You have a valid point, but wrong marking of up to three questions screams incompetency and who ever was involved in marking of that script should be sanctioned.

For writing, it's understandable and if it were only one question mixed up in reading, but up to three questions, something is wrong. Such person should have no business marking READING scripts going forward.

Nevertheless, for reading, you must understand that the difference between a score of 7.5 and 8.5 is only 3 wrongly or rightly marked questions. And for Pete's sake it's a paper-based exam that is administered by humans, hence prone to errors!

It is not a Nigerian thing neither is anyone trying to fleece you of your money. I mean, you get a refund of your EOR fee if there are any changes in your test result.

The onus is on every test taker to prepare very well, perform excellently and if the result isn't satisfactory, you contest it by asking for a remark.

I really think something is fundamentally wrong with IELTS exam markers. How on earth will they make costly mistakes in marking objectives (READING) such that it has to be upgraded from 7.5 to 8.5.

Even a primary school student won't make an error of such. Do they vet their examiners at all? I mean, this is really annoying. I can only imagine numerous people that have been marked down wrongly and had to dish out another 75k without thinking of EOR.

I really wish something could be done or an external body can audit or check their activities.

There's something not right about that organization called British Council and MOD/IDP, but unfortunately, we're at their mercy.

I was so depressed that I even requested a remark for the 9 in listening. I don't wanna know how all components changed or how there was a full band change in 2 component(even in the reading which is supposed to be objective).
I no wan know.

It all depends on your perspective. It's not an easy exam neither is it too difficult to pass. I think what matters most is how much you want it.

On the quest of increasing my CRS scores, I started the CIMA journey few months ago. I weighed my options then between BCS and CIMA and I found that CIMA would be the fastest, but it came with a price, "Hard work and total dedication". I just passed the certificate level (BA1 - BA4) and will start with the evaluation this week. It took me approximately four months to complete. Preparing for my IELTS now.

Yeah, I chose regular. But earliest available date is now 3rd of September. I have been checking it since Monday continuously, but no hope yet. Is there a way to schedule a priority visa?

I think you should choose Regular since it's past 6months you were denied. Read the instruction under the Two options (Previously denied and Regular). There are July dates for Regular the last time I checked. Thank you.

Hello house!!!

I applied for visa last summer but was not approved. I just paid another visa fee now, the problem is the earliest date is 23rd of August and school resumes 10th. What can I do, can I get a priority date or something. Please help with a quick response. It's been more than six month I was denied student visa.

According to a third party individual on canadavisa.com that used it, he/she said it was a positive outcome. You can consider this as a hearsay statement, but I think there's a green light to use it.

Have you thought of CIMA? It's very flexible and anybody can pass the exams as long as you put in the work. It's a certificate in accounting and will give you two or more certificates. You can complete it within 4 months. Google more about it and make the right decision.

Please elders I'm at crossroad and I would appreciate your response, I started PGDE program in NOUN because of this journey while writing first semester exam, I found out that BCS is a bit faster and more cheaper than NOUN even after first semester fees, I decided to start reading for BCS and stop NOUN. I was advised by a brother to finish NOUN since I have started and I agreed.
Last week I went to make enquiry about how I can get statement of result when I have cleared all my papers which I was thinking this december or january that was when I was told that it's a 3-semester course and that I can't get statement of result even if I cleared my papers within one year, I would have just start BCS but I'm not sure I would be able to finish the syllabus and I don't think I can wait till next year june to get statement of result for NOUN considering high crs score

My Lady, thanks so much for your response I asked this question on behalf of a friend.

She already messaged someone who had similar evaluation on canadavisa.com and the person gave her a positive response that he/she encountered no issue using it to claim two or more certificates.

So she plans to go ahead and evaluate her degrees and yes, the course do have transcripts.

Hmm! This is really tricky.

Regarding Montessori methods as a certification: from my research, it is a 9 months to one-year (timespan might vary depending on the courses) diploma/certification (I am not sure if it has transcripts, but details on their website makes me think it does. If it has transcripts, then there is a very strong chance that it qualifies as a one-year certificate as ECA requires. I notice that the IRCC considers the 9 month montessori studies in the center at Vancouver BC as a degree based on a tweet response, which means that the cert is recognized at least in Canada). I think that it stands a chance to be evaluated as an extra diploma (or one-year certificate).

Regarding your specific question on the WES equivalency of that person: I was able to get the post where your question came from. Note that the person case was different. He evaluated a secondary school diploma and a Montessori method diploma which led to that evaluation. In the context of ECA, secondary school diploma is not even a degree in the first place. I also strongly suspect that the person did not specify ECA as the purpose of WES evaluation because ECA evaluations have only 8 kinds of equivalencies which WES would have selected for that certification.

Your case would be different because you would be evaluating a university degree and this montessori diploma which might be regarded as two or more certificate. If you already have the montessori diploma (with transcripts), I would say combine it with your uni degree for WES. When I joined the thread, BCS IT was not a thing, one person tried it and it was positive and now everybodi dey rush am. So go for it and you just might testify.

Please can you shed more light on Alberta express entry. Can current job of over 8 months of administrative officer position qualify for their PNP. With one year teaching experience and one year banking experience.
