Step 1: Pour some quantity of the formula into a pot.

Step 2: Add some water to it, mix thoroughly and place on fire.

Step 3: Begin to stir. When it's a bit thick, add some more water and continue stirring. Allow to cook. The mixture should have doubled the original quantity when cooked.

Step 4: Serve cool.

There is a full sticker on the body of the vaccine that must be removed and pasted on the pet book after which the bet signs and writes the date of vaccination and the next due date. My fear is that your pup might not be properly vaccinated and might be at risk just like my vet exposed Kiara preventable epidemics like Parvovirus. My Vet even tried by putting half a sticker meaning that he was sharing one vaccine for two dogs.
Consult a reputable Vet ooo. Just an advise.

You have to intro it in very small quantity. I started it as a treat den u can mix with its normal food. B4 u know it has no prob to lick its bowl patapata.

Was it prepared exactly as I explained? Did you get the consistency I described? Also, you left out soya beans in your preparation. May I ask why?

Is this this first time you're introducing it to your pup? If yes, you will have to do so gradually as I stated in the initial post above. Your dog won't accept it as it is relatively new to it.

Try mixing it with something it really likes and would readily consume. What it likes should be more, with a little of the formula. Begin to increase the formula while reducing what it likes gradually until it's just the formula left. That's how to introduce your dog to new foods.

The phasing out should be done slowly but gradually. Do not rush it.
11k is a lot of money right now, especially if you're dealing with more than one dog.

This is the first time I'm hearing of a dog rejecting this meal. If you prepare it well and allow to cook, and phase out your dog's food slowly, I'm sure you will see a difference.

i thought milk was a good substitute for Soya since i cant easily roast the outer part like u said is okay for dog consumption. The dog eats so little, i feel at 7weeks, it should eat so much as to have a rounded funny belly... will try to introduce it little by little again...

Hi,

If you're having issues with your dam, you should consult a vet.
The reason your dam is not gaining weight is because she's depleting her body's reserves at her own expense. This is why at this time, her meals should be highly nutritious.

Feeding your dam with just kibbles will not meet up with her current requirements. She should be fed with highly nutritious and palatable meals to help recover nutrients and electrolytes lost during whelping, as well as help with lactation for the pups.

The above formula might help in providing nutrients for your dam. However, you might want to augment it. I suggest you add chicken to it after preparing. The broth used to cook the chicken can also be added to it while preparing. Make sure to remove the bones from the chicken, so as to reduce the stress of having to crack the bones.
Also, always make sure there's water in her whelping box to prevent dehydration. You can give her this three times daily while still giving her the kibbles. As I do not know the amount of litter, you should note that the larger the litter, the greater the nutrient requirements for milk production and consequently, the greater the portions served. Sources of fat are also very important for the overall wellbeing of the dam. In the formula described above, the groundnuts and fish have adequate amount of fats, but you might want to also give your dam whole eggs as eggs contain more than the normal requirement of fat in then.

Your dam might reject some of these foods. So monitor her closely and find out what she likes. Also, do not over feed her. Giving her the right amount is just sufficient.

To recap, introduce chicken bits to the formula. Add broth from the chicken while preparing the formula. Feed 3x daily. If you wish, you can give her kibbles once a day. Water should be readily available to prevent dehydration. Also, one whole egg per day. I hope this helps.

Sorry @ okikiosibodu for my late reply. I lost the female (Kiara) to Parvo. My Vet gave a fake vaccination and I did not know. It was not until she fell sick that the new Vet looked at the pet book and discovered that the sticker from the supposed vaccination was fake. Anyway, the new pup, Nala who will be 9 months of the 9th of September is doing great and really comforting us. She was 8 months in the pix that I posted while the male (Kovu) was 1 year and 10 months there. Pixes are posted again.
