Nigeria, The State of Slavery .........Part 1

"We should have wiped the continent clean of you cockroaches, an over abundance of empathy is our greatest flaw"

This comment above about killing the entire Nigerians was written by one Bishop Paru Deum in response to my comment on @RT's Twitter post "Humanity at risk as sperm levels amongst Western men plummet to record low".

Before I could recover from its dehumanizing content, Glen wrote:

"The world isn't ready for planet of the apes".

Angry Asian who is probably a Chinese wrote : " Yeah! Africa where they still fling shit at each other ".

Then Bishop Paru Deum added:

"If the West stopped feeding and funding you, your entire continent would return to the Stone Age after a total cannibalistic Armageddon.

To cap it up, another tweeter by name Honest Hardworker added :

"You know, a capable people wouldn't let foreigners repeatedly enslave and dispossess them. Hey, how is China treating you? How did the Arabs?"

Attached you shall find a few of the over 50 tweets of pure unadulterated hatred against Nigeria and the black race. As they poured, one after the other, I tried defending those I could then after a while, I gave up. There were too many of them. But I went intermittently to read the comments and my heart sank deeply into despair. The tweets were made from Americans, Brits, Chinese and many more white nations yet no one came to Nigeria's rescue.

The whole world knows about slavery and colonialism; about the exploitation of Africa especially Nigeria yet not one tweet called for a "STOP" to the highly racist and discriminating attacks NOT ONE.

I felt very angry. I cried and felt violated . Then I wiped my tears and reflected the situation in Nigeria ... maybe they aren't far from the truth. Have we loved ourselves enough to patriotically develop upon our chances and resources

I suddenly remembered a cold discussion with an Exxon Mobil expatriate and my hard talk with Professor Pat Utomi... pardon me sir but I think Nigerians deserve to hear it ...

Nigeria, the state of slavery .... part 2

Nigerian Senators compromise on #Ajaokuta Steel in exchange for Louis Vuitton shoes and shopping spree in Paris ...

A few years ago, Professor Utomi was in Paris for a conference when he got a phone call from a senator friend of his who happened to also be in Paris. They agreed to meet up the next day.

The next day, a bus pulled up by Prof's hotel and he hopped in to meet it filled with Senators and government officials amongst others. They drove to Champs Elysees (a luxury shopping street in Paris). Louis Vuitton (LV) was their first stop. The senators lousily helped themselves to shoes, belts, briefcases, and many other items ... each senator picked and packed till their hands were filled to the brim.

Embarrassed Prof whispered to his friend "what is going on here? Who is going to pay for all these items running to hundreds of thousands of Euros ?"

The senator replied "It's these guys over there" pointing at some white men . "They are interested in the privatization of Ajaokuta steel and brought us (the committee members) to Paris for a treat in turn for some administrative favors".

Prof's heart missed beats upon hearing that.

"Prof, are you not picking anything? These Oyinbos are desperate for Ajaokuta and have money o. You better shop your share on their pocket ".

Just not to feel off, Prof picked up a bottle of perfume but insisted on paying for it himself.

As they all walked out of the LV store and into the bus, each senator with a minimum of 4 huge shopping bags struggled to get seated in.

Prof was squeezed in between the lot as the senators' laughter and gist of shopping conquests filled the air.

"I was disgusted Natasha. Did our distinguished senators just sell Ajaokuta off for Louis Vuitton goods? Did I just witness Nigeria's steel future being determined on the streets of Paris?"

They were setting off to another treat by the Ajaokuta investors but he pleaded with his senator friend to drop him off at his hotel because he had to get to his paperwork.

Prof got to his room and settled at his desk to work but as he held unto his pen, his pen held unto his heart. He wanted to write out how angry and cheap he felt. How hopeless and sorry our country's future was ... but he couldn't .

He sat at his desk all night till early morning reflecting on all the mishaps Nigeria steel sector faced right from the days of Sir Tafawa Balewa till now.

"Why don't you speak about this sir " I asked Prof.

"I will do so when Nigerians are ready for the truth " Prof responded .

Dear Nigerians, are you ready for the truth? Are you ready to emancipate yourself from mental slavery?

Yesterday, Fayemi announced that he briefed president Buhari on his Ajaokuta's plans ...

Ask yourself "were there any compromises made to the detriment of my future?"

I ask you... yes you reading this " Take a look at your life and tell me what you would do to liberate yourself and your children from slavery" ?

