supporters during moments of victory. The true measure of their humanity, however, is revealed in how they respond during moments of grief.

Arsenal Football Club has an opportunity to demonstrate that its famous slogan, "Victoria Concordia Crescit" (Victory Through Harmony) extends beyond the pitch and into the lives of the supporters who make the club what it is.

As tears continue to flow in Umudieleke Umuoru Village, Uga, and as the family of Chibuzor Nzediegwu struggles to come to terms with the reality of this irreplaceable loss, there is this simple hope and expectation among many football lovers across Nigeria that Arsenal Football Club will reach out, stand with the family, and honour the memory of a loyal Gunner whose love for the club endured until the very end of his life.

Although, such a gesture would not change what happened. However, it would ensure that Chibuzor Nzediegwu is remembered not merely as a fan who died watching football, but as a devoted supporter whose loyalty was recognised by the club he loved and cherished till the very last breath of his life.

Just like you didn't want to be serious in catching them when you were COAS. 🙄
You are still useless even in Benin republic
Since you have been here we have never felt any impact from you
treesun:
A former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai (rtd), has questioned claims that security agencies are unable to locate bandits and kidnappers who openly share videos and communicate from their hideouts.

The former Nigerian Ambassador to Benin Republic insisted that authorities have the capacity to track such criminals.

PUNCH Online recalls that gunmen abducted schoolchildren and teachers from three schools in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State, and later beheaded one of the teachers.

Buratai spoke during an interview on TVC on Monday while reacting to concerns over the increasing use of social media and video recordings by criminal groups operating across the country.

Stop Bearing Foreign Names, Be Proud of Yorùbá Identity — Yemi Elebuibon0:00 / 0:00

The retired lieutenant general said he did not believe security agencies lacked the ability to trace bandits who frequently publicise their activities.

“I don’t think they failed to locate. If they can locate ordinary citizens or social media influencers, I don’t believe they can locate these bandits that flaunt their loot or whatever activities they do,” he said.

While stopping short of directly criticising security agencies, Buratai suggested there could be reasons behind their operational decisions.

“I would not like to say it is a capacity-building challenge, but I think they may have their reasons,” he said.

The former army chief stressed the need to strengthen Nigeria’s security architecture through continuous training, recruitment and improved welfare for security personnel.

“There must be capacity building of all the security agencies, and continuously,” he said. “There is a need for more operatives. We need more troops to be recruited, more operatives and more policemen.”

He also highlighted the importance of regular retraining and better living conditions for security personnel.

“They should be trained and retrained. Their welfare is very important. Let us have good accommodation. They must have good accommodation,” he said.

Speaking on whether Nigeria has specialised units capable of carrying out high-risk hostage rescue operations, Buratai said the armed forces possess such capabilities.

“I will not tell you exactly or be specific, but generally we have within the military specialised units trained for such rescue missions,” he said.

According to him, the Nigerian Navy’s Special Boat Service and the Nigerian Army’s Special Forces are equipped and trained for rescue operations and VIP protection assignments.

“The Special Boat Service is trained for such rescue missions. Even the Nigerian Army has Special Forces. They have rescue and VIP protection capabilities,” he said.

However, Buratai noted that operational decisions in kidnapping cases are often shaped by concerns over hostage safety and the risk of collateral damage.

“The sensitivity of that type of kidnap, the location and those involved, and the danger of collateral damage may play a very important part,” he added.

Buratai also advocated the expansion of the National Counter Terrorism Centre under the Office of the National Security Adviser, saying improved coordination and technological capacity would strengthen the fight against terrorism and kidnapping.

“The Office of the National Security Adviser has a Counter Terrorism Centre. I think the commander there is a professional and highly strategic officer,” he said.

He proposed the establishment of state branches of the centre equipped with advanced technology and operational facilities.

“If it can be further expanded to have state branches of the Counter Terrorism Centre with highly technical equipment and very good operations centres or situation rooms, they will be able to do a lot in coordination with the security agencies and the military,” Buratai said.

