Firstgentleman1:During my interview, that was the first question I was asked straight away, "what is the difference between privatization and commercialization, which is best for Nigeria and why?" I quickly went back to the electioneering period where Atiku promised to sell off NNPC (Privatization) against Buhari's and Kachukwu's commercialization plan. I am an Economist and stand for privatization (my opinion) but I knew it would be foolish of me to chose that in a Government controlled by the proponents of Commercialization. Na so I choose commercialization and gave my reasons b4 Atiku would put me inside trouble. ![]() |
Sezua:10k a month. |
Folohunso:10k a month |
larride:To put to bed this issue, we should invoke the FOI act and compel the Mgt of NNPC led by Mr Kyari to furnish us with the reason for this lopsided payment. |
Hopefully, I will get the much anticipated Redmi 7 in Slot stores next week. For about 6 years, I have been a Tecno addict, but I have come to the realization and conclusion that Tecno is trash. The Camon I bought in February suddenly went bad (panel issue). I have decided henceforth, to end any contractual relationship with Tecno, I am now free from nonsense and inferiority. Thanks to Easy sure, I get to pay 30% of the Redmi and spread payment for 3 months on the loan amount @9%. I can't wait for next week to come. ![]() |
It seems they decided to pay the candidates scheduled for the 6th first since a large number of us came from Lagos. Everyone that I know that was scheduled for the 6th (myself included) have all being paid. This is my own logical conclusion. Settle candidates from Lagos first (on the 6th in particular) because they came from a far distance, but I might be wrong o! Let no one come for my head now. |
Enrypech:Okay Bro. ![]() |
bobowaja:Bless you! You smart. |
cocococo:I am not surprised by this comment and ur fellow supporters who clicked the like button. Because I wanted to diffuse the tense atmosphere and add a little humor it now means I don't need this job. I pray some of you don't get heart attack if your name doesn't come out, this job may change everything in ones life but it doesn't define anyone, and guaranty any happy ending, at least not me, with or without NNPC I will have a fulfilled life. At 22 I was already in d Bank, but I will always be remembered for things less money/ bank related. King Solomon saw and had it all, at the end what did he say? You can have the APL if it makes u feel any better. |
This NNPC recruitment is highly competitive, that I am certain of. This is why I said so: While waiting at the Amphitheatre on the 6th of July for my interview, I sat next to this fair gorgeous Lady. At first, I was reluctant to talk to her as she appeared more interested in pressing her phone than talking. My breakthrough came when she inquired from me the direction to the rest room as I had earlier gone to ease myself. We began talking, lowering our voices as we passed comments on every activity that went on in the theatre. Soon, she began smiling and laughing quietly to my remarks and comments, the more she laughed, the more she looked so beautiful to me. But my Achilles heel was before me, "how do I make do of my advantage to collect her number?" I asked myself as I have always struggled with the opposite sex at this part of any interaction. Gradually, as time passed by, I got some information though reluctantly, like her name, school attended and current workplace. I couldn't still muster the confidence to ask her for her number. No sooner had other candidates joined us in our discussion when I was suddenly called by my usher and led to the As I waited for my turn at the lobby, I couldn't take my mind off her, I kept on thinking of how I could get her number. Interview over, took a road trip back to Lagos, as I got to the Office on Monday, I began using everything within me to search for her, Twitter, Facebook, Truecaller, everything. I finally made a breakthrough on LinkedIn but I wasn't satisfied, it had been 3 days since I sent a connection request yet, no answer. I then decided to use Goggle, the first page had everything I needed, my jaw dropped, my suspicion was confirmed. This Lady, was the 3rd best in a national examination few years ago, was on scholarship to study in one of the leading public schools in Nigeria and recently, was shortlisted by a National scholarship body as one of the four successful candidate from her State to go study (Post Graduate) at one of the best University in one of the best country In Europe. We are currently friends on LinkedIn, and I am yet to ask her for number. ![]() |