May I remind you of Honest Hardworker's comment from my previous post

" How is China treating you Nigeria"?

Or Bishop Paru's comment :

"We should have wiped the continent clean of you cockroaches" .

Nigeria, we either work together as a team or we fail individually. The choice is ours.

Topgainer:

Write a new Bible and include all the things your Pastor told you about tithe there. But note that 10% of one's money is not tithe not according to Abraham not according to Moses and not according to Jesus.
You should have began your analysis by bringing up where Jesus, Pastor Peter or Apostle Paul took tithes from their Church members.
I advise you to educate your self with numerous resources disproving (begin by searching Tithe on nairaland) the modern tithe schemes which from all indications had no origin from the Bible standards, definition and purpose of tithing.

Lol,do you think I actually have time to do this back and forth with you? Find another sparing partner bro
Religion / Daddyfreeze And The Controversial Litv Interview On Titheing by courseadivsor: 5:26pm On Oct 01, 2017
I didn't watch the whole interview, I only saw the IG bit.

It was interesting to hear you talk for 31secs. As I listened, I kept trying to differentiate you from the popular hyenana video guy. You were spilling rubbish. if only you knew that the BIBLE is not English language. Your facts are inaccurate .

Unfortunately, most of those who heard you blab about tithing have no clue how backward you just set them. You would rob them of the blessings titheing unleashes. I'm not here to debate the moral ethics of men of God or your attacks on them. I am not their advocate neither am I their judge. However, you touched one of the very major part of my faith,Insulting the intelligence of the Holy Spirit who inspired the bible. ‎I won't take that uncle.

Permit me to educate you on what you obviously know zero about, so you can in turn unlearn what you think you know.

Err, Broda mii Freeze, paying of tithe didn't start with Moses . You see there are three major dispensations out of the 7dispensations.

The dispensation of Faith.
The dispensation of the Law.
The dispensation of Grace.

Tithing started with Daddy Abraham, under the dispensation of Faith. Check gen14vs19-22. He paid it to Melchizideck, who was the high priest of salem.

However, tithing was institutionalized under Moses which was the dispensation of the Law, the isrealites were to hand their tithe over to the high priest.

Under Grace ,which is the dispensation we currently are, we pay tithe directly to Jesus who is now our high priest, represented by the Pastor of your local church .
Primarily, we pay tithe to advance ourselves. We pay tithe to connect to in flow of wealth. Tithing is a channel of recieving financial provisions.
What the pastor decides to do with the tithe is another thing. But Christians do it in line with faith, which was the dispensation the first tithe was paid.

My pastor Biodun Adeyanju would always say that the wisdom of God is not hard, it is only hidden, and only seekers can find it.
Broda mii Freeze, next time, get your facts very right before coming out.
You're welcome sir.

Yea, that's me on the hot seat braiding my hair. Don't worry about my face, focus on that lil girl. Although the picture isn't clear.

This is my first time of visiting this particular saloon and I saw something incredible. All my life(more than 30decades now)I've never seen a 7years old girl that can braid like this. Infact, I have never seen a 7years old braid at all.

She not only braids, her braids are tight ,crisp and seamless. This lil girl is in basic3 and she speaks the queens english fluently.
Her mother is the owner of the saloon and she involves all her children in the trade. Apart from sound education, that's one hardcore skill that can never be taken away from her.
Now tell me how this "becoming teenager" will not remain relevant amongst her peers?

BottomLine - every child is a canvas, they reveal what you draw on them. Parents, lead them right.

THERE ARE ONLY TWO TRIBES IN NIGERIA

BY Sanusi Lamido Sanusi

Tribalism is not our problem. Tribalism and religion are artificial problems created by selfish leaders for their own personal interest.

There are only two major tribes in Nigeria. The Elites and the Masses. Once you make lots of money, you belong to the elite tribe. When you are a commoner or suffering, you belong to the tribe of the masses. If you are an elite, and you need more power, or elective position, you sow seeds of tribalism and religion among the masses, so as to sway their emotion for your personal victory. This happens at both the national and state level. Unfortunately, after the election when they have won and joined their “sworn enemies” to drink and party, the gullible masses continue to fight each other.