We spoke from 1 am til 4, reminiscing about everything that played out and I got the closure I needed. She wants back, but I don't have the stomach for it, especially for someone who unintentionally repels love.

She actually said she was scared of loving me deep because she wasn't used to being loved, assured and shown security in a relationship. She's dated 8 men in the past and I'm her 9th. Was treated way worse cuz she was scared of the way I loved selflessly . She was tasting something new for the first time. Every guy she encountered played her cunningly and brutally. The other men got the best treatments and the strength and fruit of her youth while I got unforgiveness, malice, silent treatment and unresolved conflicts with little or no investment from her.

It confirms everything redpill teaches. Never be the hero in her story or the knight that tries to save a woman . A nice guy will always finish last or be used and dumped by a lady. Never invest in a woman , truly. You'll get nothing but punishment. You'll pay for her past.

Kalulu44:
It was the year 2008, just celebrated my 28th birthday and newly acquired apartment to become an independent man. No more living and staying with my parents and siblings.
This freedom and independent started making explore things. It was the year I took my first alcohol and also started clubbing. Though the clubbing of a thing didn't last more than 3yrs before I started detesting it and finally stopped.
One thing I am happy with myself for is, all those years of sowing my wild oats, I never indulged in smoking and taking of hard drugs. Till date I don't know what's smoking or taking of hard drugs is like.
.
So to the main gist. In 2009 at one club along Alaba Int'l road beside Awori College Ojo, Lagos State. The name of the club is Heavens 2, they have Heavens 1 at mainland around Oyingbo area.
I went as usual to catch fun on a Sunday night after a hard days work driving thru out Lagos. Lagos drivers, we dey see money nah. So the one to spend for club no hard.
While dancing and drinking my can of beer, I saw this beautiful dark skin average height girl hit the dance floor.
She was wearing a black silk see thru armless gown that revealed her inner wears of only white bra and equally white panties. And then a red wrist bead on her left hand.
.
I quickly cornered her before other vultures like myself 😀😀😀😀 will do.
Stood in her front and started making some dancing steps towards her. She didn't resist and reciprocated.
Mehn! Before we know it, we don gum body each other. This babe was giving me all the sexy dance steps you can think of, including rubbing her bum bum that is round and firm against my crotch.
Meanwhile other guys have been given her signals to come to where they're. For where, I hold on to her very well.
.
After about 30min sweating it out, I told her let's get a drink and she obliged and we went to the bar where she took Smirnoff ice and I collected another can of beer.
We went and sat at secluded place inside the club and start talking.
We talked and gist, and she told me she came all the way from Port Harcourt for a week visit to Lagos with her family.
That while in Port Harcourt, she's been caged. That's why she decided to come have some fun at the club.
I asked for her name and number, she declined and said I should just enjoy the time I have with her.
.
Hmmm.... Inside me, I was like this one dey whine me ni. Abi bcus you be runs girl.
I didn't asked further, we just had our drinks and hit the dance floor again.
This time around, her sexy dance and manuevering all over my body started doing me serious strong thing.
I didn't know when I whisper in her ears, "why don't we have a quickie?"
To my surprise, she replied with "do they have rooms here" I nodded and she said ok let us go then.
.
Omoh, just like that. I took her upstairs. Paid #500 for short time and we went inside.
While inside, she asked me how much will I give her. Ah ah! I thought you said you came to Lagos to just catch fun I said.
And so, so I should just give you my body for free she said.
I said ok ok, how much does she want?
And she said any good reasonable amount that comes from my mind.
Ah! This girl wan put me on the spot, I said to myself.
Then within me I was battling between giving her 1k or 2k.
.
Finally I deep hand in my pocket and gave her 2k. And then said hope this amount is reasonable. She collected it, smile and nodded and said it's ok I tried.
Then we got down to business, me no dey kukuma forget my Gold Circle back then when going to club, cus possibilities of something going down is always there.
Mehn! This babe gave me an unforgettable s*x. It was like her life depends on it.
She reminds me again that she has been so much caged not to have this kind of fun often.
.
I tried to know how she mean by caged, she just wave me aside to forget. The last word I rmbr from her was: just enjoy me the way you can cus this maybe the last time we'll ever see or meet again.
And true to her word, it was.
After over an hour exploring our bodies.
We freshen up and went back inside the club.
Me I have cum and relief myself, wetin I still wan dey do inside club😀😀😀.
So I told her it's time for me to go, and then persuaded her again to have her number which she still refused.
.
I left her to continue her fun.
The next day Monday, I hit the road for daily bread.
I have gone two trips from Okoko to CMS.
On my 3rd trip around 1pm in the afternoon at Agboju going towards Mile 2. There was heavy traffic. A trailer fell First gate close to Maza-maza making vehicles moved slowly.
While inside the traffic, by my right a little further I saw an SUV with the plate number HRM which means His Royal Majesty King of so so and so place in Port Harcourt (name witheld for some reason).
I just read it and continue my slow movement.
.
The lane I was, then move a little faster which made me stay side by side with the Royal SUV. I looked at the SUV, there was a driver and a matured female with beads all over her neck and she holding something that looks like what all this Lolo we saw in Nollywood movies hold. I said in my mind, that must be the wife of the king, the queen.
Then when I looked at the back seat, they were two girls and a boy sitting there all wearing their royal emblems and what not.
Meaning those are the prince and princesses.
.
Then a sight caught my attention and then look closer to her again. Lol and behold, one of the two girls was the girl I met at the club last night that we had fun and sexcapades together. I almost wanted to call out for her.
But 1. I don't know her name which she never gave me. 2. Their glass were rolled up, how could she even hear me. Then lastly, I thought to myself. Isn't it even foolish and childish of me to try to get her attention.
Not long, their lane and ours moved but theirs moved furtheress than ours.
And before we could say jack Robinson, we are out of the traffic.
I guess they were traveling back to Port Harcourt. I began thinking to myself, why would a bonafide princess come to the club and sell her body, cus I'm very sure after I left, other guys would have take their turns too.
.
Was she really caged according to her and decided to use the opportunity she have to explore things or it's in her blood. I just can't crack my mind as to her situation, so guys what do you think?

