a few weeks ago I told some nairalanders from the SE a couple of things and they rained insults on me. well we are seeing things unfold. The exact reasons I gave then are the same reasons in the article.

1. The south east is insignificant in the political calculations of the country, they have nothing to offer either PDP or APC. APC does not need them and PDP knows they have nowhere else to go.

2. PDP needs votes from the SW and the North to stand any chance in 2019. the SE vote is guaranteed and therefore no need to appease the SE with a VP slot

3. therefore it would be stoopid of PDP to pick a VP from the SE


I will also say no one is making a SE person president or VP in this country anytime soon.
Se should go and learn how to get along with others before demanding anything.

Close the US embassy?
Impose sanctions on the US?
