Hopefully, these guys would begin to think towards a Yoruba independent country and stop being a spoil sport for the more legitimate Biafran agenda. Though I would take this story with a huge dose of salt given the obvious historical wet dreams. |

This guy need to be voted out as a matter of necessity. I would agree with him if it were a sane country, but Nigeria is not sane. A country with 60% majority Muslim can not be sane. A country with the 3rd and 4th most deadliest terrorist groups in the world is not sane. Even the President is mad. |

I have been hearing this since 2010, yet the. NDDC just somehow never recognizes Lagos. The government of Lagos must be obsessed with phantom oil. Oil that nobody else can see. |

1Tkester: How serious would you want it to be. FOR starters, I expected ekweremadu to lobby the rest of the PDP bloc to shut down the Senate, refuse to ratify the budget, until the President pay a personal visit to Enugu, promising the people that such would not repeat itself, ever again. That is how it is done in the civilized world. As a matter of fact, ekweremadu would have lost his seat in some countries. But then losing his seat would be inimical to Igbo interests, given the kind of politics played there. |

AreaFada2: Don't forget that history plays a part too.
Take Oba of Benin for example. Just 59 years earlier, there had been a bitter war with the British. The British by 1956 would have known there was no love lost.
Onitsha doesn't have that history of defiance against the British despite tax protests and so on.
The attire Oba Akenzua was wearing was another act of defiance, never mind the courtesy and diplomacy. That very attire belonged to Oba Ovonramwen and was even initially seized by the British in 1897 but later returned.
Anybody familiar with history will know that the Europeans tend to like you if were historically obedient to them.
Europeans doing padi padi with you is hardly ever to your advantage long term.
Same reason the ensured the North got the power before leaving at independence. Knowing they won't take Nigeria anywhere. 56 years on, we can all see it. But Igbos fought the British colonialist too, which were well documented. Even Achebe wrote of it in his things fall apart book. Anyway, I was just kidding about the Oba. I mean no disrespect. |

Ibo and money is just like bread and butter Maybe federal government should the compensation from the 100s lives lost during the Ikeja bomb blast, then the lives lost to different boko haram attacks. What I think federal government should do is to pay the medical bills of the injured and provide adequate security against subsequent attacks ikarm17: They also want Nigeria to compensate them for the Biafran war; N1bn. Let's see how long it takes; when FG gives in or when ultimatum deadline draws closer. ikarm17: onenaira5,
From your IDP camp, can you confirm whether your governor has compensated the Fulani invasion victims?
You said 9 people die, NUF said 50. Who should we believe? victorvezx: go and eat sh*t, u biafrans forced the war on Nigeria, Nigeria never wanted it. That is why Nigeria will never compensate anybody for the war, we will keep laughing at u and the horrors u faced in the war which was started by the coward Biafra Gaylord, Ojukwu. ikarm17: onenaira5,
From your IDP camp, can you confirm whether your governor has compensated the Fulani invasion victims?
You said 9 people die, NUF said 50. Who should we believe? You lots are sick. People are compensated by the government in situations like these In countries with a future. Which is why karma will always ensure your country is nothing more than a backward jungle, where your collective lives mean for nothing. The civil war was the only reason why the igbos had to take a back bench to the Yoruba in education. Ask yourself why the heads of all the educational institutions in the south were mostly igbos before the civil war. Look at this country today, and tell me if Yorubas are still the most educated. Imo state alone probably has more professors and PHD holders that three Yoruba States put together, atleast according to the NUC. btw, you are not only a tribalist, you are an ethnic supremacist. |

Look at them standing as equals. The Queen and the Prince are obviously comfortable and relaxed. Education and sophistication has a way of showing. not like a certain picture featuring a certain Oba and a certain premier with the Queen looking like she had seen a ghost and a savage, and afraid to even shake hands. *with all due respect to the Oba * |
