We keep on getting miserable because we have been taught or subconsciously aligned to think life is has a particular straight road which everyone must follow to get to their destination.

I don't want to bore you with stories of people who took a different path not just with regards marriage but life generally and were success.

A Philosopher/Poet once wrote "two roads diverged into the woods, I took the one less taken/travelled and that has made all the difference"

Leave those who are following the band and don't know why they are on the wagon.

Know what you want from life, write it out,set it out on motion, ask the Lord to direct you, lead you.

Don't be scared, do not cower, God gives grace to all, including those who had a child at 18 and those who had at 38.

Life is not a one cap fits all. Goodluck.

Get something reasonable doing

Men will line up to get your approval if you upgrade your present status

Calm down and set your goals going while the search continues in a seemless way

There is nothing wrong in her getting married even at 19.

A good marriage isn't a mutually exclusive event. She can get married tomorrow and still be the most powerful woman to ever step foot on earth.

You are right. We don't take safety measures at all. We just focus on buying machines and installing them, no orientation, no safety precautions, that's d Naija style.

We aren't in the biz anymore but my Dad and some workers experienced different work hazard. I guess I was just lucky.

Every proper piece of equipment or machinery has safety features built into it for those careful enough to study them. No factory machine is designed to kill or maim people.

I used to work in my Dad's factory. I was assigned to a machine called the crusher.

That machine had blades inside that crushed every plastic to pieces.

Now, that's not the funny thing. In all of these I was exposed to a part of the machine that connects the electric motor to d machine.

Any slight mistake that involves your body touching that side then you are gone.

It's a miracle that I never had any industrial accident. Let's not even talk of the terrible electric wiring all over.

It's not even about the subsidy. The new ones; Lagos Bus Ltd (operators of the light blue buses) are also subsidized but efficiently run.

I understand that Govt provides d buses and they (Primero) manages it.

The question is on what arrangement was the PPP given?

I'm guessing that Primero couldn't fulfill their own financial side of the bargain and Govt couldn't bear the cost all alone.

I agree � with ur write up, I wouldn't have put it better. Primero generates an average daily revenue of N23million on week days and N19million on weekends.

In a sane Govt, that coy would have been thoroughly scrutinized by external auditors.

It's either someone is stealing from their accounts or it is terribly run

But the debt profile of the coy is something else ( diesel debts, refinancing of the loan from sterling bank by issuing a corporate bond, the bond was not so successful as a major investor pulled out at the last minute). When u say they have 400 buses, I laff out loud, do ur findings and confirm how many buses they roll out daily.

Primero Transport is probably d worst run entity in the world.

Words fail me to understand how a company that runs the Ikd to Tbs route can't break even.

When Fashola re-constructed the Ikorodu road from Mile 12 to d d junction to Laspotech with the World Bank loan there were rumours that it would be tolled just as the Lekki-Ajah express way and Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge.

The Govt quickly dispelled it. You can't brandish taxes as a gift to the citizens you came to rescue.

The question is the little you have received, what have you done with it?
