Good morning y'all. recently started noticing things people do in the name of walks and how inhumane some of these things are to our little creatures...

Yes, to exercise your dog every once in a while is good, but doing it at the detriment of you and your dog is a no no for me, i don't know if dog owners are blind to the fact the dogs are very uncomfortable or they just have to show off those poor animals who clearly are in pain for the glances and stares occasionally thrown at them...

Today as i stepped out of my house to get something nearby, i saw a dog owner walking his dog under the hot sun
1. The dog clearly was not enjoying the walking cause it seem to have hip problems considering the way it was swaying
2, the dog was reluctant to walk, the owner had to drag it along considering the strain on the dogs neck
3. The sun was out and both the owner and dog clearly wouldn't enjoy such walks...

So this begs the question, why do you have to walk your dog in this circumstance?

Personally, i walk my dogs almost every weekends, why once a week is cause they are rarely on chain at home and they have a compound they can roam around.

Secondly, i always walk them between 6:30am to 7:30am in the morning and if not in the morning, same time in the evening... No wonder my dogs relish going for their daily walks, i don't need to drag them by the collar and i get the needed exercise my body needs under amazing weather conditions

Thirdly, if you need to walk your dog, try get a harness for it, that way even if you have to pull at time to control, you don't put much force on the neck... I walk two dogs at a time without anyone's help, although my Rottweiler is quite stubborn and likes to take control when out on walks, i still find it less difficult to take them out cause i use a harness instead of a leash to the neck

Some even walk hairy dogs under the hot sun without a water bottle in case the dog gets thirsty, and dogs like dis suffer from heat stroke under such conditions. I was really irritated when i saw a dog going through this ordeal today, and that is why i ask, why do dog owners suffer themselves and the dog all in the name of walks?

Over the years, our local breed have grown immune to parvo, so it only happens in rare occasions... Although, most times, they are carriers of the virus, but it never really affects them... Thats why local dogs roam around, come in contact with different dog poops, but rarely get down with parvo which the foreign dogs cant

Put her on IV fluid, try get a vet that can help u treat her at home, why i said at home is cause the dog needs all d love and support it can get, and that u can only give her not your vet... I have two dogs and both had parvo at one stage of their lives... Bro, it is not easy, u can treat urself, but you are giving d dog a lesser chance of survival...


NB: parvo is a viral disease, no cure, it has to run its cause... All dis medication is to keep it hydrated and prevent further infection since the dogs immunity is compromised

The issues of vaccinating ur dog and your dog will still contact poavo is by using fake vaccine. Wen u use fake vaccine on ur dog simply means uve not vaccinate ur dog and ur dog is prone to the deadly disease China has produced soo many fake vaccine. However beware and don't use this vaccine called (PROVAC).

My two dogs that came down with Parvo wer vaccinated with PROVAC... Does it mean the vaccine is fake? Or they wer not administered properly and at the right time

Vaccines should, I vaccinated my dogs but they still came down with it... Most times, owners and vets vaccinate too early thereby making d vaccine useless... You welcome

If thats truly from your dog, it definitely is Parvo... Parvo is severe in puppies and kills within 24 to 72hours... Its a viral disease so it doesn't have a cure, can only be managed... My two dogs have gone down with parvo one time or the other and they are better for it now cause i believe they are immune to it for now... Early detection and treatment is key, if u notice ur dog has not eaten for a day, lethargic, and hiding. Contact your vet fast... Lastly, d owners love also helps keep d dog going, during those hard days and nights, i sit with my dog and say encouraging things to them, i even promised my puppy a fantastic day out if it survives, it survived but i am yet to keep to my promise... A good Vet is mostly d difference between life and death of our dear pets
