Yet the fight continues even on a thread that was supposed to bring us together, sometimes i wonder how we are still together 100 years after amalgation and 50 years after independence, with the way its going its hard to see another 100years of Nigeria, of which we the citizens will be at disadvantage.

As an Igbo man i acknowledge that we are still paying for the war we fought back tru our neglect in Centre politics but we have gone too far to break out, and lest we forget, our Father's and father's father caused this, not us, we can change the narrative, we can rewrite the story of Nigeria, I can't imagine a scenario where I'm confined to just people of same tribe, we need to mix, every country in the world is, no country is mono cultured, look at India, even Brazil, Thailand and Singapore.

Remember what Christ told the Israelites when they asked him about divorce, he told them moses gave them that law because they were to stubborn to forgive. If we can just forgive the past, forgive the events from 1966 till date, the hate has gone on for too long, y should we all continue to fight ourselves because of the mistakes and over zealousness of some military officers who represented our tribe in an era we weren't even born in.

We have long been handed the baton of hate and all that comes with it, are we going to hand over same baton to our children?

Yes there are so many issues with our system (politically and socially) but let's try resolve them peacefully. Everyone wants to be heard at the same time, let one speak while others listen so we can all be heard.

People like you should wake up from your day dream. The common enemy is not bad governance, the common enemy is Nigeria. Nigeria does not work. If you bring two or more ideologically together, the result will be anarchy unless those people are able to see a common national factor that binds them together. The white man made a big mistake bringing the Igbo/Yoruba/Hausa-guano man together, they should have been 3 different countries. All 3 are very different in their norms, culture and reasoning. If we had been 3 different countries, we would have been good friends because there would have been nothing to fight about. But as long as we are all under Nigeria, we shall keep fighting because unity is not something you can force on people. You are either united or you are not.

Just because Lord Lugard brought us together does not mean that we were meant to be together.

I'm an Igbo man, a tribe of over 45 million people. I am way over due to have my own country. If Jamaica, of just 3 million people can be an independent nation, then why can I? This constant fighting with Yoruba and Hausa-Fulani inside Nigeria has got to come to an end

Hmmmmm, what can i say, even the great USSR collapsed, UK broke, and Northern Ireland went their way, America also had that issue, but never a time was their problem about development, that's the difference between ours and them, though I agree its complex living with mixed people for a long time but some countries are doing it.

I'm begging you all, Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, its enough, we already have a common enemy in d name of "bad governance" to fight, its no good fighting ourselves, can a house divided against itself stand?. Nigeria is a blessed country, you won't know until you travel to d six geopolitical zone, its quite unfortunate that politics have overshadowed our strengths.

I'm Igbo, I love Yoruba people, my best friend Ope, is youruba, the lady I've ever truly loved Bola is youruba, my best friends in the university were Hausa's from Kano, all of them voted for me during my dept elections, I'm serving in Plateau state, and I can't tell you how beautiful it is here, if not we are together I would have been paying millions to come here, what about other lovely places, there is beauty in our diversity truly.

I'm not saying things are going on smoothly but we shouldn't continue to fight ourselves, our enemies are the political class, the bad governance, corruption. These people do not consider tribe or religion when they want to loot, check out the current corruption cases, all tribes and religion are involved, they don't Carr about us, whether we eat well or we sleep, they don't care.

There is so much I want to say but let me stop here, pls we are all one, let's see each other as human beings created by God, and not people with different tribes, let's love one another, look at those little children in Rann should they die because they are from the North? Should that boy in Aba not get education because he's from the east? Look at what Rwanda has achieved in such a short time since they decided to be united, look at the pains Liberians and Sierra leones are passing through because of years hatred for one another, if not wars Africa would have been much greater than where it is.

Tell me how biased can i be, I'm happy for the progress in Lagos just like I'm happy for all states, even Rocha's my Governor I've never at any point insulted him or called him names, even President Buhari though I'm not pleased in some aspects of his administration I've never insulted him or the seat he represents, I came to this thread seeking truce among ourselves seeking peace, but someone refused that peace and started attacking me, I say today, ayokellany or whatever is your name that hatred, frustration and anxiety will never leave your house, as you have thrown away this olive branch may your heart be filled with the evil spirit that tormented King Saul till d day he committed suicide, heaven and earth, God and man bear me witness today, and if you bring my parents into this again, by the heavens and the earth you shall meet the same fate that befell king Saul this April.

Don't mind them, many people here are dumb, they don't reason, they don't know facts, just talk like stark illiterates. The man though he has his issues, but in this case he is absolutely correct, IMO state has the highest number of workers in the federal service, they also have the highest number of medical personnel, both undergraduate and graduate in this country, yet, it has only 2 universities with its teaming academic population.

Nigerian youths learn how to talk with facts, don't open your mouth because you need to say something, open it because you have something to say and you will be respected.

So I stumbled on this thread 3 days ago, just skimmed the pages...didn't really have time though I got some very helpful tips.

Flashback to last week, met a lady corps member during Cds, we began chatting, she likes my company offline and online, but there came a problem, lady has a bf far away from here (plateau state) she says she loves him.... Me I just bone her side as every trick i made fell on sandy soil.

We met again yesterday, and this lady was just all over me, talking..talking...and talking. Later we say out byes, in d evening I chat her up, telling her when next we will see (was hoping she could say weekend and come over) lady replies " next week Wednesday when we are at cds ".

Now at this point, I just started following the thread and getting tips, so i told her that I think she just wants a chatting mate, that I think won't like to be used and dumped, since she just wants someone to chat with her every Wednesdays (meanwhile I want more, not necessary sex but a committed relationship, yes she said she is into one but I think she's lying because I checked her phone and found no trace of any guy).

Lady tells me she already has her female friend that she chats with every Wednesday a lady who I met (then I began to wonder but you were all over me yesterday not her) so she says she doesn't understand what I mean by her trying to use and dump me, that she's cool with her friend.

At that point I knew I was at a fix, hadron once said never apologize ( I used to do this a lot to ladies even when they are wrong) so I told her that in life when on a Cliff, its either you jump or you are pushed, I'm not going to crawl back asking for her friendship and one day I'm in d trash, its better I jump off this bad situation on my terms, with my balls intact.

So i told her good luck with her new friend, I'm done being any lady's bitch ( didn't say this actually).

I just feel happy, d old me would have apologized or just settle with being her chat mate, but no more, I wish I had come across this thread long ago, ladies have shown me shege, I've suffered in their hands, but its over, no more acting like a piece of rag for their feet, its either my way, my terms, my laws, or they use the exit door, would never beg any lady for any relationship or act like they are important from hence forth.

I work.in an NGO, they don't pay but gibr allowance based on outreaches and seminars they organize, they also gave me accommodation, many states including plateau don't pay.
