You said you might be wrong with this thread and you are right.
It is true that the dates of christmas was fixed at the time the pagans used to have their festival.It was done so that instead of continuing in pagan worship,they can now gather at the same period to know the true God and worship Him.There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Op,did you ever hear the statement Jesus made when he said He is the Lord of the sabbath?Do you know what it means?Dates don't mean a thing.
