Please I'll appreciate every input I can get today from you.

I have been working on a tech startup project for some time now. It's now live and now I can't seem to know how to grow it.

Business idea: As we all know, comedy skit makers and a lot of content creators depends on advertising to make money. The idea behind my project is to change this, to help creators monetize their contents by offering monthly subscriptions or pay per view options.

So someone like Mr Macaroni can choose to lock some of his videos and uses will have to pay a monthly subscription to view all the videos or pay a certain fee to watch a particular video (pay-per-view)

That's the idea.

But now I'm a little stuck in how to start getting people to use the platform.

Secondly, search their username/ phone number on nairaland or on Google with 'scam' added to it.

Before doing anything on nairaland, always do your due diligence.

They have been calling me and threatening me with recorded messages.

The worst aspect is that I am not the one that borrowed the money. They said one of my friend used me as a guarantor.

Can you imagine that?

I just wish there's something I can do about this.

As for my friend, I don tell am make him no pay back shishi. They've gotten their loan back for all the pains they cause

As for now, I'm not sure there's anything you can do.

These scammers know that most times you can't do anything to them and so they do anyhow without fears.

I just wish that our police is well-organised, so that one department in one state can call and ask another department in another state to take up matters.

That would make it easier to arrest these people. But now, except you can travel down to his side and actually track him.

Check his number on true caller, his name on Facebook. See if there's any family member you can link up with.

Personally, if you feel it did not come to pass, then you can say it's false and he did not hear from God. But if you feel it came to pass then you glory the Lord.

My point is we are humans. Like you he is free to use his imaginations, collect evidence, make observations and come to conclusions.

When he was making the presentation, I couldn't watch it. A Christian friend of mine also called me and inform me that he is making a grave mistake especially with the sources he was quoting as evidence.

We concluded the call by saying he could have sat down with some scientists and medical doctors in his church and made a discussion with them before coming on the alter to make such statements.

It's one thing to share personal opinions on the alter and another to share the revelation from God. But the thin line between these two is easily blurred and members cannot easily detect this flaws. Which is why the both of us were angry that time.

As a Muslim I believe you can relate with this. Not all Muslims are extremist. But some believe that is the only way to paradise and they practice and preach it to members who in turn believe it because they cannot separate the real world of Allah from the personal opinion of the Iman.
