Please guys...I need your help.

Please mods...I don't know if this is the relevant section but if it isn't, do the needful...

I want to send some money to someone in Cameroon and I was told that I could make use of Momo by MTN only for me to see that transfers via Momo to other African countries has been disabled temporarily.

I called the Momo Help and Support and they confirmed this.

Now I don't know the option to take.

Please gurus who are experienced in this, how can I sent Naira to CFA to someone in Cameroon? I don't want to take the Western Union money route please.

Have any of you done that recently and what steps did you take?

For those living in Cameroon, has anyone sent money to you from Nigeria through any mobile money app or wallet...if yes...how?

How did the ab.oki get her password or biometric to effect the transfer...this story is suspicious abeg.

It's very simple.

The poster's sister was arrantly careless. Unlocked phone, unlocked apps which include the Opay.

Now this is what he did...after he stole the phone, he accessed the Opay app which would be definitely unlocked and tied to the number of the phone...he simply changed the password and Opay sends and OTP to the same phone which he copies and viola, he has full access.

After creating the card, he used the same changed password to withdraw all the funds.

My sister's handbag was snatched at Knifepoint by an Aboki man around airforce junction in Port-harcourt. The bag contained her phone, Zenith bank ATM card and other valuables.

Unfortunately, her phone wasn't locked. The thief transferred all her money from her Zenith bank account to her OPay account, then quickly created an OPay card and withdrew the funds by midnight.

We were able to track the exact location of the phone the following day using her google account, before the thief removed the account.

We urgently need help in identifying and tracing the individual(s) who assisted with the OPay card creation and withdrawal.

we have called Opay customer care, but they are not willing to assist.

One foolish mistake Opay did was to allow their road-side Point of Sale operators to "create cards" for Opay users without following safety procedures and protocols.

A set of twins aged only five days were tragically burnt to death at General Hospital, Ikorodu, Lagos, allegedly due to negligence by the medical staff.

Mrs. Abigail Bankole (alias Iya Ibeji) gave birth to Taiwo (a boy) and Kehinde (a girl) at General Hospital, Ikorodu, on October 3, 2023 and took them home upon their discharge four days later.

However, she took them back to the hospital the next day upon discovering that the babies had jaundice.

“Upon test and confirmation of the suspected jaundice, the doctor recommended the babies be placed under the blue light for correction and treatment while they still await further inquiries from the laboratory.

“Before the babies were taken into the blue light, the mother was asked to feed the babies which she did and the babies were doing very well before they were taken into the blue light.

After about an hour, one of the nurses on duty came to increase the light and left, but the mother of the babies felt, at the level of the room temperature, the light was too high and she immediately called the attention of the nurses, but the nurses vehemently declined the call and told her it was their job and they know what they were doing.

The mother went again about eight times to call the nurses and they still ignored her, they later called her insane and told her, she was not okay as she aggressively raised the alarm and as a result, she started bleeding from the spot where she had the C-section of the babies due due to the heat from the blue light room while she stood to watch the babies.

“All the while she kept calling on the nurses, the babies were crying and Kehinde was already bringing out foam from her mouth while she painfully watched the babies and she and another family member that was by the door could not do anything due to the restrictions and attitude of the staff.

“At the time the babies were brought out, they were burnt and already turned black, even while she held the babies, their skin was cracked and the effort to hold them tightly to herself for consolation got their skin even peeled off.”