Even smart people who belong to the masses, sometimes will sow seeds of tribalism and religion among the masses, and then the masses will carry them up until they belong to the elite class. It is a classic strategy used over 3000 years ago in the art of war. A commoner who aspires to sit with the elites, could stir up powerful tribal or religious sentiments, such wave if properly utilized either by shedding blood or destabilizing the elites, carries the commoner to the elite class. But once there, he immediately mingles and makes peace with the elite tribe, and turn his back on the same masses that helped him get there.

Youths are the worst victim of this powerplay, they kill each other, call other tribes unprintable names, do terrible things and sometimes, even lose their life, thinking they are fighting for their right, not knowing that they are fighting for the personal welfare of someone, whose own children are probably safe in America or London.

So youths, don’t hope on the government. If you don’t have a job, create one. There is abject poverty in the south as well as the north, whether Ogoni or Maidugri. At the same time, there is massive wealth in Lagos, Onitsha, Nnewi, Aba, Kano, Abuja, irrespective of zone.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it well and never remain idle. No job is too low for an idle hand, or else the devil will find work for you. As you become independent, and grow your capacity, do not lose hope in Nigeria. We are the largest economy in Africa and soon the world will fear us. Western powers, don’t like big economies that threaten them, America will do anything to break China, but China is wise to resist that. China has 1.6 billion people, we have only 170 million, and we are talking of breaking.

China has 5 major religions which are Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Islam and Christianity. Nigeria has only 2 major religions, Christianity and Islam. Yet we claim that religion is our problem.

America, the strongest economy is comprised of every tribe in the world, since they accept anybody from any part of the world. Yet they are united and extremely patriotic. Nigeria has only 3 major tribes, and we claim tribalism.

Think clearly and deeply, and you will realize that empowering yourself is the best course of action, not fighting each other. And once the youths are empowered, they can begin to take back their future from the hands of the old and corrupt generation that has been blinding Nigerians with hatred, while looting all her resources. Sani Abacha’s loot is still stashed away in Switzerland, did he use it to develop the north? Those that stole billions under GEJ stashed it away in foreign banks, bought expensive toys, jets and foreign homes, are they using it to develop the south? Now the ones stealing currently, including the “grasscutters”, are looking for Ikoyi apartments, abandoned houses, and pit toilets to hide it, are they using it for the youths in their tribe? NO!

Youths shine your eyes ! Don’t always fall for this tribal, religious sentiments over and over again. Nigeria is bigger than these corrupt elites. They are the problem, not the poor masses.

About the new CRS removal for our Education Curriculum.

Please visit http://www.nerdc.org.ng/ecurriculum/CurriculumStructure.aspx

------------------------------------

The Fed. Ministry of Education did not remove CRS from school curriculum. They only merged CRS and IRS with other subjects under Religious and National Values (RNV) and they (CRS and IRS) are to be taught separately in separate classes.

In my opinion, I think the Ministry of Education and NERDC should have done more to sensitize the public regarding these merging so as to drowse rising tension. Besides, Christianity based schools can still teach or talk about their faith.

If I were CAN and want to push a case, I would rather talk about the advantages Muslim students would have over their Christian counterpart now that they have this option. 'Cos the truth is 99% of Christian students will not go for Arabic while majority of their Muslim counterparts will opt for it.

More importantly we need to know that Arabic is not Islam but a language just as English and French. It is high time we started to encourage our students to take other languages apart from English.

---hear what a fellow Educator had to say on this development ---

I am a Christian, I attended Ansar Ud Deen College in Isolo, Lagos when it was still controlled by the government. I remembered when it was proposed that everyone should take Arabic language in school , majority of our Christian parents went against it because to them it means trying to islamise the Christian children. But I tell you, today that one of the wrong decisions I made is rejecting to learn that language. This is due to the fact that there are opportunities I would have gotten outside the country and to understand Arabic is required.

So sentiments apart, the world is becoming more global every day, the more languages you know how to speak and write the better for you. Let's be wise

The Palace spokesperson urged everyone not to wear any shoes within the vicinity of the masquerades, adding that female must not wear any form of head ties to the event.

The State Government had assured residents and visitors of adequate security for a successful festival and advised the public that the procession would take off from Iga Iduganran to terminate at Tafawa Balewa Square where the various Eyo groups would be on parade.

All advised to avoid Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan, Idumota, Obalende, Igbosere, Adeniji Adele and its environs due to a high potential for breakdown of law and order

Wherever you are on the Island on Saturday between 0800-1900hrs, you are advised to exercise sensible security precautions and expect unusually high human traffic to the Island.

