This Domain Biz is Funny biz and I will Advice Doing It As secondary biz,i'm always Careful investing In It because when You Need The Money you May not Get Sale. After Outbounding and follow up to Almost 100 endusers i Get Only One Reply Of "NO, AM NOT INTERESTED FOR NOW" it Was As If i contacted lifeless people funny Biz
Domaining is quite cheap to get started and I want to believe you are investing an amount you are willing to let go. If you do that, there won't be anything like the bolded.

Nothing is promised mate, so run this business with that in mind. If you don't land a sale when you desperately need it, the positive vibe here should be enough encouragement for you that you are on the right path.

I don't subscribe to getting a loan to run this. Don't put yourself under undue pressure. Purchase domains within your budget. Handregs and expired domains is definitely within everyone's budget. You should also not depend on domaining for survival. Get a side gig that will cover for your daily expenses and afford you a little more to invest.

Like Bob Dylan said, “When you got nothin, you got nothin to lose.” Most of us that came across this thread for the first time fit into the above statement, which fortunately is an advantage for us.

But when you eventually gain something from a position where you don't give a damn about failure, that feeling is much more gratifying than sex. Push on!

Stock kernel? Screenshot your app battery usage.

Is this the one you flashed?
I don't understand what you mean by kernel but @pic 1 is what I flashed.

I don't know how this usage is calculated but I experienced 15% battery drain within 60 minutes. Battery saver is activated and I was on Binance and Telegram within this time.

I can't download them, why?
click on each of the book, you should be able to download it that way.

Alternatively, you can install Anybooks from Playstore. Almost all the top books are available on it. You just search and add to your library. You continue from your last read point whenever you feel like reading. Not free though.

Stop calling an honest person a coward please. This is why many people pretend to be happy for you when inside inside they are jealous. Because if they are honest with their feelings people will call them cowards.
I'm not sure he said I'm a coward. He said intimidation is meant for cowards while motivation for the braves.

I don't know maybe this a stupid appeal but Sirs & Ma's, it would be nice if you don't reveal cash transactions on this thread. Not only for the fear of being prey to scammers (I believe they're present here as well), but so you don't discourage young folks like myself by the figures you call. Please Gurus, how much do you guys think it will be worth and how do I go about it. I would appreciate as much advise as I can get, thank you.

I run a business, mind you

And I know how difficult it is to start a business in Nigeria.

You will agree with me that most times, workers that earn decent salaries perform well than those who earn peanuts.

I don't know why you create your own business.

Apart from making profit, part of my reasons is improving the welfare of my workers and reducing poverty.

I will rather shut down my business if I'm making profit but my workers' welfare is in jeopardy.

In my world, employees' welfare is more important than profitability.

I believe if my employees are happy my customers will be happy.

NOTE. I'm not talking about theory here. I've applied this principle in my line of business and it has always worked for me.

Even when I was helping my mum to sell textiles in idumota a few years ago, I applied this same principle and it worked.

An average employee in Nigeria believes employers are wicked, callous and insensitive to their welfare.

If many employers can improve the welfare of their workers in Nigeria, I'm sure the rate of dishonest workers will reduce and employers will reduce their cost of rehiring new workers.

May be you should try this and see the results.

It may not work all the time, but it works most of the times.
You have a point. I went for an interview last year as a sales attendant in a pharmacy. I actually saw the job post here on Nairaland. I was interviewed by a pharmacist there because the owner wasn't around. Before I left, the owner called the store's line via Whatsapp and talked individually with those of us that came for the interview.

I didn't take the job because the salary can only cover for my transportation and feeding. Which means nothing left for my upkeep. While leaving each one of us was given a thousand naira for transport. This singular act made me conclude the owner is someone that thinks about the welfare of others.

Some days after, I received a call from the owner. It was then l realized the man was living in Atlanta. He said he understood while I couldn't take the job as the pay wasn't much. And that's the reason why he needed someone living within the estate so they won't have to spend on transportation. He even offered to give me 2 months salary in advance if I'm interested in looking for a house nearby which I turned down.

He asked about what I thought about the set-up and how they can improve. I gave him my honest opinion that it's easy to steal something from the store without the security camera recording it. He admitted that the office Android phone was stolen a few days earlier by unknown customers and they're planning on protecting the store from theft. Our relationship ended there but I respected him for one thing - thinking about the welfare of his employees.

What I'm trying to bring out is that employees can only work for the interest of their employer only when they're assured their own interest is protected. If it isn't, they'll most likely look for dishonest means to meet up. It is what it is.

SEYIKP:
if not for the evil governments we are having at all levels. Ordinarily the people that lived in the geographical location called Nigeria, are great people. That loves to do things in a legit ways. The army and the political elites open up the flood gate to corruption.
This is always the complain and nothing is getting better. The people in government are Nigerians like you and I. When they leave, young people will fill up the position and most likely, prove to be worse. Yahaya Bello is a good example.

The govt may be a huge part of the problem but what about everyone else?

We all are doing at least one thing wrong that's not helping our country. I don't expect anyone to agree with me though. We always like to think of ourselves as the smart guys that does things solely for our own benefit not minding the effect on others.

Politicians will loot funds meant for the public good, Contractors will inflate cost of executing a project, employers will treat employees like slaves, paying them money barely enough for their needs. Employees will steal from workplace or even plan a heist as seen recently with some bank robberies.

Lecturers will demand money or sex for grades, students will pay or cheat just to get the certificate. People will abuse position of trust. Even clerics are not left out. We've heard cases of pastors or church executives stealing from the church.

Talk about the youths? We are at the forefront. Can't do any honest dealing online. Even the physical dealings sef, you have to pick a location where you won't be robbed or killed. I can order for one million goods on AliExpress and sleep in peace but can't send 20,000 naira to a business person I've not met before on Nairaland because I fit don enter one chance. Honest Nigerians are even scared to disclose their identity when doing business online. Thanks to the activities of Hushpuppi, Invictus Obi, and many others not so popular.

Talk about systemic corruption, civil servants are are not left out. Defrauding the govt is common among them. One person taking salary of ten people under ghost employment. Won't sign documents if you don't give tips, security protocols won't let you see oga if you don't give tips. Private organizations are not left out too.

I was on the job vacancies thread during the NDLEA online recruitment. The reason why many people are interested in the job is because they believe one can make fast money from collecting scheduled bribes from the people they're meant to bring to justice. When they don't get the job (which many probably won't), they blame the politicians for job racketeering.

Report that a cleaner returned lost money to the owner and you'll hear things like na suffer go kee dis one, God don pick im call but the idiot hang up. These are the same set of people blaming the woes of the country on the politicians. What they lack is the opportunity to do worse than the politicians are currently doing.

The police officer you despise was once like you before taking up the job. The intimidating SARS officers didn't drop from the sky. If you have a soldier friend and you have a disagreement with someone, dat pesin don hear am cos you go use your soldier friend intimidate am.

Crazy country with self-righteous citizens!

Politicians won't obey traffic rules. Their security escort must clear the path so they can hurry along. Where are they in a hurry to? Even rich folks will request for private security from the police to guide their houses simply because they have the money. And when we leave the shores of this country, we behave ourselves out there. Something we've refused to do here.

Whenever you feel like laying blame on the politicians, think about what you're doing that's not helping Nigeria. Maybe if we all start doing this, our country will become better.
