Mihzwhitesutana: I am not sure if it was upto 4 hours. Mine was before I got admission. After staying at home with nothing to do I joined some GNLD marketers.
At 10 am, after walking for hours, knocking from door to door, I got to a house.. and a masculine voice thundered, "say what you want to say, I am listening". I was explaining what each drugs can be used for and how important they were. The man said "ok thank you. But I have my personal physician" (so why let me spend more than 5 minutes talking).
I knocked on another gate but was given a hot chase by one stupid dog. If not that I used to be 1st in short distance race back in secondary school, that bingo would have spoilt my show. |

Stanweezy: Mine is Hotel work as a bar man I spent only one month and 5 days.
See the story below.
My ôga (owner of hotel) called one Olosho to sleep with his friend to help his ministry from dying, my ôga no no say the nigga don already arranged two Olosho keep for room though I'm aware bkus I don already drop drinks for them.
My ôga said I should give the gal anything she wants though I was reluctant bkus I want that his friend to confirm the things the girl is taking.
But my ôga shouted at me that I should give the Olosho drinks, na so Olosho ordered Isi Ewu, pepper soup, and beer only her. Babe carry hunger come ooo and na undergraduate student I know the school but won't mention it.
When the man came down he told me that my ôga go pay for all those things the gal ate that she's not interested in that gal that I should calculate what the ones she left in his room ate and my ôga go pay for what he gave the Olosho bkus he didn't tell him he need Olosho.
I told my ôga that night that his friend refused to pay for what Olosho took, na so my ôga begin shout say that his friend must pay that I should not worry that tomorrow morning he will confront him.

Also @OP someone on this great platform once said "learn to know when a lady needs help and when she needs love"
It's obvious that this lady needs help and not love. When she is ready to look for love I hope she still finds you worthy.
There are many lady's in town that just needs financial help, don't mistake it for an avenue to fall in love with them, it's a facade.
Do your little and leave. You are not Christ and so can't save everyone. |

Wow! I almost feel for the same shit for a Unilag undergraduate. It was her aunt that told me to pull the plug that she won't make a good wife, after some weeks I saw what everyone saw. I cut my losses and moved on. ogbonti: you are wise my brother
never date and support a student financially - it almost never end well
More than a decade ago, I dated this girl I met on the day I was leaving Nigeria after a short visit - we met at the airport as she was seeing a Rev Sister in her parish off and we got talking and one thing led to another we exchanged numbers - i got to the states and we kept communicating and she was an undergrad at UNILAG then - and after a few months of chatting and phone calls - she started complaining how her parents are not supporting her education because they were poor bla bla bla and initially I was so reluctant in sending her anything - but after a while - I said to myself - if this girl calls me all the time and we laugh and joke and open up all the time about life's dreams, and matters- why not just give her even if its 20k to survive a bit - that's not up to what I spend in going out on a Friday night to hang out with friends- so I sent her 20k like 3 times within a year and I was not expecting anything from her - I just felt like helping afterall the money i sent cant buy me anything tangible - its beer money here - afterall she is a "good girl"
cut a long story short - i had to get some documents from a business partner who was having housing issue and going thru a divorce, who resides in Ibadan and I sent this girl 10k to go to Ibadan from LAGOS to get the documents and keep it safely for me as I was planning on coming to Nigeria in a few weeks time (although I didnt open up to her I was coming to Nigeria - I wanted to surprise her) - she took the money and she didn't go and she started avoiding me.
I was stunned - and furious because it was important that she does, after promising me she will- do you know when we got into a little heated argument - I just told her - "girl, I am disappointed u didnt go get those documents- afterall each time you call to tell me ur problems- at east I show concern - only once and the first time I asked you to do something for me, you didnt.... she thundered in response, "what and who do u think u are ? because you live abroad, you think you can just order me around? - or is it the little change you gave me? Did I send you to help me? hmmm thank God she never begged me for money oooo bla bla bla - I froze!!!!
This girl didnt even realize that I was planning to empower her with $5,000 to open a provision store so she can study in there and sell - then still go to school - I was trying to surprise her with the package because I was already developing feelings for her. After she insulted the living day lights out of me - I simply knelt down and thanked my God I didn't give her that money and I celebrated like for a week - because she pretended for 15 months as being so sweet and caring and a PRETTY wife material that I almost made a blunder - N60K in a year of benevolence and N10k for an errand she didn't honor are nothing compared to $5,000 I would have given to this ungrateful girl
so - if you do not desist and leave this girl alone - when she graduates and starts working - you will hear things like
1. did i send you to help me?
2. what did you do for me that someone cant do?
3. is it not your mate that take their gal to shop in MARS and the MOON?
4. ordinary food, phone and tfare you gave me, you are shouting - are you this broke ?
5. what's your own - did i not give you kponmo?
6. when your mates were serious with life- you were chasing after women - (as if she is not the woman that ate you dry)
7. I beg make we hear word, when people are talking about opening a business - you sef will be talking
8. which kain yeye business u open - is laundry business a business ?
9. I am not the one who wrecked you oooo - please go and look for those who ate your money
10. what did you spend for me - calculate it and I will pay you back - nonsense (that is if you are lucky she has any integrity)
OP - stop dulling yourself and leave this gal alone - you are are not Jesus Christ and let her go and meet her father for help. Chikena!!!!! |

I'm not so familiar with these loans, hire purchases and other biz deals.
I've always wondered, if I pay by debt obligation let's say 10% on N1million to 80% and I'm no longer able to pay the further 20%, what happens to my collateral? Do I still completely forfeit it? |
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by CsRockefeller(m): 2:30pm On Jul 25, 2020 |
emmanuelewumi: Memorandum of understanding is to make the use of the car as a collateral a legal agreement which gives the lender the right to become the owner of the car if the entrepreneur fails to pay back the loan with interest within 12 months.
The lender is not concerned about the business plan, but the security of his fund and the legal right to retrieve his fund immediately after 12 months without stories I understand but, you should also be concerned if the loanee has d ability to pay easily from d biz at least that's what banks do even with the collateral as a bond. |

emmanuelewumi: Imagine a young guy needed 500k for a start up, the person he met said he would give him a loan of 500k @ 20% per annum, but must submit a collateral security that is worth N1 million and above.
The guy though he was smart, he dropped the keys and documents of his car with the lender, until the lender invited him to sign a memorandum of understanding with his lawyer, which will be stamped at the nearest high court.
Can you imagine, the start up enterpreneur said he doesn't want a loan again..
Why did he pull out if he was very sure of the business success? As cliché as it sounds, did you see the biz plan? |

emmanuelewumi: Enterpreneurs should learn to crawl before standing, then walk, later jump and then run.
Trust is a big issue
Start small and grow. Create value and build your character. If your sibblings, cousins, parents, spouse, friends, colleagues, neighbours, old school mates, church and mosque members can't invest in your dream. It means you have not been able to create value, you are not resourceful or you lacked integrity. Another hasty generalisation. |