Anjelus:2 years experience, less than 25 years old. Not bad. That means the person u seek must be a guru, to have finished school and NYSC around 23, got a job and gained valuable experience. The only problem with this vacancy is that I am 50% certain you are not paying more than 80k, 80k?!! thats even too much, you arent gonna pay more than 50k. So why should a high flying Lady/Gentleman, with such bright prospect settle with such mediocrity. Oga!! go and find an OND holder and pay that peanut to that person. Some employers are Ludicrous. You want good soup but don't want to pay. Any person with 2 years experience and less than 25years should be at KPMG or PWC and their likes collecting 150k upwards not a confectionery. Nonsense!! |
innobarca:Ok, sent a message to your line. |
Can I pick it on saturday @ 8k. We woud meet at Oshodi? |
Teaser4:If it turns out to be true, then, good luck to them, I have collected their money, used the opportunity to buy the first suit in my life, met some wonderful and smart people by the virtue of this interview. When Unilag rejected me twice, I thought my dreams had come to an end, I went on to have a fantastic higher institution journey. If I don't get d APL I would still go on to have a fantastic and fulfilling career. NNPC needs you more than you need them if you know the stuff you are made of. ![]() |
Ludicrous!!! Some peeps here are unbelievable, equating not being paid or being paid to mean getting d APL. ![]() How can a rational mind juxtapose this? Can't agree less with John Bellion, the thread is on an "all time low" |
There is an urgent need for a flat mate @ Magboro in Ogun State. I will be moving in next week, its a 3 bedroom flat not really spectacular, I need to move in with someone and use d money to take care of few things. The person should be single, with light load and duration is about 6 months, preferably a job seeker. Pls, I need a honest and responsible person, male or female. Thank u. |
Lovelyn451:Damn!! U know right? Who said d beautiful ones are not yet born. |
Enrypech:Thanks, I am blushing ![]() I write for fun, not a Novelist. |
FAIRALL:Nah!! Economics. |
10K? |
kachii77:No, He wasn't the only one, there was a Yoruba man to his right, no Woman/Lady. |
Saw the movie "what happened to Monday" yesterday. Nice movie, nice story, concept and application, directing is a little bit poor. In all, I rate it 6/10 |
During my interview, when it was the time to ask questions, I asked if the recruitment is going to be based on the Federal Character principle, the Chief Panelist, an Igbo man replied "why are you asking?".....I said to myself, no be una say make we ask questions ni? ![]() He went to say that every State will be well represented and concluded by saying "we know where this oil is coming from" at that point, I just swallowed spit because there were 2 other Hausa men on the panel, I looked at them and their countenance weren't too pleasing, the room all of a sudden went quiet, I could hear the sounds of the clock tick, I just wanted to leave immediately, "I shouldn't have asked any question" I murmured to myself as I took my leave. I still don't know why my Chief panelist said that. |
SQLmastar:Lol. Na so e easy. ![]() |
I just made a Research on the report and I am sure it would have made a big difference in the Socio-Economic activity of Nigeria. This emphasizes the fact that Laws/Rules are not the problem of Nigeria but the implementation of it. Check the recommendations of the committee, its near perfect. May God help us all. |
Test was ok, tho time was so fast. Hoping for the best, but won't be surprised if I get a regret mail. Pwc, Pedaboo, First Bank, GT Bank, Unilever and some small companies have done worse. |
nurez305:Hi, Pls, can I pay 20k this weekend and pay d remaining 10k in 2 weeks time? |
D only memorable thing that happened today was that I told d Lady that ushered my panel in that I was hungry. She offered her food, the other guys talk say dey no wan chop, me i no send. I chop d rice finish, d lady and I shared d chicken, one of d guy wey talk say him no wan chop, come put e hand inside my chicken ![]() I use water flush am down before I entered in for my interview. How I go dey inside NNPC and hunger go dey catch me ![]() Though d chairman of my panel thought my Dad , because of my surname was his former boss, he said d man was so good to him, that if he was d one, he would have walked away to prevent clash of interest. Abeg, were I fit see Gtb around Maitama, Wise or Utako? This cup has passed, time to move on. To NNPC, thanks for d privilege, it was an honour. |