Help yourself and go for medical test. You think you are the only one she has done Jackie Chan on bed with? You carry stoner go your family house?

If you get that kind mind you must have slept with her without condom.
Iamdbull:
So I met this girl at an hotel while I was bored as hell and mere looking at her, one will know she’s an addict, so I walked to her and asked if she was a stoner( street name for a weed smoker) she replied in affirmation, so I told her I would love to vibe with her while we smoke even though I don’t smoke, told her that just to get her attention, then I gave her my number because I wasn’t with my phone.

The next day I say her message and did chat her much, so one day after like a week I told her am in town we should chill together, she dropped her location that I should drive down to pick her.

Fast forward to some moments later she was in my crib and something led to the other we started knacking wotoporously. As in let me ask you guys, weed addict as in girl wey don colo don knack you beforehuh?

It was during that last two weeks when one couldn’t wash cloth and hang it outside cos it was raining continuously, na so we Dey inside for 4 days straight Dey give each other woto woto as in all the styles I use to call film tricks in porn she perform am for me live and direct.
She even do 360 on my jt.

Omo so the last day the sex don clear for her eyes she started disturbing me that she wants to smoke and she was doing like her life depends on it, that’s how we went to get the weed, couldn’t even watch ball.

She smoked to her satisfaction, I couldn’t even watch the match because of her and we went home, only for her to start giving me attitude and acting strangely. The next day was the straw that broke the camels back, she started smoking in the house, family house, and I told her when we go back to my place in Lagos she can do as she like, cos I met her when I came for this ileya visit

The craziest part was my late brother was a chronic weed smoker and it traumatized my mum so I told her she can’t try it around only for her to confront me saying she’s going to smoke in front of my parents that’s how I told her to leave.

Omooo can’t get over the sex all on my bed is her smell am going crazy even wrote a song already.

Please what can I do? Such a sexually talented lady cannot be allowed to just go to waste like that please