Personally, I believe Education should be all about shaping the kind of citizen a country needs and schools are meant to be the breeding ground..... the question right now should be, what kind of citizens does Nigeria need? What kinds of citizens are our schools breeding?

Next week, I will begin a series on the 10 kinds of students Nigerian secondary schools should be breeding. But before then,i like to sample different opinions - WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE REAL PURPOSE OF EDUCATION?

Update on The Caretakers™

Yesterday, I made a call for volunteers to join a social community I wanted to start. It's a community service to secondary schools students.

So far, 11 people have buzzed me privately with interest to join. I'm amazed. Who would have thought some well meaning Nigerians are actually ready to do much more than pronounce a one sided judgment on social media. They want to get involved, these are people I have never met before in my entire life, but see how our kindred spirit has pulled us together all because of a post!

Lol, I actually have a Kanuri man, An igala man, a Tiv, 2 togolese, a former addict, a current snapchat slay queen .... and reading as each one of them shared their reason for picking this gauntlet made me weep, (well almost weep) with Joy.

Did I remind you I didn't even ask them about their religion. Personally, I'm more concerned about their relationship with fellow humans , their personal honor and what makes their heartbeat in excitement . As for the God or god's they serve or choose not to serve, - My life as an entrepreneur and experience as an Educator has taught me that the most important thing to look out for in a man is the state of his conscience ; how healthy or sick or weak or dead his conscience is determines the level at which he operates.

I don't know my co-volunteers that much yet, but I truly hope their conscience speaks loud enough for them to hear.

There's still room for more in this boat. It's not too late to volunteer . Remember, we are in this together. Tomorrow, I will share the story of the former addict who buzzed me earlier today. Powerful testimonial.

But first, let me share a bit on The Caretakers ™ .

There is hardly any support for teenagers, and the little we have are barely noticeable. Surprisingly, this demography roughly calculated represents at least 36% of our total population. Now 36% might not be something when you look at it on the graph, but if you consider that Nigeria is steadily tipping towards a population of 193million people, then you'd appreciate it when I tell you that 36% of 193million is a whooping 69.48million, that’s as big as the size of 5West African Countries put together.

Wake up Guys, we have close to 70million juveniles (10yrs-20yrs) scattered all over Nigeria, at least 69million of them are without adequate formation support and proper mentorship.

Some of these teenagers are victims of abuse (of all kinds),some are from dysfunctional homes, some are under intense emotional disturbance, some are battling with all manners of addiction, depression, suicidal thoughts, many of them are struggling with media influence. Majority are preys of vices of the society they found themselves in, and seeing the odds are against them, they become predators themselves.

But Not Anymore ***

My birthday is May 21st, next Sunday. And I want it to mark the beginning of something significant and directly impactful. Beyond the birthday wishes and celebrations, I would be Launching THE CARETAKERS which is the CSR arm of my private Guidance Service: The Course Adviser.

The Caretakers is all about service to humanity: similar to what the British / Americans call social service or community service, all I ask is you volunteer 30-60mins of your time just once a week to visit secondary schools in your neighborhood, particularly pry6 & government secondary schools.

Let’s go plant seeds of hope, let's go re awaken desires to dream, let's go talk to students.

But we won’t just go there to talk any talk, it’s a deliberate talk. A talk with an intent to see transformation. As Volunteers, we would first re-train ourselves, then we would discuss and decide the virtues & qualities we want to see in our students, then we would break up into teams, and go to the field.

The task is enormous, but so is the journey of a thousand miles.
All we have to do is take the first step.

The Caretakers is neither a religious nor a ethnic community. It's network of well meaning Nigerians who are passionate about the next generation of leaders Nigeria will produce.

We would begin with Lagos, until it spreads all through Nigeria. Over the week, I will be sharing more insight on The Caretakers. It's not like I have everything completely figured out, but I do have quite a number of trainings, certification and experience to begin with . I am willing to pour my all into this project, and I am well open to ideas and suggestions from genuinely concerned members of the society.

This movement will go a long way, as I intend to knock on every doors available. It's a noble cause, and I want you to be a part of it. Instead of sitting on the sidelines doing nothing, here's one avenue for you to get involved.

This is the best birthday wish you can ever give to me - Support The Caretakers. Lets change the future, one adolescent at a time.

Interested people should please add me up on whatsapps : 08057318900.
