What country have you seen this? There are very few instances where a congregation allows Beards but in very few countries.The General rule is as a JW Male, you aren't allowed to Keep Beards and be an Elder or ministerial servant. You can't give talks as well. I have heard this rule does not apply in very few locations but in the majority of the rest of the world, keeping Beards are forbidden. Even in Nigeria, it is strictly forbidden. You will never see a JW MALE with Beards here and even if JWs see another with beard, they don't hesitate to tell him to shave it immediately. This is why this change of this rule has many reactions.

The government of the Netherlands investigated Jehovah's Witnesses for Child Sexual Abuse and their poor handling of the cases. This was as a result of complaints from Victims in that country. Jehovah's witnesses in that country now went to sue the country for discrimination and their focus on the religion only instead of investigating other religions. 1. The Zionists who believe every word of the Torah and their other sacred texts to be actual history and thus follow it word for word in its literal sense - just like fundamental Muslims.

Because of this, they believe in war and conquering of other nations, just like the ancient Israelites are described in the Bible.

2. They is another group of people who practice true Judaism and look beneath the surface of these Bible stories - they look beyond the "history" and practice the hidden or esoteric meaning of these texts - more like the Sufist Muslims.

Study these two groups, and see will see a big difference.

For example, A JW Man woke up from the Cult when the Elders in his congregation were ganging up against him (Usual JW Politics in a congregation) to remove him from his Elder position simply because his daughter was attending a University. They were to meet with their circuit overseer and let him know that his daughter was in the University when it is a rule in JW that Elders are not to take their children to University or else they will be removed from their position. And you know being an Elder is like being in a Political office. That's where they like to exercise power to control others in the congregation. It is a power intoxicating position that JW Men don't like to lose since they are losers/nobodies outside the Cult.

So, This JW Man found out their plan and decided to Google to know why this rule exist because he couldn't understand his offence of taking his daughter to the University since you can never find such ridiculous rule in the Bible. That's how this Man got to know that JW is a Cult. His eyes were now opened and he bumped into the site jwfacts.com. He then realised the Cult was a Scam and all their beliefs were made up. So, he then decided to announce to the whole congregation during a Zoom meeting on Sunday while giving a comment, that he has decided to step down from Elder position before the rest of the elders together with the Circuit overseer drop him. He expressed his disappointment with how much he has been scammed to belong in a Cult and said that no one in the congregation should bother contacting him as he doesn't want to have anything to do with anybody there.He then mentioned the website he visited of which he got to know that JW is a Cult.
