Once u give me that response, that is the end of the interview and trust me I hire the smartest dudes in my industry.
If u know ur worth u can be earning 60k currently and make up Ur mind without 250k u are not moving
You make it clear that current is 60k u expect 250k and it is non negotiable.
As for those who will like to lie, Ur 3-6 months pay slip would be asked for before u are given offer. They will see that the potential hire has no integrity and value
What if I don't have a pay slip? My current workplace doesn't issue one, they just pay you like that.
These were Husbands to Wives, Father's to Children, Son's to Mother's.
It's so sad, they didn't deserve to die in such a cruel manner, they just wanted to serve their country in all honesty.
I am in tears, my uncle died while fighting for Nigeria in Borno, I am beginning to think he died in vain, he died for a cause that is spearheaded by the same people who sent him to fight.
Nigeria!! Awake!! Nigeria, how long will you continue in your slumber?

Good day, I'm looking for someone staying close to Magboro or it's environs (Berger, Mowe, Arepo, Ibafo) to help me with preparation of soup (vegetable especially). An Igbo lady or one from the south south is preferable.
I need to cut down on the cost of buying food. I am a young guy just trying to earn a living, so, I ain't so rich. If your time is flexible, on weekends, it would be better.

We are all here for some special reason. Stop being a prisoner of you past. Become the architect of your future.
It was a stunner. For the first time in my life, I couldn't predict a series emin all episodes of its 4 season. I didn't see anything, absolutely anything coming. Every twist got me spell bound, speechless!!
The producers of that series are too much. And what a way to end the show, what a way!!
At the end, Mr White did it, not because of his family, but because it felt good, and I agree with him, the thrill of crime is an opium which gets criminals going at their crime.
At the end, like El Chapo, Pablo Escobar and their likes, crime doesn't pay. But men! Hesinberg needs to be studied, that man is a crime genius up until when he was caught.
What I took out of it is, crime doesn't pay, even if you're Einstein.
Wish we could have something similar again, old series are fantastic.
Right now, I am going to dust the old file of Prison Break . It looks really interesting.
School days are over, make I enjoy my life small.
Lost, Grey's Anatomy and Wire you all are up next.
So it is valid to assert that consumer goods and luxury goods don't play by the same rules. Also, because purchasing power is at an all-time low, it will be wise to sell via quantity rather than brand (perceived higher quality)...hmmm
I just see what many firms are doing, having a consumer line and also a premium line. So they have parallel branding, parallel advertising, and two different strategy. Like another poster mentioned.. indomie brand and their new relish brand.
Why I even started wondering..I just realised bigi cola has taken significant market share from Cocacola.. yet almost everyone accept that Cocacola tastes better than Bigi Cola. Thanks for the response!
@Jarus and other economists in the house. Something that has been bothering my mind.
In the current market conditions of Nigeria nowadays, is it better to play in the premium segment or mass market?
I mean, some brands play premium (their earnings model is based on higher brand value and higher GM - gross margin e.g Cocacola, Pampers), while others play to the volume (lower GM, but higher volume e.g. indomie, molfix, Bigi Cola)
What's your take on this guys? (Sorry I'm putting it on this thread)
You are referring to the profit maximisation or cost minimisation objective for the firm.
Remember, in a monopolistic competition, the firm can only influence either price or quantity and not both.
What many firms are trying to achieve right now is cost minimisation, in this scenario (mass market)
Here is the reason; purchasing power is still low amongst the vast populace and don't forget, those goods you mentioned up there are consumers goods not luxury goods where the few rich pay top premium.
I remember sometime ago, NDIC published a report saying that about less than a 1,000 Nigerian's have the largest share in Bank deposits (current and savings).
Hypothetically speaking, if I sell coca cola at N100, and the ratio of the rich to the middle class is 1 to 10, it would be easier to sell a packet of coca cola to 10 persons at N100 each to sum N1000 than to convince 1 man to buy a packet, and even if I persuade him, the multiplier effect may not be achieved.
For this reason, the law of Demand would not hold here (the lower the price the higher the quantity demanded) because the rich class loves to buy the goods no one is buying and the goods/products you listed up there don't strike as a luxury good/product. Therefore, the mass market strategy, would be the best to achieve.
To cite a practical example, Pepsi was once sold for N120, the masses withdrew, they had to bring it back to a N100 even with more quantity. Coke on the other hand couldn't cope, so they had to reduce the quantity to keep up with the same price. They both seek the same objective but now, capital is speaking, and I believe 7up Co. has d edge over NBC.
The Economy eventually decides which is the best method to adopt.
number5: I went through your profile last week (sorry if U're not ok with that) and we have alot in common, though i graduated at a much younger age than you did..
It will be a pleasure connecting with you after APL drops
One reps guy told we the other day that our gulder senator turned minister (yes, the one recently nominated for ministerial watever) came home fuming at FCC and NNPC that he came in contact with the approved list for this NNPC recruitment from ours beloved state and 23 persons were picked for us, out of wich 20 oyi and 3 owam. The thing did not really go down well with baba sha, but nnpc told him that there is nothing he or anyone can do as the highest scorers were choosed and the best are what nnpc needs irrespective of influence from the big men, and most of they/he/his people didnt even make it to interview
I didnt know the reps guy bfor sha neither does he knows me or is aware that i applied.. Just all those talks for local men joint. I just kept mute as if nothing gum me with nnpc
My takes from all of those sha is
1. List has been approved 2. No influence in most states especially the non oil producing states 3. Mails to be sent to us as predicted by most guys here (few days from now) 4. Most of the sources have given up on trying to influence the process as they CANNOT can.
5. He actually doesnt lie or deceive, concerning his oaths and promises (you should know Who I'm talking about brothers) see us at the towers soon
Are u referring to Mr Emeka Nwajiuba?
I guess you are from IMO state.
One of the reasons that I am happy that there was a fallout between Rochas and APC is because there would be minimal, if no interference from influential figures like Rochas.
Now that PDP has our state in an APC government, we can assume that the best candidates will be selected.
