Closing domiciliary accounts is imperative at this critical time. We can't be spending and saving in dollars in Nigeria |
traware:Please go to comedy section...or if you don't know the meaning of words, google is your friend. patriarchy /ˈpeɪtrɪɑːki/ noun a system of society or government in which the father or eldest male is head of the family and descent is reckoned through the male line. |
Dangote must consider Nigerian market first. Government must work with Dangote, via concession or cheap crude, up to the amount Dangote supplies to Nigerian market... Dangote no fit scam us like subsidy regime na. Nigerians deserve to buy affordable PMS because we have the resources, the people must enjoy the resources too not just politicians enjoying the revenue. |
Olalan:Nigerian government don't play with rape. |
1Sharon:As for me, I believe in freedom, but a married woman/a woman in a committed relationship should know her role and obligations without being told. No one is saying a woman should pay the house bills, all we are saying is appreciate Nigerian men, and be realistic. A lot of ladies act like they are not in same country and don't know what economy is saying...I like to treat women nicely, wine and dine and all, but the woman should appreciate rather than become entitled... though I know not all women are like this, but it seems like all the good girls are indoors, and the bad ones are the ones outside... tarnishing the image of the righteous ladies...by righteous am not talking religion. Are you one of the righteous ones Sharon ![]() |
1Sharon:There is no competition between a man and woman. Our system is patriarchy. |
1Sharon:I saw your picture, you be fine lady...but feminism don't work in Nigeria. Am not saying ladies should or would be the bread winner, am saying impress your man too, if you like him enough...feminism is an idea of the foreign land, it's not in our ways, culture. |
Nigerian ladies men have become smarter...the era of a man loving you, paying your bills, wooing you and marrying you without you having anything is almost over. That is why so many ladies in their forties no husband. Forget the conservatism, if you want a man, make money, impress the man, buy him gifts, support his business, times don change. |
Vigilante people are angry, ipob has killed and kidnapped a lot of their brothers, sisters, mom, dad... igbos are very calm, in some areas or states, the people would have mobilized and start hunting all or any ipob members or supporters. |
Leg chain, those slutty eye lashes, bleached out skin, multiple nose rings and piercings, and the money hungry mentality. |
Unecesary |
Giving Wike an appointment was one of the actions that smeared this Tinubu government. Wike is an error, he just does media propanganda and a lot of theatrics. |
This FG is insensitive to the plight of Nigerians. Nigerian politicians are evil. |
Cowards, stop making noise, do what you can. |
The interviewer asked her the question, social media always quoting people out of context. |
Kill them all, everyone around terrorists are terrorists, anyone hiding terrorists are terrorists, just bomb the devil to hell, along with their friends, well wishers and supporters. |

Obaseki should seek unification of all Edo people, and even South South people by extension, why is Obaseki not focusing on development of Edo state? |
Reasonable, progressive igbos are endangered species, in the hands of Ipob and ESN... |
tollyboy5:Island parts, 800 years ago, Lagos island was a bushy, swampy area, nobody was there, aboriginal southwestern people and illaje communities live in hintherlands and core mainland, but island- Lagos Island, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Apapa, etc, were bush and swamp, Benin empire had boats and soldiers, they used the chanel via waterways into Lagos, seeking more trade routes to trade with the Portuguese and Europeans...and started collecting taxes. This is documented facts. King Ado, a Benin Prince, is the first crowned Oba of Lagos, this shows you that Benin empire controlled Lagos, in it's formative years, the first crowned king of Lagos is a Benin Prince, installed there by Oba of Benin. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Lagos#:~:text=Following%20its%20early%20settlement%20by,which%20means%20Lake%20of%20Curamo. What the Oba of Benin stated it's fact...the Oba didn't say Benin founded all part of Lagos, he said the nucleus of Lagos, the island, where Marina is, Lagos island, down to Apapa, areas, the parts of Lagos facing the economic waterways.

All these episodes you are narrating doesn't have timelines? Benin Prince sojourned into areas known as Ile'Ife now, almost 1700 years ago...Edo prince created Ile'Ife, and Oyo and Yoruba land grew from there. You didn't add any timeline to your gibberish. Oduduwa was not a spirit like your fables dictate, how can you a learned man believe in fables, and oduduwa coming from the sky. When indegenous yorubas saw the Benin Prince in the area now known as Ile'Ife, they marveled at how he survived in the jungle and managed to thrive and build a community, with the Benin guards and associates who went him him, who are later refered to as Aworis... they called him a god that fell from the sky. When the Benin Prince got to the area now called ile'Ife, it was a deserted jungle, indegenous yorubas have not built communities then, Ile'Ife became the cradle of Yoruba culture and people, this is more than a thousand years ago. https://edoworld.net/Edo_origin_of_Ile_ife_monarchy.html

Mumu, this is 18th century, we are talking of 700 years ago, when yorubas were not in Lagos, Benin empire created Lagos, the main parts of it, Island. Everyone knows aboriginal southwestern people own the land, because it's where they dominate, but this piece of history about Benin creating Lagos island, and Island areas of Lagos is true. More traders, both Europeans, Portuguese and local indigenes trooped into island, when Benin empire brought it's security there, it became safe and organised, to live and trade. Oba of Benin did not say Benin own Lagos, of course the indigenous southwest people own it, but he is stating facts, when he spoke about creating Lagos, and turning it into a bouyant, safe state, to trade and live...the first Oba and all is from Benin empire. |
Let the great Oba breathe, you people stop discussing the Oba, it's okay. |
You go country without being invited, and you expect the government to give you free housing? You people are disgracing Africa with all these nonsense behavior. |
